Thank you very much for such a video , I bought it for my Elantra 2014 and because of this video tutorial I did it by myself, having the tools it's really simple, why pay hundreds when you can do it by yourself thanks again my friend.
Wondering if you did a mpg highway run before and after adding. My 2017 get about 44 mpg at constant 75 no hills. Freeway only-- fill and drive run(120 miles). ? ?
Both ways release the latch but it's difficult to open the trunk. It like sticks. I have to get my fingers under the bottom of the trunk to push it up. I tried spraying WD-40 on hinges but that didn't help. Any advise?
Awesome DIY.... I want to install one to my 2018 Hyundai Sonata SEL.... Any recommendations of where I could get the part? Since at the Hyundai dealership they don't have it to fit on my vehicle... Really appreciate any input or a link.. Happy New Year...新年好 / Ty
I found this one on Ebay but you will have to get it painted. Also there is no LED on this and aftermarket spoiler don't come with new torsion bar. ebay.us/nqGDPg
After 10 years, my spoiler brake lights don't turn on (which i assume why my center brake light don't turn on too). Any ideas how to fix the spoiler brake light not turning on?
it turns out my spoiler light wires got snagged and ripped apart! I was able to strip the wires and join them again. Spoiler light works but center brake light still doesn’t work even when I replace the bulb
Gracias
With this factory spoiler, you unplug the original CHMSL (center high mounted stop light) and plug that connector to the spoiler LED. So only the spoiler LED will be on. This is how a proper factory spoiler should be connected. Sometimes you will see cars on the street with both spoiler LED, and CHMSL on. That's because it's an aftermarket spoiler and the installer simply tapped the spoiler LED onto the existing CHMSL light without removing the bulb.
I know this is an old video now , but I have the factory spoiler and my LED light on it doesn’t work. How would you install a new one ? I went to Hyundai dealer and they said they can’t get the part in since the spoilers are made by aftermarket company
Depends which spoiler you have installed. If it's an aftermarket spoiler, then the dealer can't get you any replacement parts. Also most likely they don't sell just the LED strip as a replacement. You might be out of luck on this one.
Yes it's on the list of things to do. I want to remove the tint myself first then take it to a tint shop to get it tinted. That way I save some money and don't have to pay them to do the removal. It's on my To Do list!! Hope to get it done before summer ends.
So are you going to remove the original 3rd brake light in the middle of the back window? I guess since you have tint on your car the original unconnected 3rd brake light isn't noticable.
Nice work. One of the best DIY videos I have ever watched out of thousands. Great video lighting. Great narration. Thanks a ton!

Very good to hear. Thanks for sharing!
Nice install. Definitely pays to go with factory accessories made for the vehicle.
i don't have Hyundai Elantra but that was entertaining to watch, brother. I do my own repairs and love DIY videos.
Thanks for watching my videos and for your support. Cheers!
Looks great! I had a 2013, then bought a modded 2017 Elantra
Thanks for this video. Now. I can order a suitable spoiler for my elantra
Very neat and professionally well done.
Wish you were in NY..very clean install..need to do mine now
Great video. Nice work.

Very, very great and helpful video.
Amazing detailed video...you make it look easy..but I know it is all you!
My first laugh of the day about horsepower thanks
You can do a review of the reverse camera if it is aftermarket??. Thank you
Kudos to elantra drivers❤
Great video sir. How many kilograms did you add to the car on that project?
Wow. Awesome job! You made this look so easy. 😩
Very nice, can you tell me where to buy that spoiler bro? I got my 2012 elantra m/t
Muchas gracias Mister me sirvió de mucho el viedo ya pude instalarsela al mio
Anyone know if you can buy just the pigtail connector by itself? Mine didn’t come with one
Did you ever figure this out?
Nicely done.
Looks nice. Did you do a 150 mile freeway run at 78 mph with and without to see if it helps with gas mileage at speed. Nice install video. Very clear.
Alguna forma de conseguir esa plantillas para realizar los orificios por aparte?
Great Video dial2fast. can you tell how much was the spoiler i just bought same car 2015 for my son.
Nice video friend !!
What’s that tool called to smoothen out the holes ? The more tools you got the better
It's a countersink reamer. Here is a link amzn.to/3sVXu34
Can you put a bigger spoiler for a hyundai sonata sport?

Cannot wait to try this. :) My front and back bumper is damaged > going to see if I can get some decent after market ones.
How does one replace the bulb. The break light isn’t working

awesome. great video. very neat.
Hello sir, do you have some kind of background mechanic? Cause everything you do, you do it like a pro. Lol
I have a 2017 Hyundai elentra SE, electric blue. Do you know where I can find a spoiler that comes with the templates on where to drill?
Awesome DIY....

Where did you purchase the spoiler and how much you paid for it?

hi, where do you buy this product and how much did it cost ?
Got a 2020 Hyundai elantra se. Will the 2016 rear spoiler fit this trunk lid as well?
No it will not fit.
So if you connect this spoiler, will the little brake light in the back windshield stop working?

Send link where you got spoiler…

Perfect neat
How can remove that?
Please send me measure of the sketch
does it come with the touch up paint?
No it does not. You can pick up a bottle at your local auto parts store, and the color doesn't have to be exact match.
The links do not open for me
I always wondered how much more speed a car gets with a spoiler, or is it mostly for looks?
🤣
Spoiler doesn't add speed its for looks only , unless its a RWD car with at least 350 hp and are going to be going more than 85 mph
@@heberaragon4360 It helps to keep the wheels grounded on light weight cars by supplying down force. Not just for looks.
nice
Where sale that spoilet
Moro no Brasil e onde achei não faz envio :-(
Could you please make a video on how to install 360 degree birdview surround camera for my 2018 Honda Odyssey.. Thanks.
I have the same spoiler and I m currently looking to replace the LED light, does anyone know where I find it ?
Walmart.
My car is not racing car or a Ferrari or jaguar why should I install it's an ordinary carn
Nice. Seems like a rather easy install. PS: Time to reinstall the tint on the back window, no?

The 3rd brake light does not need to be removed. If you remove it there is a hole with no carpet on the rear deck.
