Well said Sir - " The hardships at Siachen are equally difficult to that in a submarine". It is not easy to get qualified to get into a submarine. Only the best of the best get into the submarines.
So many beautiful perspectives can only come from a soldier. I wish it becomes mandatory to give standing ovation to our soldiers right from school to all entertainment houses.

JAI HIND. Excellent podcast. Good energyu . I did extremely well in my SSB 1978-79. Was called Tiger by the Instructor. Flunked Hindi in my degree. But for some reason was called for following course after completing my degree supplements... no UPSC NO SSB just allegedly based on my earlier performance..some aid 5th in India. . But fate is a strange thing and the telegram to join the next course reached me 13 days after the course started. I didnt take it up because 13 days is a long time and believed that I was not destined. Perhaps I missed my calling. I would have liked nothing more. AT my ripe old age I still wish I could be of service :)
All those who r going to join army after this interview.... I am a ssb rejected application and those ssb friends are still my friends.... Dont stress out live the experience that might be a beginning to a whole new life for some and might be a last true experience for some others ..would be memorable.... You will learn a lot in 5 days than u learnt in 12 years of ur school... All the best

JAI HIND. Excellent podcast. Good energyu . I did extremely well in my SSB 1978-79. Was called Tiger by the Instructor. Flunked Hindi in my degree. But for some reason was called for following course after completing my degree supplements... no UPSC NO SSB just allegedly based on my earlier performance..some aid 5th in India. . But fate is a strange thing and the telegram to join the next course reached me 13 days after the course started. I didnt take it up because 13 days is a long time and believed that I was not destined. Perhaps I missed my calling. I would have liked nothing more. AT my ripe old age I still wish I could be of service :)

Dont stress out live the experience that might be a beginning to a whole new life for some and might be a last true experience for some others ..would be memorable.... You will learn a lot in 5 days than u learnt in 12 years of ur school... All the best
