End all qualified immunity and judicial immunity

Only way we will ever start fixing this problem (epidemic) of bad policing and rights violating all over the USA! Currently they are not accountable for their actions and therefore do NOT care about being sued for bad behavior!
They got this immunity so they can do this ! 2. Anyone they want !
I will never comply to these tyrant's. I do not see these as law enforcement officers but vermin sewer rats. I don't care anymore about their safety. I suggest an open season.
How is qualified immunity still a thing when so many people and communities are against it? Corruption.
It's crazy how they looked at two civilians innocently speaking to one another and came up with this elaborate criminal plan for drug trafficking. That's SO scary.
It’s what they’re taught to do, everyone is a criminal
It's because they're legally deputized BANDITS. They pull you over to ROB you
Because they have sick, demon controlled minds and they wouldn't know truth if it hit them in the head.
It must have been a boring night. They're so afraid of anyone coming from the direction of Colorado...
They all want to be detectives
It's so infuriating that if someone exercises their right to remain silent they are immediately suspicious
You’re considered suspicious for walking down the street.
Pro-police people do you agree that a citizen wanting to remain silent is immediately suspicious?
@georgeshaffer246 I'm pro-police not pro-tyrant who disregards rights and believes guilty until proven innocent.
Suspisioso is just their bullshit excuse / buzzword to stick their nose in your business. Using suspicious as reason for anything is the village's Karen's job. The police should operate on evidence instead of bullshit. The same as when they fish for confessions.

Sharp eyed cop spotted the gas station attendant! What a tool!
"You've got all these cameras, what are you trying to hide"
This 70 IQ cop literally said that.
He then said we are also recording because we don’t have anything to hide. So police record not to hide things but citizens record to hide things? Bs
Can’t exactly “hide” when on camera… only cops get to do that… by denying the public access to their videos
When I heard them mention the cameras I assumed it was a bait car! Cameras all around. On the dash to watch the speed. They drive around obeying all traffic laws and the corrupt take the bait. It's awesome to watch them be exposed.

According to a July 2023 news story it looks like Joshua Bosire won his lawsuit against this egregious conduct. He was awarded $40,000 in damages.
Any pro-police people disagree that Joshua Bosire's award of $40,000 is justified? After all he didn't want to explain his travel plans and did have multiple

We started this country with laws that take a few hours to read. The Constitution.
I propose that if ignorance of the law is no excuse, the congress should have 24 hours to read all the laws that we should know and follow.
It makes sense - you don't want cops to be so hamstrung they become ineffective and get caught up in the minor details in a situation that may cost them or others their lives. The problem is that qualified immunity is implemented WAY too fucking broad. It needs to be tied to how severe a situation is or seems to be - like in this situation this was just a simple traffic stop and the cop had no reason to have done with they did and should rightfully lose it. If it was a shooting I kinda want the cops to bend the laws and rules if it's required to stop the threat because the right to life is a bit more important than other rights
If the guy was transporting narcotics, why on earth would he have several cameras around the car recording his illegal activity? That makes no sense whatsoever. Somehow I don't think this cop will make detective.
If we are lucky, they won’t even make him a trustee at the jail. But they are more than welcome to make him a resident at the jail for violating his oath, wasting department resources, and violating the drivers rights.

That Officer is constantly sniffing his nose. Hmmm?
From the average cop's experience, most citizens they encounter are probably way more than willing, maybe even jumping at the opportunity, to throw away all their rights and privacy. Most of the people they encounter who know their rights are, in their eyes, probably criminals. So it's not that crazy that they would associate knowing your rights with suspiciousness, not that it makes it right. It seems like more and more people are starting to learn they have rights through the internet which is good, and might be more normalized to them one day.

Except tailing a car waiting for him to break any sort of traffic law so that you could pull him over, extending the traffic stop with an attempt to violate his fourth amendment, hold his first and fifth amendment rights against him, alleging that they constitute suspicious activity, and accused him of multiple things he did not do.
There needs to be a way to restrict pretextual stops. Off the top of my head, one way would be that if an officer stops a vehicle for a minor traffic infraction, the cop is not allowed to ask the driver any questions, not allowed to order the driver or passenger to exit the vehicle, and not allowed to search the vehicle. The cop is only allowed to ask for license, registration, and insurance. The cop is allowed no more than 10-15 minutes to run the driver's information and write a ticket, then send the driver on his way. That's the way it would be if the US was a free nation instead of a police state.

After qualified immunity, civil forfeiture is the thing I'd most like to see abolished.
Civil forfeiture is the ability for the government to steal from citizens and will not go away until someone wins a $500,000,000.00 settlement because the government will do nothing about this.
My thing with qualified immunity is that it should exist in a VERY limited capacity. None of this “I didn’t know I couldn’t strip search on the side of the highway” bullshit. For the obscure law that literally nobody knows exist. Not common sense shit.
Kansas is huge into civil asset forfeiture. Truck drivers avoid the state just because of it that are from out of state. They like to target Armored Trucks and claim the cash has drug smell on the cash. Around 80 percent of all cash does. Cops keep pushing the boundaries of what they take for civil assets. In Alabama they took the wedding bands off a couple, all the jewelry, all their guns. When the cops had it reversed because they didn't get a warrant for the house guess what happened to what they took? It was all lost ? Lost to who? People catch them taking cash that doesn't get declared in the arrest reports which they denied until the video shows it was pocketed. Sad thing is other than officer getting a write up nothing gets done. Laws for thee and not for them.
I go to Missouri from Montana to see family every year and I avoid Kansas like the plague!

When cops get sued and they have to pay up. The settlement should come out of the police pension fund.
"I have a black man who knows his rights and refuses to submit. I need back-up if available."
Good luck to this guy and I appreciate him being steadfast in this proceeding.
oh piss off, white people get more bullshit from the cops than blacks, especially in the post-st. floyd America we now live in.
@@ilyarepin7750 What the fuck does any of that have to do with this stop or this video? This guy was harrassed by an ignorant fuckwit cop because he excercised his rights and wouldn't comply. You can hear them say they didn't smell anything so they have no PC to conduct a serch or hold him. That should have been the end of the story but the 2 dickheads wouldn't let it die. Remember, this ia all over weed, not narcotics or dangerous drugs. Weed. A plant that grows in the wild. Weed. These cops should be fired and forced to pay him personally, from their own pockets.
bravo to the fella standing up for his constitutional rights
In 1789, France tyrants were taken to the guillotine. The ones who were not taken to the guillotine or terrorized by the peasants. In Germany World War II, a lot of Nazis were executed after the Nuremberg trials.
His crime was incredibly obvious to the officer, he’s black
"That only applies when you're being arrested." I often wonder whether these cops are grossly ignorant of the law, or just hoping that their target is.
They hope we are. And most are. They can lie. Al he has to ask is "Am i being detained:"
Probably both.
Both.
They aren’t ignorant, they lie to get you to incriminate yourself
They are pathological liars. What do you expect. They lie for a living.
Thanks for updates
“That’s when you’re being arrested”.
This cop has no clue what he’s doing. Then he tells him he is done with the stop, but he’s now calling for a K9 that will extend the stop beyond the length of the normal stop, which is not allowed. This is an illegal dog search.
Also cops are allowed to lie to get you to talk. If it goes to court and you can't say "well he lied to me, i didn't know".
He knows what he is doing, just wanted to trip up the citizen into giving up his rights.
@@ciscof4041 his breaking of the law was based on either his lie or misunderstanding and it rightfully bit him on the aas.
Nah he knows what he’s doing he’s just not use to dealing with ppl who knows their rights
What's also funny is with that statement alone the cop is suggesting you have more rights when you're being arrested than when you're not. Imagine how many criminals they could catch if they could compel speech before arresting someone.
“Don’t make me stand out here.” My man, nobody is forcing you to stand there. As I will say for the umpteenth time, cops have discretion. It’s not our job to assist you in your investigation.
These cops must be terrible at their job if they are asking random citizens to aid them in their investigation!!!
Right! That's the sort of crap a sociopath says.
@@jackburton7062 Psychopath. I prefer the term, psychopath. A lot of cops are sadistic psychopaths.
Yea, lemme help you arrest & convict me. Lemme do your job that forces us to pay you 6 figures/yr to do w/ benefits & qualified immunity but laughably insufficient training. Let me do all that for you, & extort myself & all for free. GTFOH with that
Hey, you initiated the contact. That's why you're standing out there.
Never seen so many cops afraid of a camera 😂😂
Why the hell do cops talk to us like we're either children or dogs?
I like how the second police officer who arrived at the traffic stop said “NO I won’t, no” basically stating he wants no part of this bogus traffic stop so he won’t be apart of any lawsuit because of the other officers ignorance.
I believe the second officer refusal was based on the information that there were multiple cameras mounted in this vehicle 😳 😀
But what did he do to correct the issue????
I have noticed police oftentimes respond to I'm not required or willing to id myself as obstruction.
It is the fourth amendment.
I have to say it seems to me like the fifth amendment you must affirm that right to be secure on your person, affects and properly or state I invoke my fourth amendment protection.
The cops might well still arrest or charge, there is very little besides performing oral acts that will stop the police from manufacturing a crime.
The point is that if body camera footage shows you saying that I invoke my fourth and fifth amendment rights to speak with an attorney before answering any questions including my name and my right to remain silent, then placing you under arrest for it?
The DA is very unlikely to pess charges and a judge should throw it out at your preliminary hearing.
You need to know your rights and articulate them.
Yes the cops SHOULD know and protect them, but obviously won't.
yeah he was smart lol
@@fredwarsaw5782 Absolutely. My first thought would be that it's an audit car. What criminal videos everything inside their car for the police to seize?
The people who trained this officer and certified him to be an officer should be publicly flogged along with the officer.
@@JohnTheRevelat0r I would think it's How the hours of training is used. Look at the failures of our "Education" System compared to other countries. Indoctrinate Garbage, you get Garbage. Educate wisdom facts and thinking, that's the result you get. Whether you're a student or a police officer.
Naw,tarred and feathered in the public square.
Lmao!! Funny, but true😄😄😂😂😂
it’s not the training, it’s the type of people they hire. the only people who want to grow up and be cops come from the lowest class backgrounds. they’ve all grown up poor and you can’t take away those negative innate qualities no matter how much you make
Pineapple straight up there patootys!
I would LOVE to know the final outcome of this case. I truly HOPE AND PRAY that for once our “justice system” actually does the right thing here. Honestly, these “troopers” should be charged for kidnapping
Wow, the fact that these cops are SO preoccupied with this guy's cameras tells you how utterly crooked they must be. If you aren't doing anything wrong, why would you object to the cameras, officer? Also, the amount of butthurt energy they emit for the guy not detailing his travel plans is off the chart.
Yeah maybe ….. but maybe not ……..
It’s not proof at all and wouldn’t hold up in court …….
That being said …… if the guy has cameras all over the place he’s probably not making drug deals…….. because most people wouldn’t videotape themselves making drug deals……
So that might lower his suspicion..
and then. the blatant lie from that pig saying he MUST answer his questions. tyrant asshole needs to be fired, and never work again in law enforcement.
Or thinking nobody has nothing else to do but fool with them.
Best response I’ve seen on the “travel plans” question:
Cop: Where are you headed tonight?
Driver: I don’t discuss my personal affairs with strangers.
Cop: But I’m a police officer!
Driver: That makes me even more reluctant, not less.
point A to point B is my usual response
The gaslighting training course is top notch at their academy!!
Your whole reason of stopping him because you thought he was transporting drugs, but then said that his behavior is making you think he has drugs.
The driver in this case was extremely smart. Having several cameras protected him and kept the officer from escalating the encounter to the point where the driver could have been injured. I hope the case goes to trial and I hope that officer is sent to prison.
Sent to prison. Lol. That isn't going to happen even if they would have jerked him out of the car and arrested him it just isn't going to happen. The guy will be lucky just to win the court case.
And it was a rented car, and the officer noted the cameras were 'pre-installed'. So driver chose a rental with cameras. Smart driver, stupid egotistical cop.
@@amymoorehead7185 smart rental company though too.
it's like cops forget the main reason for cameras wasnt for them but for potential accidents. the bonus is catching them pull some BS shit that gets them rightfully sued
It WON'T,(they'll settle and admit no wrongdoing) and all of those scum will continue to do this nonsense
This officer did what he was "Trained to do" in my opinion. He did the Kansas two step. This comes down to the Kansas State Police department and training. Normally I might lean toward blaming this State police officer, but I think this is the states fault.
End qualified immunity
Make defendant officer(s) 100% responsible for 100% of costs associated with their illegal actions. That means every dollar spent from the time the act started all the way to settlement, not just the settlement itself.
Attach it to THEIR pensions!!!!! I bet then they would stop THEIR BULLSHIT!!!!!
Sounds great but they would need to increase the IQ # by quite a bit.
Everything else is fantastic. Good to great pay, Benny's, retirement, and a strong union.... wasted on moron order followers. Sigh...
Lackluster, perfect video. This is absurd.
LL thanks again for explaining by example how the judicial system works time wise once beyond a magistrate court!!!
You ALWAYS have the right to remain silent during any interaction with the police
I love how cops that are targeting people always say "why do you want to record" and "why are you nervous"
the one video the female officer say where not going to hurt you and he male cop chokes her.
this is why people are nervous.
Sounds about right
... and why are your eyes red ?? or 'dialated' what do they teach in these Academy's: Eye Surgery?
Why is the cop so nervous, is generally my question. They always say they're afraid, hence the pat down. They're the ones with guns and the power (in the immediate moment).
He committed the horrific crime of invoking his right of remaining silent.
Just wondering why it's so easy for officers to wreck your life up but when they themselves are found to be in the wrong it takes forever to get justice.
I love this! If I’m not in custody then I’m leaving. If I am in custody then I’m remaining silent. This is why people hate the cops they bring it on themselves.
Motorist: If l'm not in custody then l'm leaving. If l am in custody, then l'm remaining silent.
Those are indeed very damaging remarks, and it hurts. Hence "cop": "l'm going to waste some your precious time and let you wait out another 45 mins".
This "cop" is a classic piece of germs/shit!!
It's tuff to stay silent when your rights are being violated when we all know the guy doesn't have the $$$ to fight it. Let alone be Public Enemy in his own neighborhood.
“He’s playing… the game.”
Yes my freedom and my rights are a game. Glad to know that’s how they feel.
The guys travel plans are absolutely none of this tyrants business whatsoever and therefore he doesn't get to ask the guy about his business. Why is he being pulled over is what's really important. Stupid cops I swear.
Wow, cops just think of what kind of BS, they can dream up.
Everyone take note: This driver is exactly how you do it. Listen, learn and live it to success.
He could’ve gave less information.
He talks too much.
No he is not. He should have kept his mouth shut. “ I don’t answer discovery questions without a lawyer presence. “ then sit in an uncomfortable silence. The fact that he said ANYTHING was deemed suspicious. This is NOT a good example.
@@karinaz8756 He did it so right, he's getting paid to win. He might have lost on that opportunity if he did not give the officer just enough proverbial rope, to hang himself with.
Suspicion is NOT a crime.
"He's doing a whole bunch of things that are perfectly within his rights, which I don't like." - literally his entire line of reasoning for harassing him, under cover of authority.
he has a LOT of cameras and is actively exercising his rights... what a butthole.. suspicious...
We truly do live in the age of absurdity, where feelings are more important than facts and egos are more important than the law.
