"100's of people who have come in from across Texas; And even farther away" Top notch reporting right there.... About 500 people marched, from the young to elderly, women, children, grand parents, people in wheel chairs, military vets, police officers, police chiefs,,,, you name it.
Those cops opted to escalate rather than negotiate...The head of OCT left the scene of the previous contact tazed, arrested, and bleeding from a head wound...for indulging in activity sanctioned by the Constitution and Texas statute...That didn't set well with his organization...Strangely enough,,the police didn't want to debate the response....
So, I'm watching this clip on March 8th 2020 and at first I thought it was about the march that happened yesterday in Olmos Park...but it wasn't. This video clip is 2 years old and about the first incident that happened there. Obviously Olmos Park corrupt criminal police, judges, DA's and city council have not learned anything...and to be honest, why should they? I mean what happened? Everyone just came out with a 2nd open carry march and did the exact same thing as they did 2 years ago, which was nothing. Begging master to treat you better never works!
Which was nothing? Did you attend? I did. Both times! Why don't you go there yourself and burn them out. Prove the point that you're trying to make since our peaceful attempts isn't up to your expectations!
@@postingid3214 so...my point was quite clear when I stated in my very last sentence "Begging master to treat you better never works!" ...and your response to that is simply to say "well what did you do?" I did as much as you did...at least what I did amounted to the same as what you did! Now then, having said that...there's nothing wrong with the peaceful open carry march. It sends a message, but unfortunately it doesn't send the message you want or think. All it says is "hey you, bad cop, if you keep being a bad cop we are going to come back and march peacefully again. And if you continue to be a bad cop we are going to continue to come back and march peacefully" At some point, some real action needs to be done. You all (as in the marchers) said that you will make citizen's arrests if they break the law again and violate people's rights! Well I don't believe that anyone will do that. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm an expert on human nature and I understand how only a tiny minority of people have the courage to put themselves at risk to do something like that..so we will see won't we. Of course in the meantime they've gotten away with all their crimes to date with no repercussions!
History repeated itself this past Saturday,,,the gendarmes in this bustling metropolis opted to rough up yet another legal open carrier, because he was alone...Saturday's motivational seminar seemed to prove out the ratio.....any more than TWO open carriers..and these police lose their appetite for law enforcement and scurry back to their lair until the open carry walk ends...

And the lack of knowledge by the liberals calling in. Cops would help if they told these people if I respond to this call and it is lawful then you will be charged for false report. Like it or not they have a second amendment right and the police are not to be used as a tool for intimidation.
None of those men (and women) should have had their weapons in front, the ready arms position. It implies a direct and immediate threat and in the Army it would only be used when you are in a known hostile environment. They should be carrying in "sling arms", behind the back on a sling. Making your point should be done in a non-threatening manner. Carrying at ready arms is threatening. Why don't these guys learn the Manual of Arms?
That’s the safest city in America right now. You can fire all cops, not needed!
Small town Nisswa MN is a community POLICED by the people. Guess what? They DO NOT have any crime!!!!!

Olmos Park police like most bullies are cowards at heart, they didn't show themselves for fear of the world seeing them for what the truly are.

Cowards do run and hide, when it's time to really fight.
Open carry of a long gun isn't a state statute. It's in the Texas Constitution.
It's law.
Police have no 2nd Amendment only We the People!
I wish these TV stations would put the date on the screen. Why not? They put all the rest. When exactly did this air?

Well maybe you guys should ask the chief why he continues to violate civil rights since they just did another rally
Always remember criminals and cops are afraid of be recorded! Think on that!

That was a peaceful protest and he is making it sound like it was a violent one.
these armed people are doing what a real american would do
Law abiding citizens don’t cause problems. And these folks just proved it
If a permit is required, it's not a right, but a PRIVILEGE
Wrong

This will begin to happen all over America. It is about time!!!
If police just leave them alone there would’ve been no problem it’s the cop that are the issue
