This is just part of the problem. People using 911 to do harm on an innocent person. Lies over lies in addition with cops and there easily bruised egos get people killed or thrown in jail. I will admit that the 1st cop on the scene handled it well. There needs to be repercussion against people who abuse 911. We have laws on the books. Who will enforce them? Cops, DA's, Judges??? The system is broken. It is unfortunate that this business owner did not know the law, but the woman who called 911 and flat out LIED, should be prosecuted. In ATA's words, "she gets an F"
It would’ve been JUSTICE if that panicked woman would’ve been properly CHARGED with false reporting that incited that emergency police response…but cops are too hesitant to arrest Reporting Parties out of fear of cutting off their “bread & butter.”
The Karen needs prosecuted. She told the dispatcher, rather rudely, the gun was in his bag, then told the officer she "thought it was in his back pocket." She's clearly lying. People take the ride for far less.
i don't know if there was a past encounter with law enforcement with the dude recording but it sounds like they are familiar with that particular individual from him recording their station and have probably put out a internal statement saying know off the top of your head 1 2 and 3 in case you have an interaction with someone like this again so we dont have any more issues. on the other hand they did act professional and most of not all knew everything they needed to anyways. I'm going to be working as armed security on a government installation here within the next few months for a contracting agency and these videos help refresh on things that would most definitely help with different encounters ill probably come across.
"Filming kids at school and has a gun" That womans lies could of ended up giving the innocent auditor a fatal dose of lead poisoning in a lot of places.
I think that more should have been done with the woman that called in saying he has a gun and filming the kids.they could have looked at his video and seen that he was not filming the kids.what she did could have gotten that man killed.
@@Real_Moon-Moon In my opinion calling and saying that someone has a gun is priming the cops for danger. It's like putting the alarm in their heads "Danger! Danger! You might get shot! Someone might get shot! He has a gun! Danger!" and then it isn't even about how the guy behaves when they get there, it's about how his behaviour is perceived! To make matters worse, the person being accused of this doesn't know about this. If You know that the police is coming and they are going to suspect that You have a gun then You'd probably keep your hands in a position that is clearly visible, but if You don't know then it increases the risk that your movement might be misread as reaching for the gun.
That’s the thing with these type of videos. If the Karen or Daren just ignored the camera they would end up in a video called “Mulberry Wisconsin post office audit, 12/13/2020” that gets like 1.2k views and they would be in the background, but instead they choose to flip out and call the cops and they end up in something called “crazy Karen attacks me for my first amendment, right” that gets like 4 million views and they are the main focus. I don’t understand why they get so mad at the camera it just doesn’t make sense to me
Those people basically SWATed him. This is bad news. That officer crushed it. Very well handled. Exceptional professionalism. Very pleased with his work. Very refreshing.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Me and my boss are sitting here watching and my boss said, "They literally SWAT'd him!" The Karen who called who called twice about the gun, needs to be prosecuted. She is plainly stated the second time she called, "There is a guy with a gun.."
Yes this officer was a great fucking guy. All those new officers got to see a great example. And I'm glad he cares about his rookies, and how he explained that and what was going on to the guy.
The lady who called knew exactly what she was doing by making it sound like a security threat, using urgency in her tone, bringing in children & school, finally, abruptly disconnecting the call saying "I've gotta go" couple of times, to project that she was afraid for her safety & others, while standing there nonchalantly, possibly enjoying her little performance, all the while knowing there wasn't any gun involved. She should've been prosecuted.
@@richcampbell6808 she claimed she thought her statements were true. She could claim she was panicking hence saying “backpack” instead of back pocket. Key word in the law at least the way it is written in Florida is “knowingly”. This all come down to good faith so why would any officer pursue that charge? You can’t prosecute that without further evidence
Finally an intelligent cop Who understands the law and the limits of his authority. He even uses critical thinking to make the determination that no way this guy means harm or he wouldn’t be carrying several cameras on a monopod. Good cop and I never say that.
even the officer who was explaining to the owner was bang on he has a first amendment right to record if you do not want to be on camera you can go inside
Intelligent through experience not studying. It's a big difference but they did handle that well. They even said he has been auditing them before which leads to believe the superiors have had extensive talks with their officers but this is a great day to train the young ones who rode along.
THIS should be a training video at the police academy. This officer did everything by the book. Good to see that there are in fact good officers out there.
Almost everything. There were a few small but important actions taken by police that did NOT have to be. The frisk was NOT necessary due to the obvious lack of suspicious activity of the auditor. A couple of officers on scene actually berated the auditor saying he was 'trying to get under people's skin'. That was uncalled for and VERY unprofessional. His personal opinions should have been kept to himself. People's motives for their actions, if the actions are not illegal, are none of his business. The officers should have ARRESTED the woman for making a false report to 911, AND lying in such a way as to put the auditor's life in danger.
He took the citizens property without consent. He showed up to a call of possible legal activity and if the citizen didn’t consent to a search he very likely would’ve been battered and his right violated.
The fact that you are surprised to see cops doing good things shows that you have fallen onto the social media hole and never actually looked up videos of police doing good things. It's only a slight minority of police that are bad, the rest are actually good.
@@dennismood7476 Incorrect. The frisk is be ause of the call that they got, you don't have to act frantic or have jerky motions to be armed, you can be armed and still act cool. The cop even said I can see that you aren't a danger but this is just to he sure because of the call we got. As for the things the officer said about getting under people skin usually is 100% correct, and the police have freedom of speech just like we do. They don't lose those rights when they become police.
I just can't even imagine walking up to a random person and demanding and explanation of what they are doing. This guy takes it one step farther and wants to demand identification as well. Lol what a clown.
Wow. I didnt think I'd ever see the day when, not just one cop, but a group of them, defend a persons right to film in public. It's really nice to see this happen. It just doesn't happen nearly enough. Great job by those San Jose Police officers!
it's people like me that made this happen since San Jose has so many lawsuits they literally are going broke because of it. that officer wasn't joking about their other staff on the police force coming in hot and if it wasn't for him knowing what's going on, it would have turned out very differently.
I'm also very happy to see this. I'm also sad how low the bar is, this should be the norm and not the exception. We have a long long way to go. It's also disheartening that even though these cops upheld the law and freedoms of that man there were still at least a couple of cops that I noticed who sounded disappointed that they had to do so.
Gotta love how they insinuate he’s filming kids. Also love how the woman who never came outside makes up him having a gun and filming children while she’s 200yards away and has zero idea what’s going on😑
@@tastefulsubstance that's around an hour per cop and car. $2,000 minimum. Considering they could've been working on other crimes costing the city or tax payers money as well there probably could be additional collateral damages.
Full credit to the first cop. He completely de-escalated the whole situation. This went exactly how I would want this situation to go. Solid use of the large number of officers on scene once they arrive, too. Totally shut down the business owner's misconception about filming in public too. Great work.
Yeah, even threatening the operator that if there wasn't a quick response like she demanded, she would get News stations/reporters involved. I wish the officers had reprimanded her for that because it was a literal threat.
Bitch reminds me of my little sister 20 years ago, always putting me in trouble with my parents by accusing me of shit I never did. Its true what they say about Karens, they start young.
That female employee should’ve been arrested. There is no way she could’ve even seen if that man had a gun from the distance. It is clear and I believe a reasonable jury would conclude that she lied about the gun to get a response. The business owner should’ve been arrested for assault as well if the auditor would’ve supported it.
Well of course she got away with it because vagina, females are not held as accountable as men are in American culture. Infact the justice system works on behalf of woman against men.
@@fckjoebdn1776 The response was because the business is across from a school and police take immediate action because of that. For THAT reason, the response was what it was and it was OBVIOUS the woman called and mentioned a gun to generate this exact response. She DEFINATELY should have been arrested.
Kudos to the initial officer for his exemplary professionalism. His conduct in this situation was crucial in preventing a potentially disastrous outcome, possibly even a fatality for the auditor. This video serves as a shining example of the vital role well-trained and educated police officers play in our society. It should be an essential component of training at every police academy, highlighting the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism. This officer's conduct was nothing short of exceptional, helping bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community they serve.
The cop said he was doing a "first amendment right" instead of calling him an auditor..... and I am holding back tears. This is awesome. This is justice!
He also said he was there to get under peoples skins and that unintentionally he was putting this whole situation still on the auditor in a sense of he said this is all happining cuz of the guy trying to get a reaction... after the cop searched his property illegally and detained him in cuffs ( arrested ) , then did the cop see there was no gun and his frustrations was then turned onto the woman that false called, and yet he did not charge her. Even tho sheeeee was the only one on scene that broke the law. . but in a sense he was still blaming the camara guy for the whole situation by saying he is trying to get under ur skin, and to look at the response he got so it worked... cop did not charge her for false calling in a deadly weapon, and still blamed the camara guy in the end.. They still showed up and unlawfully searched a man on the side walk put him in cuffs and then still blamed the camara man in the end for causing this for GETTING UNDER THIER SKIN apparently, but failed to do his job when the lady false called this in.. This cop and situation was nothing of a fresh air , they showed up violated a mans rights for no good cause, and then failed to issue a charge to the lying lady... all in all its a fail.. the only tjing thst was a fresh of air was seeing a bs call like this come in and they dident MANHANDLE him first then do as they just did afterwards, thats the only ok good that they did was not fk him up right off the back, but what they did do right off the back was detain him in cuffs and serach a man illegally.. so no this is a str8 bullshit fail on everyone there but the guy standing there minding his own ..
@@JohnnyBravo303 when did they search him? Are you referring to the legal weapons pat down? When did they cuff him? I rewatched the video. Didn't see any cuffs. The police blamed the woman for this response because otherwise just a single cop would have likely showed up...casually... And based on the police knowledge of the 1st amendment, they would have recognized what's going on explained it to the business owner and left. They very clearly communicated to the caller that this was her fault. If you can't recognize this as a win then whatever. Have your opinion. This is leaps and bounds compared to cops arresting people for exercising their rights and acting like tyrants. Saying someone is "trying to get a reaction" is way better than abusing your power to arrest someone, detain them, confiscate their property and give them fasle charges. This is a win.
@@JohnnyBravo303 the auditor was never put in handcuffs, the officer just held his hands like that while terry frisking him. @@jayk7149 It kinda depends from the auditor. After having watched a bunch of videos i've noticed that some auditors are just nice guys that go around with their cameras and they are polite with officers even when those officers are extremely aggressive BUT there are other auditors that are pretty aggressive even in some situations where they are not correct about some law.
Is he the the cop who conspired with the false caller and responded in a tactical, armed and possibly fatal confrontational action and who battered the camera man with an unjustified body search, detention, presumption of guilt, all the while knowing the victim presented no threat and was guilty of nothing unlawful or even immoral? It would have been outstanding police work had they arrested the real criminals - the guy who assaulted and broke auditors camera and the Karen who falsified a report and lied to get auditor killed because she didn't get her way. I would cross the "Wasting time and resources for an incorrect allegation" since they didn't call in a SWAT team but the rest they should totally be charged with.

That woman who called the dispatcher is CLEARLY lying. Then LIED AGAIN, when he read back her conversation with the dispatcher. There is NO WAY she could see a gun in his back pocket from that distance.
Ya, I agree.. She saw what looked like a gun as well as Florida state deputy, deputy "NEANDERTHAL" could mistake a "WITE CANE" used by blind people for a firearm... What a joke these idiots are... Claiming to see things where there is nothing to see at all or don't even look like the things they claim they resemble in any way, shape or form... Or am I mistaken and that there is actually a firearm out there that resembles a "WITE CANE?"
I can’t believe the guy and the girl got off so easy. That’s crazy, he hung up on the dispatcher 3 times, and she made the definition of a fake call on the guy. I can’t believe this is allowed.
The more calls they get, the more funding. This was possibly recorded as a man with a gun incident, near a school. With this one on the books, the PD can argue for an increase in budget. A vicious circle of a very expensive sort!
The Police were being highly one sided against the citizen. Good job to SLO for being the only one there in control of himself. I would call the business owner a jerk or worse ( only in keeping with LL request to “be nice”). Good job to the LEOs for putting him in his place.
I think the issue is that she said the right things when talking to the officer after the fact in a way that it's tough to disprove. "I saw something that I thought was a gun" is plausible. It seems really unlikely and is almost certainly a lie, but you can't PROVE that she didn't legitimately think there was a gun, which would make prosecuting her very, very difficult.
Everyone saying "wow, a police department who knows what to do"... This a direct correlation to the work SLO has done in that area for the last couple years. He is constantly auditing the police and public. So happy to finally see his work on a larger channel. Keep going Gabriel!!!!!
I was going to comment saying that as much as the officers mention him, it would seem like their handling of the situation was largely due to his previous auditing activities.
The employee that called to report “a gun” is lying her ass off… She even threatened to start calling television news networks, to bully threaten the cops… The cops, are actually being manipulated by people like this one, and listening to her call’s, you can clearly hear that she was trying to get someone either arrested or shot… The owner, seems to not understand the laws, but absolutely knows he has broken the laws, and doesn’t care…
Props to her though with her story. If she went the other route, especially the honest route. She would have been in trouble quick. Karens be scary dude. Almost had a man gunned down because of their karen ego energy.

The Karen actually said to the dispatcher….”if the police aren’t here in XX minutes, I will be calling all of the news stations”. Sounds to me like she was pretty determined to get them there, and if it took her telling a lie to get them there, then so be it. And that’s exactly what she did. She KNEW damn well what she was doing.
I love how these monsters are pretending that he is filming kids, and then they lie to get cops out there. I genuinely hope they are charged and lose business due to this.
@J F. Fact is we have no idea if he filmed kids. I would suspect that he did record the kids but it was intended. The business owner 100% at fault. That being said I have no respect for the guy recording as he is out looking for this kind of interaction. when there is a response the guy recording could respectfully answer the questions and just move away. When they don't and focus all cameras on the business owner and even approach closer that is enough to know you are only there for YT cred. Most of the time nothing happens and the recordings are not worth posting.
So what if he filmed kids, the school lets them be seen from public, they must not have an issue with it. I mean what did they think he was going to see if he did film kids? People have those brain fart on kids being filmed. Kid comes up and throws rocks on your windscreen, your dash cam records him, OMG what a criminal you are filming that kid!
These cops are awesome. They approached the scene in a calm way and didn’t accidentally shoot an innocent man being wrongfully accused of currying a gun across from a school. Props to them. And props to the gentleman for calmly standing his ground with his camera, even though he was being attacked.
Amazing how Karen managed to stretch 911 call of "he's filming us from the sidewalk and wont stop", into "he has a gun and is filming the kids at the school across the street." Can you imagine how much daily drama she brings into everyone's life? Definitely a candidate for Karen of the Year award.
I feel bad for neither the business owner, nor the lady who called the police. Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law, and they easily could have known everything they did was illegal.
"Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law" Its a shame that we don't have a system in place to educate those and alleviate ignorance. or a more uniform legal system US wide. ~(laws change from county to county/ from state from state. its stupid complex and diffacult to stay in compliance 100% of the time even if you are trying to do your due diligence.) or laws that are basic enough to teatch children. if lawyers have to go to school for years to understand our complex legal system then what chance does your average person have? I am not syting that you are necessarily wrong, but the system is is not correct ither, and not set up in a way to be helpful.
The business owner clearly didn't know about the 1st Amendment rights but, he absolutely knew he had no right to damage the mans property. Can you imagine his reaction if someone threw a rock through the window of his crane?? We need more cops like him. I honestly am happy at the response to a perceived threat to children. When I eventually have children that go to school, I would be incredibly happy to have a police force that reacts like this to a threat to said children.
Mad respect for this officer, yes he was ready for a showdown at high noon, but made sure to protect and serve not only the complainant but also so said violator! WTF. The owner and his staff called in reports - when they callers didn't get the response they wanted, they hung up. Things quickly became chaos. There should be charged against the owner and staff for false reports, and against the person who broke the cameras
@@johnnylong6289 In the grand scheme of things, how much more annoying could it get? Unless they got hordes of 12 year olds calling in to scream down the line Xbox Live chat style, I'd say this is pretty up there for obnoxious stuff they have to deal with. Kevin calls in literally just to make a point, doesn't answer any questions, and then hangs up. *Twice*. That's pretty obnoxious when you're legally obligated to go through a bunch of steps to figure out what the fuck is going on so you can call in a response. And that's ignoring the mental anguish of having to even hear Karen speak, since I think that was a different operator.

It is so refreshing to see cops from multiple precincts acting righteous and actually defending our rights. Compliments and respect to whoever trained them. 👍
They aren't the problem. It's the frauditors who always take things too far and seek confrontation for clicks and views. It's the idiots who don't understand that just because there's public accessibility it doesn't mean you can go in and do whatever you want. It's the fools that can't be respectful when they talk or show respect in general yet they demand it from everyone else. Unfortunately there's way too many of those assholes that youtube enables to create confrontation for money. They are a pathetic group of unemployed jerks who are a nuisance and drain on society.
As much as the officers mention SLO doing audits, I would wager that the manner in which they handled this can largely be attributed to SLO and his auditing. The very heart of why these guys do audits.
they did well but were also slurring the issue by some of their condescending comments ...and even going so far as to say he was trying to get under someones skin and then saying IDK if thats what he was doing .That was wrong wrong and wrong .
This was refreshing to see officers not instantly believe the 911 caller and go directly to violence against the auditor. Maybe there is some hope left?
I'm not as sanguine about it as you are. Even if the guy did have a gun, nothing in the call mentioned was illegal. Americans have a constitutionally protected right to be armed. They sent a bunch of cops out just because someone thought he might be armed. Not that he was waving a gun around or doing anything threatening. Just maybe armed. And then the first cop, who everyone is praising, came up to the guy, took his backpack and one of his cameras away from him, pulled his hands behind his back and felt all over his body. That is not a good outcome for someone who did nothing wrong, and even the caller did not say anything that indicated he was committing a crime. While I agree that it could have gone much worse, that does NOT mean that what we saw was a good outcome. That man was harassed and violated for no reason.
@@XJWill1 I feel that's a fair compromise given the description and info the cop have. Aside from reporting a gun, that female employee also implied the guy "scouting" a school. I would say that is a proper response given the situation.
Maybe not all the cops most notably the female who referred to SLO’s action in a condescending manner as “pulling 1A stuff” she could have easily given his actions the respect they deserve, he is exercising his 1A right.
@@threatlevelzeronot all of them were as professional as the first guy, but I'm excuse it because they didn't cause an escalation. We wouldn't have an auditor problem if people were more aware of their rights and actions.
These police officers knowing the laws and peoples rights AND uphold them is nice to see. Other police departments, take notes. When the police went in and lost their sh*t with the people in the building, I side with the police on this one. Great job, officers. You are a shining star in a dying world. Edit: This is why I am not a police officer. I do not believe I could have stayed calm after having a response that big. I would have arrested the woman who kept going outside. She could have gotten that gentleman killed. To me, this is on the same level and just as serious as swatting someone. Very dangerous for all involved!
@@christopherreed5026 The recording shows she lied. She could not have seen a gun from where she said she was. She also tried to contradict her statement to the police vs the 911 call. She should have been arrested
Oh yea, she can be charged! Then heard by 12. Let them decide. Even if she was to get off, she’d learn a valuable lesson after paying an attorney to defend her.
I saw the whole video when he posted it. It's absolutely ridiculous. The cops got super pissed at the false call. How often do you really see that??? It's good to see.
They do have ACTUAL work they need to be doing. This is a dispute between two people that does not involve a criminal element, hence their presence was not required. As such, they are pissed that their time is being wasted lol.
They didn't search him, they did a terry stop (pat down) and kept hold of his bag. They were within their authority to do that as per the call, even though we know the call was bullshit, the cops didn't. The officer even said "we aren't going to search it" about his bag. They were brilliant.
It’s really cool that the cops mentioned auditors and even said “they don’t have to identify themselves to us”. It appears auditing is actually working lol
Nah it appears auditors are attention seeking D-bags that won't go get a real job, just walk around with a camera doing shady shit hoping the cops will show up... This changes nothing with cops' attitude or enforcement.
It's working, but you can see that they still think the point is to antagonise people into making mistakes, rather than holding people accountable to the law while doing something you're well within your rights to do. They act friendly with him, but it's only because he lets them pat him down and look through his bag. Could have ended very differently.
I saw this awhile back. I appreciate you putting together the 911 calls. I had no idea that they reported a gun. That’s just ridiculous. Thank You for your hard work.
Yeah it really changes the whole perspective. Without the gun threat this seems like a huge over-reaction from the cops - But with it, it becomes a very professionally handled situation where, someone with a gun was reported near a school, with a situation that was de-escalated quickly. The sad part is if that Karen didn't say there was a gun, maybe one officer would have shown up.. eventually. It's clear Dispatch did not even remotely care about this poor boomer's concern of recording near him.
You can hear the sheer terror in the Karen’s voice when the officer actually confronts her about the false police call. Inconsistent story, backed by evidence. Karen needs charges pressed against her by the guy who was swatted, almost potentially killed on sight.
What's messed up is: So many time the 'state' or 'county' will Carry an indictment; Despite your begging otherwise(ie. U wanna 'drop charges'). Yet, how often do they *actually* puesure ppl for 'False Reports'? SHould not the Populace be held *Acountable*?? Srsly. ive seen this sh-eet WAY TOO OFTEN even before I hit 30yo (10yrs ago). Wake Up Kidz.
'Sorry' doesn't cut it. This woman is the ilk of personality we all encounter at places like Walmart at one point or another. She is the perpetrator here because her feelings were assaulted by someone who did nothing wrong.
Right. Her: ohh myyy God is that what he was doing? Cop: He doesn't have a gun! Her: ohh thank God! Me: Lady leave God out of your shenanigans, God has nothing to do with it 😜😂🤣.
Funny how the only person to be censored is the actual offender.. These Karens must be exposed and publicly held accountable.. Accountability must take precedence over her not wanting to be exposed..
Had a Karen make a false claim on me as well. The cops never charged her with waste of police resources. The same way my dad's ex had him in jail for assault that never happened, and even admitted to the court she lied months later to get him out early. She was crazy on bi-polar meds.
I can't really express the way this video makes me feel. It's like finally auditing has actually paid off and this department really understands and affirms the rights of the public. I feel joyous tears welling up in my eyes.
Even though PD is instructing the public correctly about rights their characterization isn't universally correct. Some auditors are provocative in their methods but, the fact they characterize this particular one as such is disappointing. Auditors aren't merely trying to get under people's skin, they're flexing their rights because PD and the general public are behind on the basic rights afforded to US citizens and mostly violate the rights when given the chance.
@@estBradley I would argue the 'mainstream narrative' seems to be "police are god-men" everyone from Fox to MSNBC to your local station loves to do plenty of fluff pieces on the police. I would also argue that this is not usually how it goes, a quick glance of the comments on this video shows how this audience feels and they feel genuine surprise in the level of professionalism because they are so used to seeing total and utter lack of competence. I've seen lots of encounters of just people with cameras, sometimes just actual journalists trying to do their jobs - getting the police called on them, them showing up and harassing them and detaining them with no probable cause and sometimes arresting them or issuing trespasses on public property, all because some Karen felt scared by some person who wouldn't comply with their Karen orders. Police are by and large completely clueless still and need more training. If they refuse to do the training themselves I guess the public will have to train them. One way or another.
Good on these police officers! They know the law and they inform this man and they don't make this situation worse but actually perform their job perfectly. This is the best video of cops I've seen lately. Gives me hope

There is a very intuitive concept a lot of people have stuck in their heads regarding the law. It is completely wrong, and always has been, but a lot of people have it. The concept goes “anything I dislike MUST be illegal and anything I like MUST be legal.” This is how you get people like that business owner thinking he has every right to mug people and destroy property, why his employee sees nothing wrong with lying to police about a man with a gun, and why they all thought video recording in public HAD to be a crime - because the things they thought were okay were necessary to get what they wanted, while the things they didn’t like had them calling the police to come shoot the man doing those disliked things. You also see it with drug addicts a lot - they will call police and basically report themselves for drug possession or even drug trafficking, because someone took the drugs they like. Some will even demand their property back from police after police recover it from the people who robbed them. It never occurs to them that things they like might be against the law.
This is the best police interaction with a audit I've ever seen. Those cops were nothing but professional and actually stood up for the rights of the auditor. And boy were they pissed when they found out a false call was placed about a firearm being involved. Bravo! Need more cops like y'all across the country.
Important to note, good on the auditor for consenting to the searches when he mentioned the gun. Immediately allowed everyone to relax the situation. It wouldn't be possible otherwise, and it's still impressive how professional everyone was, but that was integral to the result of the situation.

And even if he had a gun, there's nothing wrong with that, it's what he's doing with it thats important. A person with a gun is not a crime.
@@bilo5104 why don’t you think he should be charged with battery?

Kudos to the initial officer for his exemplary professionalism. His conduct in this situation was crucial in preventing a potentially disastrous outcome, possibly even a fatality for the auditor. This video serves as a shining example of the vital role well-trained and educated police officers play in our society. It should be an essential component of training at every police academy, highlighting the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism. This officer's conduct was nothing short of exceptional, helping bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community they serve.

Well put!💯✔️

The one officer set the whole pace. If he hadn't been there, you never know how this could have gone.
Lmao saaaame. Dare I question if the cops are tired of being put in situations that can cost them their jobs, lawsuits and possible jail time? Because if that's the case, these auditors are not only doing us a great service, but making a difference!!
WTF. The owner and his staff called in reports - when they callers didn't get the response they wanted, they hung up. Things quickly became chaos.
There should be charged against the owner and staff for false reports, and against the person who broke the cameras
The cops went looking for the woman who made the false reports. Yay !
But never arrested her for it
this dispatcher has an ungodly amount of patience
Some do but she was clearly frustrated. I bet she had some wine and a bubble bath when she went home and thought about her career options.

Really? It was a pretty pedestrian call in the grand scheme of things. You have a low threshold for this kind of thing.

The thing is if these were officers in the initial contact things would be different.

They aren't the problem. It's the frauditors who always take things too far and seek confrontation for clicks and views. It's the idiots who don't understand that just because there's public accessibility it doesn't mean you can go in and do whatever you want. This was so refreshing, THANK you very much for showing this footage , i was becoming extremely disheartened with all the bad.
This department clearly trains their officers well. Excellent job.
they had to after what they did to me. my lawsuit is still in process
@@undernoillusions1448 Yeah, well, nobody is perfect. I give them an A-.
NOT THE FEMALE COP
That man was harassed and violated for no reason.

karen should have been arrested maybe teased for the fun of it
Maybe not all the cops most notably the female who referred to SLO’s action in a condescending manner as “pulling 1A stuff” she could have easily given his actions the respect they deserve, he is exercising his 1A right.
@@threatlevelzeronot all of them were as professional as the first guy, but I'm excuse it because they didn't cause an escalation.

LOVE people who call the cops on themselves 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the best police force I have ever seen! Props to these wonderful officers who know the law and respect peoples rights!
Oh come on, the search was totally illegal.
Their response was based on absolutely NO substance.
They didn't search him, they did a terry stop (pat down) and kept hold of his bag. They were within their authority to do that as per the call, even though we know the call was bullshit, the cops didn't. The officer even said "we aren't going to search it" about his bag. They were brilliant.
THE FEMALE COP DOES NOT!
I truly hope that it does
You can tell it was the younger trainees too
seems like auditing is literally making a ripple effect, pretty cool
This is good because someone is being held accountable for making a false report. GREAT REACTION by Police and 911!
It will really be paid off when people start getting charged for making exacerbated 911 calls. AFTER ALL IT IS AGAINST A REAL LAW.
This is usually how it goes but it doesn't fit the mainstream narrative of "police bad" so it doesn't get nearly the same amount of attention
That'd be great if all over the country we could use our rights without being harassed, assaulted, battered, and having our property destroyed.
Good on these police officers! They know the law and they inform this man and they don't make this situation worse but actually perform their job perfectly. This is the best video of cops I've seen lately. Gives me hope

Why are people so afraid?
She said on the second call "He has a gun!" She needs to be prosecuted.
There is a very intuitive concept a lot of people have stuck in their heads regarding the law. It is completely wrong, and always has been, but a lot of people have it.
The concept goes “anything I dislike MUST be illegal and anything I like MUST be legal.”
This is how you get people like that business owner thinking he has every right to mug people and destroy property, why his employee sees nothing wrong with lying to police about a man with a gun, and why they all thought video recording in public HAD to be a crime - because the things they thought were okay were necessary to get what they wanted, while the things they didn’t like had them calling the police to come shoot the man doing those disliked things.
You also see it with drug addicts a lot - they will call police and basically report themselves for drug possession or even drug trafficking, because someone took the drugs they like. Some will even demand their property back from police after police recover it from the people who robbed them. It never occurs to them that things they like might be against the law.
Obviously because they're doing something dishonest and afraid it might get out.
About time this is what we all been looking for. I love good cops
