This language (latim) is very easy to understand for us that have portuguese like mother tongue, I never studied this language and understood almost everything.

Mr. Prey presents this aria in a most wonderful way. This performance of Mr. Prey and the one by Dietrich Henschel in two versions are the best I have ever heard. they are my favorites indeed. The tempo is slightly slow to my tales but quite within a most acceptable range. I have followed the career of Mr. Prey for decades and am familiar with his style but thanks to you tube I have also heard Dietrich Henschel and personally I like both. This mass deserves the best.

Oboe d'amore is the Baroque name for english horn...!

Not quite, the oboe d'amore is pitched a third under the oboe, whereas the English horn is pitched a fifth under the oboe. The oboe d'amore has a straight upper joint like the oboe. However, oboe d'amore parts can be played by English horns when period instruments are unavailable (this recording is from 1969, period instruments weren't a thing at the time anyway).
