I was a manager for a long time. When the time came to date, I did not realize I was acting like I still was a manager, not an " equal". I met a man who wants to pay for everything, and it was very hard for me. He explained he always " spoiled" his women. I was never , ever spoiled. So I said" ok". I am a good cook, so I make food, sweet treats, etc. sometimes, and he really appreciates it. I feel like it is a win- win situation. He has a lot more money than I do, so it works out. And I have been working on letting him make plans and decisions, because, frankly, I'm tired of it.( I'm a nurse). When I found out that he actually made great plans and decisions), and he has a secretary,lol, it was easier for me to " let go" of control. As far as what I wear, etc., I basically do what I want. I get my nails done, but that's about it. Those decisions, I make.

At this age, I feel that men should still be the provider and protector. Obviously this would allow the woman to be in HER feminine. It’s reciprocal!
What about 2 income families? Most homes need 2 incomes...

Jonathon I just read Tony Robbin’s comment regarding change. That change won’t happen until the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change. Yes for me when the time came no pain is too great to push through to change. And I am so glad (and so is my psychiatrist) that I did it.
My friends says to play hard to get to keep a guy, but I'm too old to play games or do not want to.

A small comment about giving. Part of giving is allowing the other person to give as well. I heard decades ago that if you can't receive-you can't give. Took me ages to get my head around that one. Way back then, I was a compulsive giver. Now, I expect equality in friendships. I need to see that I am valued . Plus, it's important to allow the other person to be generous.

Thanks for this video! It really hit on key points of what I’m went through. I’ve been dating this man for five months and his excuse for not wanting to commit to a more solid relationship is his lifestyle. To make a long story short; he doesn’t do much that would impact him in being in a committed relationship. He also expressed his fears of failing again. I’m more than understanding of this as I got out of a toxic relationship not too long ago myself. I’m a builder. Plain and simple. I’m also one of action not of words. I have dedicated so much time and effort to the point that I gave up on him. And miraculously a new man came into my life with a whole different expectation of life and his goals are similar to mine. This video just made me feel better in realizing that I was wasting my time with that other guy. Thank you for being a blessing as always ❤

Thank you, I'm sick of hearing this bs about stereotypIcal feminine energy. I don't fit into a typical stereotypical feminine view, especially at my age. I am never wearing high heels again, I don't wear fake eyelashes, or nails. I rarely even wear a dress anymore lol. And I pay my own bills. To these men on these other shows, I'm in my "masculine". Such bs, I'm a strong woman who can take care of myself period, who has my own style.

Haven't been able to get over the love I had with my first love, we were talking marriage but his family moved 300 miles away..and someone took him from me.. I was only 17 and wasn't finished with school.. I wanted to get to him when I found out but had no way to get there.. he married her..I died inside.. since then my relationships have been awful, truly.. that was about 40 yrs ago.. I have worked on everything. Tried everything but usually quality men that I am attracted to aren't interested. Only users and abusers.. I have been swimming with the alligators for many years.. still without success.. not sure why..

99.999% of my dates were only the first dates. Others that weren't they just wasted my time, tried to push my boundaries. Truth is - men on dating apps are there just for sex. So if you not look 10/10. They do not want to waste their time getting it from you, when they can get it from someone more attractive, they are not there to build something long term.
