I support the Shooter's restaurant and the open carry. I conceal carry and have been for many years, most people around me don't even know I have a gun on me. I'm considerate of companies that request not to bring guns into their business, so I choose not to trade with those companies that ban guns.
My brother was murdered by a felon who wasn't legally allowed to own a gun, but he still got one anyway. this is why I support people's right to legally own a gun and open carry. Criminals don't follow the law.
So let's get rid of DUIs because alcohols also don't care about the law. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE CRIMINALS WITH EVERY LAW. The whole point is to reduce it.
People that don't know like to mock those that have a gun, but those like me that never owned one then decides to buy one because of the crazy days we live in, my perspective has changed 180 degrees. I learned that it's not the gun that's a dangerous, rather the person carrying it. We should ALL be strapped, let the bad guys be bad, deal with the issue for a while, then live a happy life. There is no glory without sacrifices is what history has shown us.
That's only because everyone who's eating in there are not carrying guns but you feel protected because a set few girls have guns. Now what would your feelings be if everyone in the restaurant had guns?. THEN the situation is not so safe if someone shoots everyone shoots do you think you would not be caught in the cross fire of a small restaurant with shooters all over again that has death written all over it. Having two staff members with guns I think is better that way if someone did come in and start shooting they can shoot him hopefully reducing the number of casualties caught in the cross fire. I can just imagine a shooter walking in and everyone pulling out there guns shouting" PUT THE GUN DOWN" or "I'LL SHOOT HIM" then bang bang nobody knows wtf is going on. This is why we have forces who carry out exercises over and over to cominicate and hopefully carry out the procedure taking out the suspect without killing civilians. Hard call all this gun shit let's see what the future brings.
I don't carry. But I don't mind. I don't own guns. But stand for the constitution. And want to be able to bare arms if I feel the need. Its people who have weak minds that can't deal with a normal person having the upper hand that want the rules to benefit them. God didn't make all men equal, mr Colt did!
more ironic, women can now protect themselves from an innocent baby even 2 months out of the womb, but they can not carry firearms to actually protect themselves and others, I know it's blatant hypocrisy, the old squeaky wheel gets the grease give'em an inch they take a mile or in this case give'em a bundle of cells and they take a fully formed birthed baby, but why are they being taken seriously....where are the people putting their foot down and fighting the nonsense ??
I saw a poster with a woman holding a smoking revolver. It read. Id rather my family get me out jail than have my family try to get me out of the cemetery. Nuff said.
Exactly. They don’t know wtf they believe. “Only police should be trusted with firearms. Cops are evil government tyrants! Power to the government so they can crush individuals I disagree with! I’m so non conformist brah.. journalists hate firearms so I send people who own them death threats. Teacher, that kids not in li-ine!” Not an independent thought among them.
Your restaurant and you girls are awesome. When I grew up in the 1960's and 1970's in the Willamette Valley in Oregon it seemed like everyone had firearms. Hanging on gun racks in their house, in their pickups, glove boxes, and leaning up in the corners of different rooms. A lot of gun shows, shooting competitions, and many types of hunting. Most teenagers went through Hunters Safety at 14 years old. A lot of people open carried back then but usually when they were going hunting they'd wear a pistol large caliber. I'm a born and raised USofA American and you Colorado girls make me feel proud. I know reality is guns owned by legal responsible US citizens prevent a huge amount of crime and should be considered our most important possession.
I think that's his idea of a cleaver leftist joke. He is instead insinuating dat dem dare law abiding gun slinger's will shoot at anytang they think is wrong. Ah hell, I have always wanted to start a business that actually gave discounts for open carry patrons. Would have to spend very little of my capital on security. If you are afraid of a side arm on the hit of a citizen, then I wouldn't need your business anyway. Not once did he mention anything about the patrons who carry. The few examples of patrons interviewed only had great things to say about the place, but nothing about them also carrying. I'm not saying they were, but with his reporting, we will never know. Also, if people come from all around and it's just a 'Rifle' thing, then I am sure there are more than a few patrons there with sidearm's. But nope, you don't get to hear from them.
Now that I think about it, that might actually work. If you are that hard up for a meal that you would think that a dine and dash at a restaurant where all the staff are packing, they may just feel bad for you and buy the meal for you.

I just believe that because not everyone is trained the same that if everyone had guns there would be more deaths to bystanders and damage to surrounding areas because lets say this. In the movie theater the guy walks in and 50% of the people are armed well the people without guns will try to run and potentially getting in the cross fire leading to more innocent deaths. And I know this may not work all the time or even a 100% but its better then them not knowing at all. As gun owners its YOUR responsibility to inform properly and coherently about what's going on and what you are doing.

Dining and dashing does not warrant getting shot. Let’s just be clear. You are typically very safe around regular people carrying firearms.
Again, why must you think that gun law abiding citizens are always trigger happy?
Now that I think about it, that might actually work. If you are that hard up for a meal that you would think that a dine and dash at a restaurant where all the staff are packing, they may just feel bad for you and buy the meal for you.

And as far as cops gathering to an ongoing crime (bank being held up, ect.) i'm sure the citizens aren't going to be trying to stand by the cops with their pistols pulled.

He only left a car to steal so a high speed chase could end a life or two then he was shooting a gun in town to miss and hit some one.Now he claims he was a car jacking victim!! LOl car theft victim is more like it, he can mull it over in his cell.we have a lot of stupid shootings that guy texting in a movie shot, guy playing loud radio shot. I don't see why people are even against staff of any establishment from carrying to begin with. It's their property, they should be able to protect it and themselves.
It would make a lot of sense for school teachers to carry, at least those are want to. There is no reason why they all couldn't be trained and deputized.
I love when anti gun people say if everyone carried it would be "the wild west". That would be a good thing since gun battles in the wild west cities were extremely rare. So much so that an insignificant gun fight in Tombstone is still talked about today.

The NRA teaches gun safety.
Hollywood teaches gun glorification.
The NRA happens to be largely comprised of Conservatives. Hollywood, meanwhile, is largely comprised of Progressives. #FoodForThought.
Interesting viewpoint Atom. Not sure it's 100% true in regards to the NRA, but Hollywood definitely glorifies guns... though Hollywood guns don't seem to need reloads!
@@DragoonEnNoir But it is 100% true. The NRA offers gun safety courses around the Country and free gun safety information on their website. It's a verifiable fact.
And sadly the media and populace get their knowledge of guns from hollywood.

I live your idea. That is so cool. If I’m down in that area. I will truly visit your place. Also, your place is not violent. But your customers should truly feel safe. Love it.
Sergeant Dave Hoover is missing the point entirely. If the staff at the place where his son was shot had been carrying guns of their own then his son may well have been alive today.
He says that he won't know who the shooter is if he turns up and everyone's carrying guns, but if everyone's carrying guns it's a safe bet the shooter will already be dead by the time he turns up.
He's letting his grief cloud common sense.
I wish it was that either everyone is forced to have a gun and be trained with it or no one is allowed to have a gun (which is next to impossible).
Also the officer does have a point because what if the shooter is pinned behind a car and a 'good samaritan' is shooting at this car with the shooter behind it. My guess is that the man shooting at the car would be shot. Idk just my thoughts.
@@johnreese7352 - first look up accidental shooting of bystanders by cops. Next you cant lawfully shoot someone just for holding a gun.
@@darksensai1184 i just looked it up it seems like a lot of bystanders shot. Therefore i believe that if tons of people are armed more bullets will be shot and more bystanders will be shot. Because shooters dont care if people are armed or not. They take that chance and will commit shootings not matter what.

from 5:20 to prolly like 5:45 in this video. he has a good thought. and here's an idea for anyone that also thought this. If there ever is an active shooter situation and you yourself are involved/around the area. and are armed as well. its always your best bet first thing is to get on the phone with 911 dispatch and explain the situation what you are wearing state that what happened where your located and that u are armed as well. possibly also giving a description of the firearm you have so any arriving officers can depict who's good guy and who's bad guy. And I know this may not work all the time or even a 100% but its better then them not knowing at all. As gun owners its YOUR responsibility to inform properly and coherently about what's going on and what you are doing.
If the movie theater would have done same as restaurant, no 1 would have died that night except maybe the shooter
“ WE DON’T CALL 911, WE USE GUNS “ lmao the sign
I keep wanting the sign at the end to read as: "We DON'T CALL 911, WE USE 1911". But the gun on the sign isn't a 1911, I don't think... is that a 1908?

@@skilifavas4016 we decided that a couple hundred years ago.
Well its true that we moved from blunder busts to a semi auto pistol but people changed the way of how its used, back then it was a tool of war and a fight for whats right now its a tool for protection and the unfortunate murder of innocent people, but its not the guns problems, its the person who was probably high or wanted revenge or was simply trigger happy and mentally unstable for it.
