- Masters champion Scottie Scheffler was arrested Friday morning on his way to the PGA Championship.
Stunning images showed him handcuffed as he was led to a police car.
He was arrested for second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving and not following police directions. He was booked into jail at 7:28 a.m.
Scheffler was released and arrived at Valhalla at 9:12 a.m.
Police say a pedestrian was hit by a bus on the road leading to Valhalla Golf Club. ESPN says Scheffler drove past a police car and was chased down and cuffed. - Развлечения

Scottie climbing to the top of the leader board as we speak.
Hopefully with justifiable charges
This is ludicrous.
The officer didn't have a bodycam? Sure. I think the P.D. is now trying to figure out how they get out of this mess without looking too incompetent. The truth is, they can't.
He wasn't wearing a cam because he was an accident reconstruction person. He had no business trying to conduct a traffic stop during his investigation. Directing traffic was not his responsibility, but he took it upon himself to insert himself into that situation
@heydeereman1040 he was wearing a cam. He just got "disciplined" for not activating it
@@maximo6037 not any better 😂

This is why nobody likes the police. They are so bad now!
Multiple cops giving conflicting directives resulting in a “Sophie’s choice” situation. The result is the cop takes action to escalate the situation to an unreasonable level of enforcement under color of law. Translation; cop ego was butthurt so he charges driver for contempt of cop.

The story so far:
An accident caused closure of both East and west lanes.
SS approached the traffic control officer who gave him permission and instructions to disregard the road closure.
A second officer in the middle of the closure disagreed. He put himself unnecessarily in harm’s way by attaching himself to SS’s moving car.
The officer held on to SS’s car until SS realized there was an officer hanging on being dragged.
SS opened his car door when the officer pulled him out of his car throwing him to the ground then handcuffed him.
During the absolutely stupid officers behavior he scratched his knee and complained his wrists hurt.
SS is charged with a felony endangering an officer.
Hope this goes viral so the world can see how moronic the Louisville police act.
This was a cluster fuck……apparently, several other golfers did the same this as Scottie and there were no problems.
Cool story bro.
Because that is what they were told to do by PGA and traffic control officers

This is 100% bullshit on a stick. His vehicle was clearly marked PGA and it was understood players were allowed to pass through. I hope those overzealous Barney Fife cops looking for their 5 minutes of fame have a nice day.
Tensions were risen as a result of a pedestrian struck and killed by a bus at 5 A.M. Context is important with these situations.
@@HELLSDALEyeah but was the pedestrian even close to the pga course, like that can't even hold up in court it makes no sense. The biggest issue I have is that the officer grabbed on the the car while trying to stop Scottie, putting himself in danger. Over someone not obeying directions from him, a traffic officer. He overacts. As a former police officer, I think my discretion would be to let him roll on by, get his tag number, run the tag and identify the suspect, and go get him later. Like later that morning on the 3rd green when he’s putting for a birdie on national TV.

Right the officer was dragged bc he didn't know the cop grabbed his car
If the 'assault' amounted to him driving away not knowing that the douche bag power tripping cop was holding on to his window, then that's not assault at all in my eyes.
