Had a great weekend at our houseboat on Lake Verret, LA. We did alot of fishing, chillin, and working on the houseboat. It was a nice weekend for a getaway!

Does Tara know that's not "pee" coming out of that boy sun fish you kept squirt'n her with...LMAO...Great channel and I look forward to watching more. I miss living down there...

We been lucky as far as hurricanes not tearing up our camp. Can't say the same for where we actually live. IDA put the smack down on us here in Houma. We love the area around Lake Verret. Beautiful area, good fishing, good people. Thanks buddy! You still putting the hurt on some trout?

Nice very nice, looking hard to find something like that around here but might have to look more south in your neck of the woods. Great video steaks looked amazing, and the fishing seems to always be pretty good there.

Great vid man I been watching through all your stuff since I stumbled on one of the vids.... Looks like La has a 12 inch minimum on size for goo fish... No size or bag limit for them here in Tx..... which is strange they eat pretty good just don't yield as much meat for the size of the fish

Hahaha! I know! We been having a gutter and a rain barrel to set up for quit some time but we always playing around too much and it doesn't get done. It's on my to do list. 😂
What kinda pump you use for that cop add shower system? Also what brand boat is that. Man y’all living the life, My wife said she could go there and never come out. LOL
The pump actually came with the shower. Camplux is the brand. The pump is 1.2 gpm. The boat I have now is a 1848 GatorTail aluminum haul with a 40 hp GatorTail. We spend a lot of time out there at the camp and we love it. 🐊
Y’all doing it right man. I fish Lake Verret as often as I can. Live about 45 minutes away. Don’t get there as much as I would like too. Rented a camp on shell beach this past June but the fishing was terrible this year.

I like the motor on your boat I looked at a pereadter mud skipper .
I've actually never heard of a mud skipper. I looked it up. It looks like what we call a go-devil long tail. I have a GatorTail and I love it. 🐊🐊🐊

Not good to use the bayou water to shower,you can get major ear infections or worse. It is not likely but it is a chance for sure.

We bought it from a guy that built it as a duck hunting camp. It's actually sitting on 55 gallon plastic drums.

We own the camp. There is no fee to pay in the canal that we are located in. There are yearly fees in some of the other areas around us. 🐊
