      It's The Owner fault. Wyc Grousbeck has owned this team since 2002 and has only gone to the Finals two times they won 1 And lost 1. The Celtics and Bruins have the two worst owners in Boston sports.

    This is like back in the day before over saturated media coverage invaded our lives. Hurricanes or bad weather would come, the hardware store wasn’t crowded & the gas station was even keel. Now, Home Depot is crowded and the gas lines are down the street. Brad bringing up that loss during Russell’s statue unveiling put things in perspective for me… slow down.

      Not too fast, it was great getting rid of Kemba, but Horford is still a huge issue. Horfords contract is just a little better. His play on the court has been extremely minimal.

    Brad is awesome for coming out and talking to the toxic Boston media. We are very lucky to have him.

    • @veljkocetnik3050
      @veljkocetnik3050 3 года назад

      what is toxic about Boston media? They are soft nowdays. This was a planned move - he called the media to show support for his coach and core guys - but not for the whole team, he said when asked if this is the right group we will see - then probably not the right group. Its so hard to say something good about Ime, so he lied, said Ime is consistent, and he is everything but consistent, he wanted the captain, guys ghosted him, he said no complaining to the reffs and they are even worse then last year with that, he said he will bench guys and did a role player in preseason, but when it came to JT he let JT sulk for half a quarter when he didnt get a call. And for his gameplan, lineups, idea how to play D, thats just bad.
      So all in all Brad had to do this to show support. In a way it is Brads fault - he chose Ime, he brought in guys over the summer that make little sense - Like Josh, Hernangomez (whod be ok if he played but since they dont play him its just a trade chip, filler). Ivery Bradley was available, Ricky Rubbio also, many guys that we couldve used. Id keep Fournier over Smart.. all bad calls . Only move I agree with is Al for Kemba.

    It's too early in the year to be playing the same guys heavy minutes. If they were winning, fine, but lot of young guys should all be playing more. If not for development, then at least for competition.

    A lot of the issues with this team are due to Brad’s style and personality. He is soft and he made this team soft. His tone of voice, his outlook on things are all very bland. His style is great for college because you are getting 17 year olds that are eager to please and he is like a great therapist. In the NBA, these rich men are not trying to hear that. They need somebody that will challenge them and push them to the core, someone they can physically fear in a way. Ime can be that but having Brad the Therapist still around to baby these guys is not good.

    How about hiring an offensive coach that installs a motion offense of some sort to help lighten the burden on the two J's. They are constantly having to create off the dribble. How about having them come off double screens or have them both be involve in a pick and roll so either one of them can slash to the basket on the roll. Show some creativity on the offensive end coaches who are getting paid millions.

    The Celtics need a new owner. Wyc Grousbeck bought the Celtics in 02 and has only won the NBA finals 1 time. John Henry bought the Red Sox in 02 the same year as Grousbeck and has won 4 World series titles in a sport that you have to earn making the playoffs. The NBA all you have to do to get in the playoffs is be a 500 team and you have a great chance of being a5th or 6th seed Grousbeck needs to sell the team otherwise the Celtics won't win another finals.

      I don't think they need to turn it into #1 and #2. They just need to share duties in the 4th quarter, realistically Tatum and Brown are 1A and 1B. Whoever has the hot hand should lead in the 4th quarter, Tatum is off to a slow start but come playoff time (if we make it lol) Tatum always solidifies himself as 1A

      Stevens litterally carried us, and made us contenders when we were nothing. We finished #1 in the east with 5'9 ishia thomas as our star player who couldn't play 0 defense. He led us to ECF with rookie Jayson Tatum, and second year jaylon brown as our best players. He made better out of less. People give him shit 4 last year, but he led us to 3 eastern conference finals. Now we don't even look like we're gonna make the playoffs. IME is terrible, and can't run a simple play for the offense. We never even had hopes of making the playoffs, and he changed the entire organization.
