  • Getting the V rod Dyno tuned, huge difference in the way it rides now. Even though it was only a 4 hp gain from the base map, the mid-range now is much more responsive! feels totally different. Awesome job from the team at Auckland Harley Davidson.

Chur Cuzzy love the Vids, mean Muscle.... Does yours run a aftermarket tuner like a power commander etc... An if you don't mind me asking what does a dyno tune set you back? Thinking of getting my 02 Vrod done😎 cheer Bro

Thanks bro ! Nah I just got the factory one tuned up. You actually don't need an aftermarket ECU unless u go turbo or supercharged. It's roughly about 600 for the dyno and 500 for the power vision license to unlock factory ecu

Hey bro. Did you tune primarily for the performance gain or smooth running etc? Ive got a 14 night rod with same pipe etc and misses a bit in the 3-4k range, dont think its been tuned properly for the pipe hoping a dyno run will sort it

Hey bro I did a dyno just it make it run better. Also had a miss in the 3-4K rpm range but the dyno sorted it out man. Also could tell a decent difference how it runs after the dyno.

Got it on the Dyno yesterday 👌 similar numbers to yours. Went from 112HP due to it being so poorly tuned to 124HP and 88.2 torque. Runs nice now too 🤙

Do you have any mods besides the 2 in 1 exhaust? I have a 2014 vrod muscle, with a vance and hines 2 in 1 competition exhaust on mine, but I think the previous owner done some mods to it I'm not really for sure, haven't dug into the bike yet just been riding it. But one indication is the the exhaust has no o2 sensors, so the previous owner must've went into the ecu and got rid of the o2 sensors and plugged them up. Just curious cause I'd like to know the estimated dyno numbers I could be running. With me only knowing that it has just the exhaust mod done to it

Nah nothing else. Not much else to do to gain more power unless u go supercharge or turbo.
