The big takeaway for me from this interview is it's about who fits well with the players we have. Special superstar talent is very important but something equally as important is if talent, personalities, and styles of play mesh well with the identity of our team. This tells me our team is in good hands with Brad, lets keep developing our guys, building our chemistry, and getting closer to grabbing banner 18.
Man! I love Brad! And I’m sooooo happy he addressed the draft “errors” and also the “farm system”. Brought up Miami which I’ve thought about how good they are developing young talent. Also the Spurs are really good at it too. Now let’s make this Celtic Culture AWESOME at developing new/young talent!!
This might be a good trade fr, his numbers will prolly end up being better and with a long term contract we can trade or keep depending on how much he improves + If Pritchard and nesmith could knock down 3’s like they’re supposed too we’ll be one player away from contending
The thing with a team like the current celtics focusing on defence and making it their identity is that that will create so much energy that it will make it easier to score. Not to mention the fact that we have 2 guys that have dropped 50 this year, the best defence in the league along with 2 guys like that can win you any series if it all clicks
No BS, as you'd expect...from BS. I like all of it, including the "redundancy" at the 5-spot and PG. Keeps them all honest and keeps the lineup consistent all with a defensive focus. While the rest of the league is overpaying for highlights and stats guys, I like the modest, shrewd, humble, integrity-based, hard-working, Team-focused mentality happening here. It's refreshing, in a world of mega contracts and guys eclipsing the league they actually play in. I also like paying Hauser to join the actual team and the "freedom" to pick and choose for the remaining open spots which, if this momentum continues, will only reinforce this building synergy. All that said, gotta get DWhite a more aerodynamic 'do and maybe hit the gym. But a big thumbs up to all of this from me.
I liked how he explained our bigs role and how theis can fit either the 4 or 5. I'm still not a fan of double bigs but somehow it's working so I look forward to seeing how theis does with rob or Al
Boston is really focused on fit - guys who are locked in defensively and have the ability to switch and can complement Jaylen and Jayson. I feel like Toronto (defensive-minded, competitive, and long) and Milwaukee (3-D to complement Giannis) may be the only other teams that have an approach like this where they look for a certain type of player as opposed to just adding raw talent and seeing if it works out.
Brad's decision making as a GM is looking good right now. There's not much that can be done ATM and just maybe this year's team continues their great run through the post season, but this coming summer's moves will determine if this team can be a "true" contender or not
Brad is making a defensive monster. At least he makes moves. Everyone always bitched about Danny never pulling the trigger.... So I don't wanna hear nuthin' from them peeps. Brad's making confident moves, betting on him making the Celts HIGHLY competitive within 3-4yrs. Celts have been just floating below the best, and with JT and JB getting to their prime🤷♂️ gotta see what they can do with them or gut the entire team and start over, so...
ATTENTION BRAD STEVENS... PLEASE READ THIS.... If you do not make the right trades in the offseason you are going to lose every single year because this team CANNOT WIN WITH THE SAME CORE IT IS PROVEN YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!!!! How many more years Brad MUST we keep losing!!!!
I love brad, miss his postgame press conferences. Glad to hear from him in situations like this.

This guy is a real genius. He has not made a bad move in 2 years! Pat Riley/Jerry West 2.0
tuned in for trade discussion; stayed for Forsberg's hair.

I’m still sad we had to get rid of j rich. He was turning out to be a great part of the team.
Ya disappointed jrich is gone but I'm told DW was worth it.
@@leagueleaders did you watch last game
@@chriswright8074 yup he was worth it Jayson seems very excited to be playing with him so I'm excited too
@@leagueleaders I told y'all so he play with both jays before knows pop and Coach he knows the system that exactly why he plug and play
Maybe j rich will come back to us again. We keep getting our old players back.
