Whats up buddy . Wow thats some miles great to hear. Thanks for viewing and Godbless
I have a 2011 heritage my brake light keeps coming on randomly and stays on until I tap the rear pedal then it goes off but comes back on about 3 mins later without touching anything ….is that why you changed this?
Yea this can be a known fault ive seen it plenty of times. Also ive seen the total opposite where the bulb will not light at all when brake is pressed but the switch acts as if it is working when you touch both terminals with a wire the bulb lights up.
@@harleyloco1853 thank you
hello there. thank you so much for sharing this. my switch has just gone down can i ask why do you strap the brake pedel down . im no mechanic and would be so very greatful for any tips doing this thanks richard
Hi the reason i strap the pedal down is to prevent having to bleed the brake after the switch has been changed. Have faith in yourself you will do it 💪
Hi thank you so much for your reply really appreciate your time & help . I had broken down on the way to Dave day 8th June . So I will have a go myself you sound very local to me West Midlands & I have sub to ya Chanel thanks 🇬🇧👍
@@richardperry5880 ah nothin worse then breaking down. Get it done yourself check back in if your stuck or update us on if you have done it.. very simple job .. im in Birmingham buddy
Do I need to bleed the brakes afterward?
Not with this method as i locked the foot brake down so no air was allowed back in the system. But always check after if your brake doesnt feel right then bleed it.
This doesn't need a brake bleed afterwards? :o

What size wrench you use to get the switch off?
Good question off hand i cannot remember. Silly forgetting to mention it in the vlog. I will measure it tomorrow and reply back to you for sure.
