Opinions are like a**holes, I’m sure everyone has one. I think brad knows what he’s doing comes free agency watch him go all out. We had so many centers he got rid of three bums for one. And theis can play and white can play. I just see another superstar coming.

So far I have agreed with all the moves Brad has made starting with getting Al back. If he can keep up the great work the Celtics will have a bright future.

Man Brad is really excelling at putting together a group that functions well together while not having any headcase egocentric locker room idiots. He’s absolutely playing chess with the pieces he has and that were given to him. Look at that sly smile when talking about the five spots that are open. He’s already got plans for those and he’s got TPE’s to kick sround in the summer or possibly a trade during the draft to further surprise.

I'm in the needed a shooter camp but I trust Stevens vision. More to come with buyouts and the off-season. Think this is saying we're about next year mainly but have a potential run this year with that defense. Np with the 28 pick, gambling on our own success, I'll take that.

After watching several of his highlights with the Spurs, I must say he displays a great sense of the game. That translates to making those around you better; something we've lacked for sometime. Passing, defense, finishing around the basket, midrange and an occasional 3: What more could you ask for? He doesn't have to be perfect; just give us the best he can. I'm excited! Welcome to the Celtics Mr. White!

    • @julinho218

like he said, White is not flashy, he does the right plays and puts his body in the line (like the many draw fouls he's getting since last season)

Brad getting Theis back after Danny traded him for nothing is cathartic.

  • @merlincalo6877

I like the trade moves by Brad & Company. The Celtics did what they could to get better. Josh was a really good fit with the C's coming off a bounce back year. With Romeo he always has had potential and wasn't able to crack the rotatioin to get minutes. He couldn't have landed in a better place to contine to develop as a young player. I think Derrick will help to fill some of the holes the Celtics have and help run the offense. Theis will add more depth among the bigs and maybe can help with rebounding. They are both defensive minded players who should fit well with the identity of the coach and team of a defense first mentality.
It should be interesting how Brad will fill out the rest of the roster with five open roster spots. I think a 3D wing player and mobile big with size would be ideal. Richardson helped spread the floor with his 3PT shooting and was a versatile/athletic defender. Also, the top teams in the playoffs that you may or may not face have dominant centers. I am thinking more of the Sixers with Embid, Suns with Ayton, Lakers with AD, Heat with Bam, and maybe the Bucks with Giannis/Lopez.

Celtics are actually a match up nightmare for the 76ers! We got like 4 dudes who can lockdown Harden and 3 guys that can handle Embiid! On the hand outside of Thybulle the Sixers have no one else who can Guard the Jays!

i thought Brad knows how important Theis is for Tatum and Brown, seeing him as a replacement for Horford and Williams if they miss some games is an understatement. The way Theis plays makes everything easier for EVERYONE. The NBA player "Theis" will work whenever players surrounding him understand how to use him, not when he has to force something. Im quite sure Daniels real upside will pop out at some point, and we´re all gonna be surprised. But not when it happens, cause nobody´s gonna notice. Greatness at second or third sight

Brad is doing a great job with what the market is for us, I agree. I know what you're saying about Danny - he mostly misfired with our recent crop of small (talent and height) drafts. But I don't blame him for the latest 3 huge signings that became a failure: Hayward, Kyrie and Kemba. At the time everybody was excited about those. And don't forget drafting Tatum in 3rd: where are Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball today? Not to mention bringing Garnett. Hey, I'm kind of glad that Danny is gone, but we owe him a lot. Go Cs! ☘

It's a delusion to think Boston has a chance at a third star. Teams demand young promising players and multiple first round draft picks. Boston obviously does not have the first part of that equation. If Ainge hadn't traded Mattise Thybulle and Desmond Bane then yea they probably would have a realistic shot at a star but Brad has to work with the cards he's been dealt.
Brad is making positive moves with a realistic vision.
