- As the migrant crisis continues to play out on the nation's southern border, New York City and surrounding areas are feeling the impact as more and more migrants continue to pour into the city. FOX 5 NY's Morgan McKay looks at how the city is trying to deal with the rush of migrants.

As a single tax payer I paid $9,986.00 in federal taxes last year and only received a refund for $10.00. I'm NEVER cashing my $10.00 check and will frame it on my apartment wall as a reminder not to work overtime anymore.

The situation has become increasingly unsafe for everyone involved, with conditions deteriorating quickly. The children, in particular, are at such high risk. Regardless of how people may characterize the migrants or asylum seekers, they are individuals who I believe, as time goes on, are likely to suffer significant hardships and fall through the cracks. This is an unfortunate situation for all parties involved, and those in positions of authority who have orchestrated this unprecedented event should feel a deep sense of shame.

I am curious about whether Homeland Security can equitably distribute migrants among States, and then Governors equitably distribute their share within their State?
There is no “ share” amongst the states. Not everyone wanted this. Some states and cities called themselves sanctuary cities and states. These are the states that invited them here to the US , they are the states that should be forced to take care of this problem. ALL of these migrants as you call them need shipped straight to those who welcomed them here(democrat areas) and those areas because of the corruption and theft should never be allowed to vote in a federal election again.
