Nergigante as an invader would be CRAZY amazing. He could come in once you finish the hunt or come in once you’ve substantially wounded the elder dragon.
Yes! It could also work that you see Qurupecos as part of herds where he doesn’t fit in. Since he uses his song and sounds to maybe trick the herd into believing he’s a part of them.
@@Jaycan , another idea with it in mind: what if there was one that became like a siren of sorts, pulling you to it by use of say Seikret mimicing or making a hum that the guiding flies are pulled to. Maybe even mimicing other hunters. Quropeco on an open map could have so many op abilities!
I think Qurupeco would fit in splendidly in Wilds. He desperately needs to return, especially since the only game that he's been in since his debut was Stories and its sequel. I don't mind Yian Kut Ku, but at the same time, it just uses the flying wyvern rig like a lot of older Monster Hunter monsters. There isn't anything wrong with it necessarily as there are unique monsters that use the flying wyvern rig such as the Astalos and Legiana, but Qurupeco's rig feels more unique in comparison. I like the idea of Qurupeco calling packs of monsters, it sounds like it would be fun. If we do get a volcanic region, I wouldn't be too surprised if we get Agnaktor and I hope we do. The Balahara looks like it borrows some animations from our lava dwelling leviathan. Granted it doesn't mean much since Gaismagorm uses similar animations to Akantor and Ukanlos and they're not in the 5th generation anywhere. The thing about the clack clack sound on Agnaktor is that it gives him his personality. Without it, Agnaktor doesn't really feel like well Agnaktor. Seltas and Queen need to return eventually. Honestly, outside of the fated four, Gore, Shagaru and Seregios, the fourth generation felt really underrepresented in gen 5. There were several really cool monsters like Kecha Wacha, Zamtrios, Tetsucabra, Najarala, heck I wouldn't have minded if Iceborne at least remembered Oroshi Kirin. I hope in the sixth generation that we get to see more of the monsters introduced in 4 and 4U. I could imagine having to deal with swarming Seltas.
Thing about Agnaktor is he would still do the clack clack when not in the inclemecy periods. When he’s in normal weather he would work like he does not, but when the inclement conditions start his properties changes just a little bit where he doesn’t need to clack clack anymore and can just beam suddenly. Gaismagorm might be a decent ground work to start with making Ukanlos and Alantore actually since it’s technically the same engine as Wilds. I just think their implementation will be a little different than what we’re used to. Video coming soon on that for sure!
Unlike the monsters that should not return list, I can STRONGLY agree with this vid. I would also really really really love to see Narjala, or tetsucabra it’s been to long. Also I’d love to see a part 2
Funny how that works lol I love that we all have different opinions, but at the end of the day we just want to hunt more monsters and play the series that we love so much!
Qurupeco is such a good monster with such a fun design, hje needs to come back, he's literally PERFECT for a seemeless/ open world game! Tetsucabra is one i personaly wanna see again, i loved him in GU and his armor design is so good man, I need to see an HD render of it
Imagine the start of the plesioth quest: your suppose to go under water to get a material or something, you end up coming face to face with a plesioth. Now it’s chasing you as you’re both rushing to the surface.
Lmao I could see it for sure. Could also be a thing where the other monsters are completely tricked by his sounds and don’t attack him at all too! Then the hunter is getting double teamed!
I want multiple invading monsters that could potentially invade at the same time. It would be awesome to see Bazel and Valstrax both invade or just give variety so being invaded isn't always the same
I'd love to see a lot of these monsters. I have only played World and Rise, but part of why I really enjoyed Rise so much was all of the new monsters! I hope we get a fair share of brand new monsters that aren't just model colors/reworks.
Ah I understand you! You mean monsters new to you or actual brand new monsters? We always get a bit of subspecies(recolors/reworks) in every Master Rank expansion though.
This list is full of hits (plesioth aside, respectfully) and I really like how you put up some good points as to why each monster would fit well in Wilds. Hopefully we get to see the fan favorites return
I’ll take 5/6 we can’t all have the same opinions that would make for a boring world if we all thought the same way. I really thought these out so I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Aganaktor, the clack clack clack man himself, ABSOLUTELY needs to come back (and if I could have a wish, Gammoth would make a trumpeting return too Capcom pls) Great video!
Alright, just actually finished listening to the whole video and damn dude, it’s like you just wrote out my entire mental wishlist I’ve had for this game lmao Every single one of them (other than Plesioth but I’ll give you and it a chance) is exactly what I’ve been hoping and praying for out of Wilds and god DAMN do I hope we are right. Still, great video!
I fully agree with Plesioth if not a new variant/subspecies. I honestly want to see new subspecies in general more adapted to the harsh environments of Wilds
I feel like the portable team will want to save the fated four reunion for the next game after Wilds. I agree about Gammoth coming back though, it just makes sense. Iceborne: Glavenus Rise: Mizutsune Sunbreak: Astalos Wilds: Gammoth
5 monster I NEED to return are Malfestio, Najarala, Seltas Queen/Seltas (they count as they same monster), Zamtrios and Plesioth. Wilds already has a ton of monster variety in its roster but I would love to see it be even more diverse with monster species. More birds, the return of snake wyverns, a piscine wyvern as we haven't seen one for wilds yet, the Seltas they're way too cool to leave behind, and Zamtrios because I miss him immensely. Chatacabra is a cute Amphibian and all but Rise/Sunbreak already broke my heart by having Zamites and no Zamtrios.
Fantastic list with excellent reasons I wholeheartedly agree with seeing more diverse monster species. I think Wilds will have a pretty decent roster as far as depth goes. I just don’t see it having less than 30-40 monsters off the rip!
Yup yup it could just be base, but now that we have this whole herd mechanic she could just always have 2-3 seltas with her. I could also see an early game hunt that calls for killing a seltas, but you have to separate it from the queen in order to get it done.
There's lots of monsters that need to return, ones that haven't been seen in a long time, like Najarala and Malfestio, of course we can't forget Lagiacrus
Brother you got two of my favorite monsters on there, Plesioth and Agnaktor, but I need me some Diablos and Yian Garuga too. If they do add Plesioth back, they're going to have to add topple mechanics on its legs, just so we can hit the head/belly. And I'm gonna need that Glacial Agnaktor Switch Axe cuz that design is dope. And even though I'm not too big a fan of it, I kinda hope Rajang comes back for no other reason than the armor. I love mixing the low/high/G armors of Rajang and Furious
Oh yea Glacial Agnaktor could also work similarly with the ice map’s inclemency period! Yea if Plesioth’s legs were shorter his fight would get SO much better.
A monster even many vets have never experienced, the great living hunting horn wyvern, Poborubarumu. Also known as the Creation Sound Wyvern, a flying wyvern that was introduced in Frontier who had the unique mechanic to hypnotize hunters with its song and force you into a dance, but could also use it's creation song to raise his defense, damage, or metabolism, the song of Poborubarumu creating thunderous shockwaves that throws hunters away from it, but if you AREN'T thrown away from Pobo or are up against Pobo when the final shockwave erupts from the massive whale wyvern, you're able to be buffed by Pobo as well, with its metabolism song giving you a very strong constant heal, it could also create sound waves that could practically liquify the ground beneath it, allowing it to burrow and swim underground much like the Blos pair and Gravios/Basarios, I think Poborubarumu would be a PERFECT monster for the Windward Plains, making it capable of burrowing through the sandy dunes of the Windward Plains, it would also be an amazing interaction with turf wars if a Poborubarumu who was defeated by the target of your hunt show up later on to give you a buff out of spite having been chased off before, it would be an amazing and creative display of intelligence in a monster and Poborubarumu himself is such a cool monster with the unique Sound element, one of several combined elements featured in Frontier including Light (Thunder Fire), Dark (Ice Dragon), Tenshou (Water Thunder Fire), and Frozen Seraphim (Fire Dragon Ice), with the Sound Element being Water and Ice, Poborubarumu would be a great monster to use as a way to reintroduce the combined elements, and would open the way to bringing back the other monsters who possessed these combined elements
A sound whale does sound amazing and if we do get Qurupeco he could be the low level version of a sound monster to help players come to grips with how the song mechanics work!
I’d personally love to see Zamtrios come back, since we basically got edged in rise with them putting his literal children in. I’d also be down to see monoblos come back instead of diablos for a change, since I doubt we’ll ever get both in a game without one getting a complete makeover
A neat concept for a monoblos subspecies could also be one where their horns evolved to function similarly to the lightning rods we see in the windward plains.
Great picks for both I'm loving the lightning rod Monoblos idea! Zamtrios would be an amazing return especially because we have larger maps so the fat mode will fit even better on these big maps!
Total agreement with your opinion on this list, only thing I add to it is ... Some chance of seeing Frontier Monsters in the roster, and it can be any type of them from Brute Wyvern, Flying Wyvern, etc. would LOVE to be introduced to some of them, their biology and culture I feel fits very well with what is building in Wilds gameplay thus far!
I would love the Orugarons but as pack animals instead. So if there is a mountain or snowy region, having a wolf-like pack of them coming at you to hunt you down would be amazing.
I've made a video recently calling for Akura Vashimu to show up in Wilds! Especially now that we can carry two weapons having the ability to actually break everything the way you need to could be much easier than it was before!
Considering we've already seen monsters with the leviathan skeleton, it's actually possible they come back, so lagi and agnaktor would be a welcome addition. I could also see the monsters who rely on sand due to the focus on it in this game, so nibelsnarf and jhen mohran. I also think some monsters who have been absent for a while despite being solid should come back, like najarala, zamtrios, and tetsucabra.
I feel you! I’m having a hard time seeing Jhen in this game for reasons I’ll get into soon in another video. All the other monsters you mentioned would be amazing though. Even if we don’t get base Lagiacrus since there is no swimming I’d welcome Ivory since that’s the one that does best on land.
Plesioth is one of the best of the MH1 monsters, up there with gravios and gypceros, so you're very right for including it here actually :) Its size is part of the appeal to me so I'd hope they wouldn't shrink it down too much, but I would be fine with a slightly lower stature if that's what it took to have it back. Something I've thought about before and really hope they do if plesioth returns is to add a splash effect to the hipcheck , so it remains a big attack and carries on the legacy in perhaps a more sensible way lol (even if it's only while standing in deeper water, or does less damage than the physical attack itself). They definitely need to keep its interaction with frogs and sonic bombs, but I can understand if it spends less time in the water in general; probably for the best if we can't go in after it. The rest of this list is good too though, I'm really hoping for qurupeco, seltas queen and agnaktor in particular. It's been far too long since qurupeco has been included and it's simply too high quality of a monster to pass over again, especially for how well it'd work in wilds. Kind of a wonder how we've managed to go so long without it if you ask me. Seltas queen is a great and unique upper tier monster, and stench is a good status that's quite underutilized. It even skipped world altogether! I'd love to see how sophisticated the interactions between the seltas and queen could be in a modern game, and having multiple seltas around at once could be difficult to balance, but an interesting challenge if done well. Agnaktor is just cool all around and easily one of my favourite fire monsters and leviathans. The armour mechanic is already good as is, but I like your ideas for it being affected by the inclemency and giving it some sort of buff while its hot too, so it's not *only* a boon to the player. Personally I feel pretty optimistic that agnaktor will be included, it seems like a waste to create the drilling leviathan animations for balahara and then not implement agnaktor. I really hope they'll add glacial too, it's gotta be one of the best subspecies in the series. Duramboros is another on my wishlist, I think it'd be great if it could have more detailed interactions with the environment. Having it knock trees over to eat or to extend the reach of its attacks would be a sight to behold for sure, and I can imagine it getting into some awesome turf wars too. Even just seeing it sitting down and blending into its surroundings would be pretty sweet. There's also the possibility of more frontier monsters being in the mix, and if they do go that route I think pariapuria, gurenzeburu and taikun zamuza would be good picks from there. Espinas is plenty welcome to show up again too. I will also of course always advocate for gigginox, though I'm a bit concerned about the odds considering we've seen the hammer preview set is poison equipment with a vaguely creepy aesthetic already. Maybe gigginox could co-exist with whatever the new poison monster is, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, I worry that if it doesn't make wilds it might mean that it's going to be gone for good. Of course it being my favourite monster I am thoroughly biased, but I do think it's the best poison monster they've made and it'll be quite sad if it never gets a chance for more of its potential to be realized with modern ai, graphics and so on. It's certainly not lacking in quality, so I'm really not sure why it hasn't managed to escape its debut generation. At least gobul has the excuse of needing water combat to be good :p There's plenty more I could mention, but I'll probably be fairly content with the returning roster so long as it mostly consists of monsters that skipped gen 5. I'm fine with a few rise and world representatives, nergigante seems likely and I'd be happy to see almudron or bishaten, but I would prefer them to focus more on the monsters that haven't managed to receive a modern incarnation yet. I'll save my thoughts on the big guys when you do your video on them, I'm looking forward to it!
Whew what a comment! I'm glad you're resonating with the picks! I'd love Duramboros and Gigginox as well I've mentioned them in other videos here on the channel! I'm thinking that the hammer will come from the bigger version of the mosquito monster they showcased on twitter. Gigginox could return in the same way that we got Crimson Glow Valstrax which is to say we could get the variant/subspecies without the original. This way we could get Baleful Gigginox as a thunder weapon while it fulfills Khezu's niche.
I wish for more unique yet underrated monsters to come back. Nibelsnarf, Malfestio, Bishaten, or even Lightienna from Online (yes, i know it belongs to Tencent and not Capcom) are examples. Congalala is already coming back, and to me he falls into that category
With Nergigante I could see it this way: If you slay an Elder and don't carve in those 60 seconds, there's a chance Nergigante would show up to steal it, but this way, you've now spawned in a Nergigante into your world which you can now hunt, or just make it have turf wars or whatever. Def a good addition. I also like the idea of it flying around with Elders on it's mouth, we know it's entire thing is just being physically strong so it could def do that. And it would also fix that whole issue with having the title of "eater of elders, as, it's true that: We've only seen him hunt for dying Elders. The entire point of the Elder Crossing was him just trying to get a bag out of Xeno'Jiiva calling in dying Elders. P.S: I don't think that should be the only way for Nergigante to spawn in, it should have a chance to appear naturally.
Yea I'd love to see the eaters of elders being reflected via gameplay mechanics. Having him fly around with a whole ass Elder in its mouth or hands would cement just how much raw power Nergigante has.
11:56 I actually thing that’s a really good idea. we get a fated four quest and have to travel to four different regions to hunt them. A rain forest area for mizutsune, a jungle for glavenus, a grassy plains for astalos, and a snowy mountain region for Gammoth.
For me i only really have 3 that i wanna see in these graphics (mention that i unfortunately have only played a little bit of GU on switch, thats the oldest game o have played) 1: Dalamadir - i would love to fight this thing, a giant snake would terrifying in this game. 2: Glavenus - as i played world to fatalis, glav was my first fave monster, and would love to see him again. 3: Valstrax - is my all time fave monster, from his design, to his theme, and to his supermove. Also HOW INSANE would it be to see valstrax just cruising in the air then suddenly plummeting towards your location. Favourite monster I wish i grew up with this series, i dont know a lot of the older monsters. Although i do know gammoth, and would like to see him ingame :)
Good picks! I’m actually gonna talk about Dalamadur in a video here pretty soon! Glavenus is my favorite of the fated four and Valstrax is always nuts in which ever game he’s in! It’s not too late to jump into a classic game you could probably beat it while you wait for Wilds to release!
I want kecha wacha and nerscylla back, they were both fun early games monsters to fight and they could get reworked movesets to interact with their new areas.
For me it would be, Gigginox, Malfestio and Ivory Lagiacrus. There are others but this is the top of my list. I am curious, what are your thoughts on adding subspecies adjectives to base species? Such as making base Lagiacrus into Sapphire Lagiacrus, Qurupeco into Emerald(or just green) Qurupeco, Agnaktor into Volcanic Agnatkor or Nargacuga into Common Nargacuga. Personally I think this makes them easier to refer to then specifying base species when one is talking about the base species and saying the species name on its own becomes a way to refer to all members. Additionally this should make the world feel more real as it is more in line with real world naming convention. It could even help establish the concept of greater ranges, such as having New World Nargacuga be a subspecies.
That is a great top 3 tbh I've spoken about them all before in videos separate from this one. That naming convention would be nice if they started with it, but at this point 20 years into the series its kind of late to introduce that kind of naming convention on some of the older monsters.
Thanks for watching! Let me ask you a follow up question since you've likely haven't hunted most of these monsters. How much did the footage help you get a feel for the monster I was talking about?
Jhen Mohren and Dah’ren Mohren would be amazing given a lot of desert shown so far. I miss those fights and having them with the new mechanics would be amazing! Also my favorite monsters of all time were Ukanlos and Akantor so they better add those too
Ah not possible since we don't have underwater combat. Ceadeus, Dire Miralis, and Abyssal Lagiacrus are automatically out due to that fact. There is always the expansion though!
@@Jaycan we definitely are of similar minds, I've sat at work and had thought the exact same justification for Quoropeco and Seltas Queen as you did in the video lol
True! I'm showing my westerner colors by not saying it. I played the OG tri here in the states then bought 3U on WiiU when it came out since it was the next game I had access to! I do wish we got Portable 3rd at the time here in the states, but it was a different time then. Monster Hunter has grown so much since then! I'm glad we don't have to wonder if we're getting localizations anymore haha.
It really is insane that they managed to fit Dalamadur into a 3DS game like MH4. I’d like to see him return too but I’m skeptical. I’ll go into why in a future video!
I hope one of the maps will boast a huge monster that has a rare Chance to naturally spawn and you can fight it while it keeps strolling through putting you on a tight timer until it leaves the map, and the enviorment is shaped according to it. Basically a cooler and more active Zorah fight that isn't waiting for 30 minutes to do anything of note. It also doesn't need to be THAT big, of course, but something larger than most normal monsters would be cool.
Bulldrome and make him able to combo attacks with his bullfango herd 😈 I think I agree with Gammoth and Seltas Queen the most. Even tho Gammoth is my least favourite among the Fated Four, i still quite enjoy her and I wanna see how they're gonna improve her if she came back. While Seltas Queen and her partner, I really enjoy fighting them and their gear too. Sick mecha armor, sick drill weapons, and GL skill sets. Also, more cool bug monsters
Oh god a whole herd of bulldrome! I’m glad you’re resonating with some of my picks. I didn’t even consider the sick ass drill weapons and armor I focused more on the fight and the possibility of her interacting with the herd mechanics!
@@Jaycan yeah I focused more on the gear since its no longer gender locked and I really miss its gear, especially the G rank versions. They even gave the mech armor shoulder cannons for the G rank gunner version
I was honestly surprised Quropeco wasn’t in either World or Rise given that with the open maps and more large monsters on them at a time it would have been prime real estate for its gimmick. That said it could be even better in Wilds. If the map is open and seamless, I want to see some of the nomad monsters so we can perhaps chart their course and follow them around the world. Let me trail a Deviljho as it blazes a trail of destruction through one ecosystem after another, or join in on Banbaro’s world tour.
I like the idea of Qurupeco being brought back. I was thinking on how you could make it make some sense and at first I had trouble with this because, how could you make Qurupeco actually take advantage of calling other monsters? If Qurupeco is calling for some monsters, why wouldn't the monsters attack it instead? Imagine he makes the sound of a young Doshaguma calling for help, when the pack arrives all they'll see is a random bird close to where the youngling was yelling, they'd just assume the Qurupeco was the problem, as the hunter is an ant, they wouldn't think the hunter did anything unless the Doshagumas recognize hunters as a bigger threat. I thought of some ways you could go around this issue. Qurupeco will call for whatever monster however many times they want (should be more than once so it's more realistic), once the monsters arrive Qurupeco will start making noises those monsters would make, to confuse the monsters into thinking Qurupeco is one of them. Now from here you could: 1. Make it a temporary thing and after awhile they'll realize Qurupeco isn't one of them and either leave or start attacking everyone. or 2. Once they arrive, Qurupeco will start either hiding somewhere or run off and start making distress calls, making them think the Hunter is the issue. Idk how a big ahh monster like Qurupeco could hide tho, I supposed it could start flying up in the air somewhere where it can't be immediately seen? Not sure. The calls he makes could be a case to case thing. Imagine he makes a Rathian distress call if there's a Rathalos in the area or viceversa if there's Rathian. However, I think Qurupeco should only be able to call for Monsters that are already present in the area. It'd def be a cool monster to add cuz of how chaotic it'd be.
I like the idea of Qurupeco making the noises of the monsters after they show up to confuse the monsters and keep them from attacking the Qurupeco itself.
Amazing picks! I'm hoping for a Snake Wyvern flagship actually! With that Najarala should come as well to help bridge the old with the new when it comes to Snake Wyverns!
I'd be fine if Gammoth was edited just a bit to be not quite so huge that its clipping things. Still double the size of other Popo at least, but it doesn't need to be so huge as it was before. I just want a super cool mammoth herding queen that is fiercely protective, and they could have awesome herd wars with Doshaguma in a snowy area. (Because honestly Doshaguma looks really odd in a desert region with all the fuzz, it looks like it should only hunt at night and sleep in caves all day due to the heatstroke it would get in the desert sun. I see it more as a snowy terrain monster naturally.)
Gammoth might be able to be just as big as she was now that the maps are on average 2-3x the size of Worlds maps. I could see them having nice big open zones that can easily support Gammoth. A heard of Gammoth sounds terrifying actually!
Some good ones in your list. Definitely with you on Nergigante, Agnaktor, and the Seltas and Queen. I am more skeptical of Gammoth. Yeah, Wilds looks to be the best chance Gammoth has had for returning, but I just don't think it was that good of a fight to begin with. Updating it will be hard to make really engaging. For monsters I specifically want to see return, Malfestio is top of the list. The jester owl is the best Bird Wyvern by a mile, and I would love to have it back, especially if we got anything like its Nightcloak Deviant as a bonus. From the initial trailers, I think it could fit into the Scarlet Forest as a tricky threat and lesser predator. Next up, Seregios. Yes, we just had it in Sunbreak. I don't care. The Windward Plains look like a fantastic place to fight Seregios. It got such a fun fight in Sunbreak, I want more of it. It's already an extremely agile flyer so watching it take advantage of the wild wind surges would be really cool and could crank up its fight even more. Finally, another very recent monster... Goss Harag. Excellent fight, great design, and seeing it interact more with the world would be really cool. I kinda just want to follow Goss from a distance with the ghillie mantle, just watching it go all Jason across the snowy/mountain region I assume we'll be getting. Also, Goss Harag got totally robbed with no subspecies or variant and Wilds (along with its eventual MR expansion) could correct that extreme disappointment.
I feel you! When I look at what Capcom has done for Fatalis, Alatreon, Amatsu, Rise Rathalos, and Rise Kushala Daora. I don't doubt Capcom's ability to creatively revisit a monster to make it much better while retaining its identity. Loving all the monsters you put here I've mentioned all three of them in others videos before! Seregios needs some kind of Sub or Variant after all this time! Goss Harag I feel the same way give him a sub or variant as well!
My top 10 monsters I want to see are in no particular order. Almudron - He would just be really good to see just based on the whole terrain manipulation it fits well alongside the whole very interactable world of Wilds with the mud mounds, and he's just really cool visually. In my opinion the coolest new monster from Rise. Gammoth - I think it's time for her to come back, it's weird that ALL the Fated Four have come back but not the last member of the group, again my opinion. Lagiacrus - pretty much the same reason everybody wants him back and for good reason. Quropeco - just makes sense in every facet you could explain it for obvious reason. Gigginox- It is without a fucking doubt Khezu's design idea just done infinitely better. I will not discuss this it just is what it is lol. Seltas Queen - simply just an awesome bug monster that deserves to come back. That I can 100% see having some really fun interactions with other monsters in Turf Wars. Duramboros - I see being immediately popular with newer players like it was with Vet hunters. He's just so silly and over the top I really want to see how they modernize him. Pokaradon - it's penguin Seal... do I even need to say more? Lol Mizutsune - just love Mizu in every game it's in and it has one of the most unique gameplay mechanics in the series Garangolm - He's just an awesome monster, easily my favorite of the Sunbreak flagships, and he can serve as a nice higher end challenge. To Chatacabra with the arm armor mechanics they both share.
Good list! How would you feel if we got Ivory Lagi instead of base Lagi since there is no swimming combat in the game. Duramboros would be awesome I’d love to land a counter move as he’s landing after his helicopter launch move! Oh yea Garangolm could comeback since we already have Chata doing his sticky arm thing.
@@Jaycan I'd be fine with Ivory but realistically Ivory would only come if base Lagi came along too. Honestly we could actually see base Lagiacrus in the Wilds pretty easily if some of the terrain from the Crimson Forest is anything to go off of. The bit where we see Doshaguma fighting the hunter in the Forest shows A LOT of water in the surrounding area. Perfect for any leviathan monster but even more so a crocodilian like Lagi. It seems very open and wide as well so like no issues with clipping either.
You surprised me with these decisions you've picked, your really thinking these monsters out. I really think akantor is going to be in WILDS,I heard another channel discussing him recent,I feel like he will fit into this game very well. I really want regular, then Savage Deviljho, and Nergiganta,he's one of my favorite fights and monster.
Oh for sure! Now that I've seen a lot more of the game it make its more fun to actually think about new mechanics and how they can translate to improving monsters we already have!
Primordial Malzeno that never gets Qurio would fit so well and feel so different. I’d live to see it even if it ends up just being in the Master Rank expansion.
Man without underwater combat its not gonna feel right, but they have a LITTLE bit of swimming in Wilds already so maybe the Master Rank expansion will have the full blow thing!
By the games end maybe in the expansion I’d like to see the top 3 poll winners in game zinogre nergi and valstrax that would be great, but the one monster I’d like is a event open world Lao-Shan Lung I love the old mountain dragon and think he could be great if the fight were reworked
It could happen! We've seen a lot of Zinodgre lately so I wouldn't mind if it sat out this one. I'll actually talk about Lao in a video here pretty soon, so look out for that one!
I want to see Alatreon or a variant where the devs lean into us carrying 2 weapons mechanic with 2 different elements. I think that would be a fun challenge.
Qurupeco is also in MHST and MHST2 and plus it should be a high rank or master rank monster in monster hunter wilds because of its call, and the charge blade would be so effective against Agnaktor if he's in the game. Gammoth and Nergigante should return also! Leviathans should mainly be in the game because balahara, agnaktor, mizutsune, and almudron are leviathans.
That’s true I was focusing on the main MH games tho! It could work as a low rank monster too though since Quru by himself isn’t that much of a threat, but in Hi and Master rank you can have him call other monsters more often!
@@Jaycan True, yes. I'm gonna talk about Gammoth here, how she could return is making her a little smaller so she wouldn't take up space on the map and you can move freely to your hearts content!
I know it's never gonna happen but I REALLY wanna see nakarkos in a game other than generations. I love generations but it's hard to go back to the old games after experiencing the qol of world and rise
Lagi and Agnaktor would be nice. Other than that. I take what I get. I prefer completely new monsters over the old ones. Maybe some Frontier ones would be interesting too.
Gods Harag would be amazing. Kind of a shame he didn’t get a subspecies or variant, but it’s not too late! Magnamalo would be dope, but I wonder how they would rework hellfire blight.
The new spider lala barrina shares nercyllas body frame so that gives me hope of her return. And though i dont think they would do it just because its not as popular as other monsters, but i want seltas queen back or at least a new neopteron monster. Also just to get it out there i hope that if they add biom specific monsters like odogoron they do like they did with valstrax in rise and bring the subspecies rather then the type species. Vale odogron or something like coral puke puki is just too region specific for me to be ok with there return.
I'm hoping they actually reunite all the spiders. I'd love new Neopterons since that class is so under represented. Hmmm yea I see what you mean by Odogaron and Coral Pukei being very region specific, but I can see how Odogaron could thrive in the underground tunnels of the Windward plains by scavenging on things that died up top and fell below the sands. Coral could work on a map like Jungle from Sunbreak/MH Dos.
@Jaycan ya, that's what i mean by subspecies. I would be fine with ebony odogoron coming back since it's not region locked. Vale odogoron only leaves the vale to scavenge and lives entirely in the vale. So unless they make another rotten vale, I don't see a way base odogoron could return in a way that makes sense and is not shoe horned.
I really want to see more new monsters than returning this time, maybe bring a few over from frontier also. If they had to bring some monsters over i want monsters that were rarely used like gigginox, and the snake wyvern category and Maybe malfestio, wilds takes place in the new world i wouldnt mind seeing nergigante returning on taking the new elder dragons
I like the way you think! I didn’t mention Gigginox here since I’ve had videos in the past where I’ve voiced how much I want Gigginox to come back already. Same with Malfestio tbh. Wilds takes place in the Forbidden Lands which I think is separate from both the New World and Old World I think. I could be wrong though. I think of it like New World(Americas) Old World (Europe) Forbbiden Lands (Australia).
@@Jaycan Yo if wilds is in fact based on Australia and Africa imagine what kind of monsters they could come up with!! Like a giant kangaroo/ground sloth type monster, and a camel spider monster, Australia is known for their various snakes, spiders, and huge Insects, the possibilities are endless!
Ok prepare for a big one here I would say it depends on if we are in the new or old world or a new continent entelry but generally speaking it goes like this for me First if the core cast which I consider to be the ones who return almost every game which is mostly flagships and a couple others, so the rathian/rathalos, diablos, the phydo wyvern trio Tigrex, Barioth, nargacuga, zinogre, brachydios, barroth, the Invader trio deviljho, Bazelgeuse and rajang, the dos dragons Kirin, teostra, kushala and Chemelos and of course nergigante, there's a couple others like Seregios, Lagiacrus, velkhana that should be part if the core cast they just haven't yet but I want those guys I really want to return Now outside of them I have my own personal favourites I want to see The dromes Great jaggi Kulu ya ku Yian kut ku and garuga Qurupeco Malfestio Hypnocatrice Monoblos Basarios/Gravious Espinas Gigginox pariapuria Plesioth Daymio hermitar, shogun ceanataur Akura vashimu Congalala, Blangonga Goss harag Gogomoa Gammoth Kecha wacha Kamu and nono orugaron Tobi kadachi Anjanath Duramboros Banbaro (keep on ice map pls) Abiorugu Royle ludroth Somnacath Gobul (if they could make him work) Agnaktor Baruragaru Dodogama Najarala Nerscyla and Gypceros Seltes Queen Tetucabra Tetranadon Zamtrios Rukadiora And I know you said to not include Akantor and ukanlos but I would like to see them in normal maps interacting with the environment and other monsters rather then being split off, some for Odibatorasu I know this a pretty this is a insane list and if I included my favourite seige and final boss monsters it would be even larger, but these are the monsters I want to see the most and then of course there's a discussion on what monsters fit what maps really well and you could bring in all the subspecies, variants and deviants and if you could have subspecies without the base but keeping the discussion to just base monsters this in my dream wishlist including what I called the core cast
Dude this is MASSIVE. What a list that’s basically an entire roster of monsters. Idk I’m really struggling to see monsters like Ukanlos and Akantore just out there on the map like some regular monsters when they are a cut above. I plan on making an entirely separate video on this of course. Thank you for this super in-depth list I can’t wait to see how much of your list comes true!
@@Jaycan I do know that I more then likely won't get my full wishlist but I decided in for a penny in for a pound might as well go for my absolute dream wishlist, but yeah I know it's a huge list lol
Right?! We can rectify that here in this game with the actual gameplay or seeing the aftermath of an encounter by having Nergi carry dead Elders around as he roams the map in search of a place to properly enjoy his meal!
i just hope we get some nice and fast monsters to match the increase in speed the hunter seems to be getting. Ones like Odogaron or (non-world) Nargacuga.
I feel that Valstrax would do amazing in this type of interconnected map. Imagine getting ambushed from the Scarlet Forest while you’re in the Windward Plains. You’ve got to frantically look around to see him in the sky then time your Superman dive!
I like this list! plenty of variety, an excellent mix of old and new! Do I think it'll come true exactly as it is? probably not, but this would make for an excellent roster if this is what we end up getting!
A great list! Then we could get rare species Espinas in the Master Rank expansion. Goss would be amazing and now it could get a chance at a subspecies and Odogaron is just great as is!
If there are proper seamless zone transitions, they could have it to where you fight him normally for a bit to wear him down, and then he tries to transfer zones through an established passage that would be a siege fight. And then you could fight the final phase of the fight as a normal hunt in the next zone.
Yes I’ve championed for Gigginox to come back in other videos, so I didn’t want to bring him up here again. I want to see that disgusting poisonous egg sac laying MF in 4K!
I would like to see new and rarely used monsters. Taking monsters from 5th generation and pushing them forward seems lazy. No nergi plz. Later on as dlc content ok fine but plz not for the main game
@@houseofthehuntinghorn1433 I agree most monster need to be new in the newer games. adding returning does helps with variety. Will say wilds might have biggest starting roster in the series. In Rurikhan interview we still haven't seen any returning monster in marketing yet. Monster Hunter Dev have said the only monster there not going show the one tied to the main story
"Monster Hunter Dev have said the only monster there not going show the one tied to the main story" I've got to watch that interview. Are they saying they're going to show the entire roster except for one monster again?
I do understand this line of thinking. Nergi as Title Update 1 would also make sense if the mechanics I'd like for him to have take a bit more work then go for that!
Actually I do think Gypceros would work pretty well. Especially with how quests don't end with fan fare and a kick back to the lobby any more. They could play up the fake outs with the quest complete splash screen. That combined with how corpses are actual objects now and not something we just clip through anymore.
Honestly, I personally don't want Plesioth added to the game. To me it's just a meme monster due to it's unnecessarily large hit box from it's hip check move. Queropeco is only okay to add if Devil Jho is returning as well. I would also love to see Nibbelsnarf return. Agnaktor is an ify pick imo. I personally want to see Brachydios return and possibly Rakna Kadaki. I have been wanting Gammoth to return ever since my time playing World and being upset she wasn't added with Iceborn. I don't really have much to say about Seltas and Seltas Queen. I only really fought them once. Nergigante I can only see them adding if he somehow plays a role in the story. Something like, "The once fiercesome Nergigante meets a foe that strikes fear into the heart of the Elder Eater." Which part of me doubts since that monster would have to be a flag ship monster and Ray Dou, who I think fits that role, is already confirmed to not be the flag ship monster.
Appreciate you commenting! I do want Jho to return as well I mentioned it in the opposite video of this one. I do want all the spiders to be in a single game so I'd love Rakna Kadaki as well tbh. The Nergigante reasoning is kinda meh they add flagships all the time even if they serve little to no role in the story. We just got Sunbreak with Magalas, but they didnt mention the Frenzy Virus at all.
@@Jaycan I'm pretty sure the only reason why they brought back the Magalas was to show that the Qurios causing monsters to be frenzied was angering the Magalas. The way I saw it was they were fighting for dominance but were losing and the Qurios somehow were negating the Frenzied Virus and causing monsters to rampage their way.
Listen, if he isnt in base game, its ok. But Tetsucabra NNEEEEEEDDDDSSSSS to come back! Him and/or zamtrios 11:57 "The Four Beasts of Fate" would go hard
It'd be cool to see nergigante as like how deviljho and rajang as being a invader and there different versions of nergi that has fed on elder dragons like a fire versions that fed on a teostra or a ice versions from valkana a and super one like high star one the managed to feed on fatalis
Oh that would be wild. I do think the time to do that was in IB where he was a flagship. I’d rather they do something like that for this game’s flagship. I do love the idea that Nergi changes based on what he’s eaten!
@@Jaycanjust imagine truly pale and somewhat translucent. It's grab would swallow then shit you out and anyone on the outside or your camera would be able to just barely make you out of your brightly colored or glowing or something. And then I want valstrax cuz it's just my favorite a jet engine dragon is awesome
It’s a symbiotic relationship with mold spores on its skin. Brachydios’ saliva has enzymes that speed up the reaction of the mold to make it more explosive.
Not gonna lie I’m sick of Rajang and the Dos trio of elders. Chameleos can stay because he wasn’t in World, but Telstra and Kushala could use a break. Also Rajang has been in every MH I’ve played except 3U and I find him very annoying, so he can die.
*Evil laughter*: "Gammoth herds"
LMFAO That would be insane and take up so much space on the map hahahaha
@@zawardo5909 lol that would be great maybe baby gammoths with a big momma would work better
HAHAHAHAHA!!! is evil laughter
Nergigante as an invader would be CRAZY amazing. He could come in once you finish the hunt or come in once you’ve substantially wounded the elder dragon.
Exactly my thoughts! Having him show up toward the end of a hunt to steal your kill just like he does in the World cutscenes!
The Quropeco idea you have im loving!!! Calling up the pack or the apex on a seamless map just sounds like itd be amazing!
There putting my ex into the video game because she was a real monster lol
@@Jaycan I see.
@@Jaycan agreed
Qurupeco is such a good monster with such a fun design, hje needs to come back, he's literally PERFECT for a seemeless/ open world game!
Tetsucabra is one i personaly wanna see again, i loved him in GU and his armor design is so good man, I need to see an HD render of it
Glad you agree! Tetsucabra would be awesome. I wanna see that Chatacabra Tetsucabra turf war too! Though I don’t doubt Chata will get DEMOLISHED!
Imagine the start of the plesioth quest: your suppose to go under water to get a material or something, you end up coming face to face with a plesioth. Now it’s chasing you as you’re both rushing to the surface.
YESSSSS let’s do it! It would feel like such a tease for those that want underwater hunting to come back though!
@@Jaycan I’m just tired of running up on him near a body of water and patiently waiting for him to jump out because we can’t go in.
imagining a Qurupeco calling in a Rey Dau and then getting smoked by the lightning cannon attack as collateral damage
Lmao I could see it for sure. Could also be a thing where the other monsters are completely tricked by his sounds and don’t attack him at all too! Then the hunter is getting double teamed!
@@Jaycan I meant it as the Rey Dau is shooting at the hunter and the Qurupeco just gets caught in the blast
I want multiple invading monsters that could potentially invade at the same time. It would be awesome to see Bazel and Valstrax both invade or just give variety so being invaded isn't always the same
I want them to make another new invader one thats either a Neopteron or a Snake Wyvern along with one or two of the old invaders as well!
@@Jaycan new to me!
I really want to see malfestio in wilds
A popular owl here in this comment section! I’ve mentioned Malfestio in another video, so I’d don’t want to bring him up here again so soon!
Aganaktor, the clack clack clack man himself, ABSOLUTELY needs to come back (and if I could have a wish, Gammoth would make a trumpeting return too Capcom pls)
Great video!
Alright, just actually finished listening to the whole video and damn dude, it’s like you just wrote out my entire mental wishlist I’ve had for this game lmao
Every single one of them (other than Plesioth but I’ll give you and it a chance) is exactly what I’ve been hoping and praying for out of Wilds and god DAMN do I hope we are right.
Still, great video!
Dude its awesome to hear you resonated so much with the video. Thanks so much for watching and supporting the content!
I fully agree with Plesioth if not a new variant/subspecies. I honestly want to see new subspecies in general more adapted to the harsh environments of Wilds
Interesting do we have any monsters that have two subspecies? We already have Green Plesioth, but another subspecies would do amazing!
@@Jaycan Outside of like Frontier I am not sure but It would be cool to see another.
I feel like the portable team will want to save the fated four reunion for the next game after Wilds. I agree about Gammoth coming back though, it just makes sense.
Iceborne: Glavenus
Rise: Mizutsune
Sunbreak: Astalos
Wilds: Gammoth
Ah yes that makes sense! They can use the new power of whatever Nintendo’s next handheld is to get the sizes right for Gammoth!
Seltas Queen is legit perfect for this game.
Don't add her it's just illigal.
The Queen with her swarm of Seltas!
I really hope Ukanlos and Akantor show up, and when they do they bring the inclemency with them for the duration of their presence.
I'm gonna talk about them in a new video here pretty soon! I want to see them, but they might feel VERY VERY different than their previous showings.
a yes, the infamous hyperspace tackle...
Yup I'm ready to counter them and PUNISH Plesioth for even doing it!
Stench is a really underused status. I think we could get a seltas queen subspecies that has multiple seltas.
FACTS! I mentioned Najarala in the old version of this video titled "Monster I want to see in Monster Hunter 6"
Just checked out Malfestio... dude that thing looks sick. I love the idea of an owl monster.
@@JaycanLooking forward to it!
Plesioth is one of the best of the MH1 monsters, up there with gravios and gypceros, so you're very right for including it here actually :)
Its size is part of the appeal to me so I'd hope they wouldn't shrink it down too much, but I would be fine with a slightly lower stature if that's what it took to have it back.
At least gobul has the excuse of needing water combat to be good :p
There's plenty more I could mention, but I'll probably be fairly content with the returning roster so long as it mostly consists of monsters that skipped gen 5.
A Gammoth vs Fulgur Anjanath would go hard in a turf war NGL
Oh that sounds NUTS!
11:56 I actually thing that’s a really good idea. we get a fated four quest and have to travel to four different regions to hunt them. A rain forest area for mizutsune, a jungle for glavenus, a grassy plains for astalos, and a snowy mountain region for Gammoth.
It would take a while given how big the maps are supposed to be this go around, but damn I think it would be so fun!
For me i only really have 3 that i wanna see in these graphics (mention that i unfortunately have only played a little bit of GU on switch, thats the oldest game o have played)
1: Dalamadir - i would love to fight this thing, a giant snake would terrifying in this game.
Favourite monster
I wish i grew up with this series, i dont know a lot of the older monsters.
I feel that especially now that we’ve had two new Temnocerans since the OG Neewcylla. This could be the game with the most spider variety!
I'm new to MH as of Rise so all of these sounded absolutely AWESOME to me lol
Thanks for watching! Let me ask you a follow up question since you've likely haven't hunted most of these monsters. How much did the footage help you get a feel for the monster I was talking about?
Jhen Mohren and Dah’ren Mohren would be amazing given a lot of desert shown so far. I miss those fights and having them with the new mechanics would be amazing!
Also my favorite monsters of all time were Ukanlos and Akantor so they better add those too
I'm actually planning on mentioning ALL of those in the future video that I mentioned at the beginning of this video!
4:59 bro erased Portable 3rd from existence 😭😭😭
I’m a westerner lol I never played it since it never came over. I got Tri on OG release then bough 3U when it dropped 😭
I want every single monster in this game. Every. Single. One.
Ah not possible since we don't have underwater combat. Ceadeus, Dire Miralis, and Abyssal Lagiacrus are automatically out due to that fact. There is always the expansion though!
If Tencent gives Capcom the rights/owning properties for the Monster Hunter Online Monsters I would love to see Caeserber come back!
Yea those dudes are tied up via the legal system! Never heard of the monster you just mentioned I’m gonna look it up after writing this comment!
My top 5 monsters I want back are Agnaktor, Quoropeco, Espinas, Seltas/Seltas Queen and Gravios
Oh yea we're of similar minds! Gravios would be very interesting to see after all this time as well!
@@Jaycan we definitely are of similar minds, I've sat at work and had thought the exact same justification for Quoropeco and Seltas Queen as you did in the video lol
Btw qurupeco was also in portable 3rd along with his crimson subspecies.
Queropeco and Great Jaggi with his 3G theme. Also want to see Malfestio come back as well
Oh hell yes I agree! I've spoken about Malfestio in other older videos! Most recently my video on friendly fire.
Definitely wanna see Nergigante in wilds!!🔥
I'm glad you're resonating with my ideas!
Dalamadur would be sick i just loved that fight so much it was so revolutionary for me at the time id never seen a fight like that before
It really is insane that they managed to fit Dalamadur into a 3DS game like MH4. I’d like to see him return too but I’m skeptical. I’ll go into why in a future video!
I would love to see malfestio, such a cool design and concept
Oh hell yes I’m loving seeing Malfestio getting love in this comment section. I recently brought him up in the video I did about Friendly Fire.
I want Velkana back. He’s one of my favourite fights in all of monster hunter. I farmed him SO much in world. Like an unearthly amount.
Oh yea? I bet you were hype to see it come to Sunbreak too!
@@Jaycan I lost my mind lol. Absolutely love Velkhana.
plesioth with gen 6 hitboxes would be pretty cool ngl
You get me! Along with all of our new moves to deal with the hip checks. Yea, we'll be fine!
I’m actually planning on doing a video talking about this very subject here in the future. Having seen more of the game now it’s got my mind going!
Bulldrome and make him able to combo attacks with his bullfango herd 😈
I think I agree with Gammoth and Seltas Queen the most.
Oh hell yea I like where your heads at. We kind of already got that with Iceborne’s Guiding Lands but this will be on a whole next level of scale!
Now that they have leviathans working I want to see Narjala
Hell yes I'm actually really hoping for a Snake Wyvern Flagship as well!
Now from here you could:
1. Make it a temporary thing and after awhile they'll realize Qurupeco isn't one of them and either leave or start attacking everyone.
or
Kecha-Wacha and Najarala!!!!
Lol
Mizutsune - just love Mizu in every game it's in and it has one of the most unique gameplay mechanics in the series
Garangolm - He's just an awesome monster, easily my favorite of the Sunbreak flagships, and he can serve as a nice higher end challenge.
Id love to see magnamalo or malzeno again
Primordial Malzeno that never gets Qurio would fit so well and feel so different. I’d live to see it even if it ends up just being in the Master Rank expansion.
Nergigante in WILDS would be awesome as an invader.
Specifically an Elder invader!
I need to see my boy Lagiacrus Return
Man without underwater combat its not gonna feel right, but they have a LITTLE bit of swimming in Wilds already so maybe the Master Rank expansion will have the full blow thing!
@@Jaycan That’s what I’m hoping for, it won’t be as good without a full fledged underwater fight
They could do something like that for sure, but using another older monster that has yet to return think Shen Gaoran or Yama Tsukami!
Qurupeco is also in MHST and MHST2
and plus it should be a high rank or master rank monster in monster hunter wilds because of its call,
and the charge blade would be so effective against Agnaktor if he's in the game.
Oh that’s a video I plan on doing here pretty soon actually! I’m gonna talk about the he big “boss” monsters!
16:55 You bring up a great point. Nergigante should be the Elder dragon invader in Monster Hunter the same way Deviljho is
That would make a ton of sense for him no? I'd love to see that kind of mechanic implemented for him!
Lagi and Agnaktor would be nice. Other than that. I take what I get. I prefer completely new monsters over the old ones. Maybe some Frontier ones would be interesting too.
How would you feel if we got Ivory Lag but no base Lagi since we don’t have underwater combat in Wilds?
@@Jaycan well it’s still a Lagi. 😉
I hope that some Rise monsters make it in. Magnamalo is one of my favorite fights ever.
Ok prepare for a big one here
I would say it depends on if we are in the new or old world or a new continent entelry but generally speaking it goes like this for me
First if the core cast which I consider to be the ones who return almost every game which is mostly flagships and a couple others, so the rathian/rathalos, diablos, the phydo wyvern trio Tigrex, Barioth, nargacuga, zinogre, brachydios, barroth, the Invader trio deviljho, Bazelgeuse and rajang, the dos dragons Kirin, teostra, kushala and Chemelos and of course nergigante, there's a couple others like Seregios, Lagiacrus, velkhana that should be part if the core cast they just haven't yet but I want those guys I really want to return
Now outside of them I have my own personal favourites I want to see
The dromes
Great jaggi
Kulu ya ku
Yian kut ku and garuga
Qurupeco
Malfestio
Hypnocatrice
Monoblos
Basarios/Gravious
Espinas
Gigginox
pariapuria
Plesioth
Daymio hermitar, shogun ceanataur
Akura vashimu
Congalala, Blangonga
Goss harag
Gogomoa
Gammoth
Kecha wacha
Kamu and nono orugaron
Tobi kadachi
Anjanath
Duramboros
Banbaro (keep on ice map pls)
Abiorugu
Royle ludroth
Somnacath
Gobul (if they could make him work)
Agnaktor
Baruragaru
Dodogama
Najarala
Nerscyla and Gypceros
Seltes Queen
Tetucabra
Tetranadon
Zamtrios
Rukadiora
And I know you said to not include Akantor and ukanlos but I would like to see them in normal maps interacting with the environment and other monsters rather then being split off, some for Odibatorasu
I know this a pretty this is a insane list and if I included my favourite seige and final boss monsters it would be even larger, but these are the monsters I want to see the most and then of course there's a discussion on what monsters fit what maps really well and you could bring in all the subspecies, variants and deviants and if you could have subspecies without the base but keeping the discussion to just base monsters this in my dream wishlist including what I called the core cast
It's interesting how Nergigante didn't get to kill a single elder dragon in MHW
Shara was technically killed by Ruiner, but base Nergi really didn’t get to live up to his name
@@JoinTheVoidBecomeWhole yup.
And I mean, was Shara really killed by Ruiner? Not sure abt that
Right?! We can rectify that here in this game with the actual gameplay or seeing the aftermath of an encounter by having Nergi carry dead Elders around as he roams the map in search of a place to properly enjoy his meal!
@@Jaycan deviljho does run to eat a carcass whenever we kill a monster in World, odogaron carrys meat and whole legiana corpse, etc
i just hope we get some nice and fast monsters to match the increase in speed the hunter seems to be getting. Ones like Odogaron or (non-world) Nargacuga.
Yea I think it’ll all workout when we get to late Hi Rank. Low rank is going to feel nuts as we blaze through it with our new moves.
I want all these to and you had a point with them all
Thanks I’m glad you’re resonating with the picks! I could do these videos ALL DAY lol. There is so many I didn’t even mention in this one.
I agree with all of these, besides nergigante
5 out of 6 is not bad! I’ll take it!
Valstrax in wilds graphics would be cool, probably not in base wilds but in an update like alatreon
I feel that Valstrax would do amazing in this type of interconnected map. Imagine getting ambushed from the Scarlet Forest while you’re in the Windward Plains. You’ve got to frantically look around to see him in the sky then time your Superman dive!
I want to see Bulldrome back.
Oh lawd you want to see a pack of them chasing you down?!
Actually, here is the roster I want for Wilds:
- New Snake Wyvern
- New Carapaceon
- Aknosom
- Yian Kut-Ku
- Yian Garuga
- Gammoth
- Uragaan
- Duramboros
- Gigginox
- Qurupeco
- Bazelgeuse
- Goss Harag
- Banbaro
- Zamtrios
- Malfestio
- Seregios
- Agnaktor
- Gobul
- Nibelsnarf
- Kecha Wacha
- Tobi-Kadachi
- Dodogama
- Espinas
- Flaming Espinas
- Monoblos
- White Monoblos
- Lunagaron
- Garangolm
- Jyuratodus
- Beotodus
- Nergigante
- Velkhana
- Malzeno
- Chameleos
- Yama Tsukami
- Namielle
If that's too much, you can exclude some monsters on the list.
I like this list! plenty of variety, an excellent mix of old and new! Do I think it'll come true exactly as it is? probably not, but this would make for an excellent roster if this is what we end up getting!
Espinas, Namielle, Goss Harag and Odogaron!
A great list! Then we could get rare species Espinas in the Master Rank expansion. Goss would be amazing and now it could get a chance at a subspecies and Odogaron is just great as is!
Bringing back Lao but making him a proper battle would be epic. I love those weapons.
Oh you mean having Lao just out there on the map for you to run up and fight instead of a siege?
@@Jaycan exactly. Or it could have both.
If there are proper seamless zone transitions, they could have it to where you fight him normally for a bit to wear him down, and then he tries to transfer zones through an established passage that would be a siege fight. And then you could fight the final phase of the fight as a normal hunt in the next zone.
I think we're absolutely getting Agnaktor. Not sure about Lagi though.
Nercyla.... idk why but spider monsters just do it for me and the recent trailer has me hoping
I too have would love to have all the spiders in this game Rakna should already be in the engine. Lala is new and Nercylla would have to be remade.
Gimme Gigginox, they haven't been in a MH game since MH3U.
Yes I’ve championed for Gigginox to come back in other videos, so I didn’t want to bring him up here again. I want to see that disgusting poisonous egg sac laying MF in 4K!
Valstrax in glorious high res.
That would be a sight for sure wouldn't it!?
I would like to see new and rarely used monsters. Taking monsters from 5th generation and pushing them forward seems lazy. No nergi plz. Later on as dlc content ok fine but plz not for the main game
I mean... Gen 5 brought a good amount of 4 gen back
@@amvhate fair enough 👌. My point is that I just want some super rarely used and new monsters.
CHAMELEOS MY BOI and also dalamadur and that big sand whale fella
You mean Jhen Mohran?! Hell yea!
@@Jaycan Yes, that guy YEAAAAAAHHHHHHH
I will be the only one but i think a rework on gypceros will make it amazing
For those wanting plesioth back do you want to be hipchecked into oblivion?
Nah I’ll just hit it with a counter or offset attack. If I’m using a weapon with a shield that’s free power clashes. We gonna BEAT HIS ASS!
Nergigante has elder seal so he can eat other elder dragons. Also Val Hazak is the last elder dragon I think he would want to eat XD
Yup yup they could make an omage to Elder Seal in turf wars by having him partially shut down other Elders in their fights.
CAPCOM GIVE ME THE DURAMBOROS X GLAVENUS TURF WAR AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!
THE HAMMER VS THE SWORD HOOOOOOOOOO YESSSS!
Listen, if he isnt in base game, its ok. But Tetsucabra NNEEEEEEDDDDSSSSS to come back! Him and/or zamtrios
11:57 "The Four Beasts of Fate" would go hard
We gotta see the Tetsucabra and Chatacabra turf war! Glad you like my idea of the Fated Four reunion quest!
@@Jaycan THATS WHAT IM SAYINNGGGGG. Idk why but I just love the MH frogs. The fronge makea me happy
I want a Magnamalo vs Nergigante turf war tbh
Ohhhhh it might be possible! Who do you want to win that one?
@@Jaycan nerg first round
Scorned Magnamalo vs Nergigante as second round idk
It'd be cool to see nergigante as like how deviljho and rajang as being a invader and there different versions of nergi that has fed on elder dragons like a fire versions that fed on a teostra or a ice versions from valkana a and super one like high star one the managed to feed on fatalis
Oh that would be wild. I do think the time to do that was in IB where he was a flagship. I’d rather they do something like that for this game’s flagship. I do love the idea that Nergi changes based on what he’s eaten!
I just want an hd khezu and valstrax any version. Just give me those and I'll be in love
You wanna see some HD nastiness! I’d prefer Gigginox, but I get you!
CAPCOM, PUT ZAMTRIOS AND TETSUCABRA IN WILDS, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!!!!!
The good ol Kratos meme!
I would like to see just monsters that work in the ecology
And I also want plesioth and monoblos
Oh for sure we’ll get that they knock it out of the park every time with that!
@@Jaycan sometimes they don’t because monsters like brachy it doesn’t have a reason for the slime
It’s a symbiotic relationship with mold spores on its skin. Brachydios’ saliva has enzymes that speed up the reaction of the mold to make it more explosive.
@@Jaycan I know but there is no reason for the symbioses
i gotta see Valstrax in wilds, 100% my favorite monster other then Zinogre
I feel that! Who's higher for you Zinogre or Valstrax?
@@Jaycan how dare you ask such a heinous question
@@Jaycan gotta go with Val
Lagiacrus, Mizutsune, Seregios
It'll be unforgivable if Seregios returns again and doesn't get some sort of subspecies or Variant of some kind!
Bring back Rajang, Malfestio, Chamelios, Brachydios and Glavenus
Nice list! Especially Malfestio I mentioned him in the video about Friendly Fire!
Not gonna lie I’m sick of Rajang and the Dos trio of elders. Chameleos can stay because he wasn’t in World, but Telstra and Kushala could use a break. Also Rajang has been in every MH I’ve played except 3U and I find him very annoying, so he can die.
If they give us all of the fated 4 ill climax dude i swear.
