I know a lot of hard working people living in RVs who are enrolled in Amazon's camper program. A former colleague of mine turned to that life after he got laid off and couldn't find work. He has paid taxes his whole life and continues to. It would be great if he and others like him could get hotel room and free meal vouchers and get back some of the benefits they are PAYING for.

After experiencing poor shelter conditions and extreme weather in NY, Denver and Chicago, most will go back when offered a free ride, cities can only do just so much and only large sanctuary cities have a few facilities. They know if they dont, their time in shelters is limited, the costs of living in these cities is too high for even middle class Americans, lack of skills and not speaking English, also possibility they can be deported, detained or arrested at a later time for crimes : trafficking, child abuse, neglect, endangerment. I know a lot of hard working people living in RVs who are enrolled in Amazon's camper program. A former colleague of mine turned to that life after he got laid off and couldn't find work. He has paid taxes his whole life and continues to. It would be great if he and others like him could get hotel room and free meal vouchers and get back some of the benefits they are PAYING for.
