I use Premier Pro for work, but I prefer Filmora 14 at the moment. It's faster, it hasn't crashed on me like Premier has, and it has every AI tool you can imagine (which just speeds up the editing process greatly). I like Premier Pro, but I would recommend Filmora. Especially for those wanting to take their editing to a more intermediate/pro level. Think Media, you should do a review of Filmora. 🌞
I started filming my intro’s and outro’s AFTER the video itself is edited and done. It makes it easier to set up what’s happening in the video and outro is just a summary and plugs. Makes it easier. Not so much faster but your overall quality of content will improve. Take care! Hope it helps someone. ✌️
@@ahmedtymour6301 The newest version will only run on high end desktops. I’m still using version 16 and my laptop is just powerful enough to run it. Awesome program.
@9:00 I have not used it for a long time, but my reason for rejecting the current Final Cut Pro was FILE MANAGEMENT. FCP made these huge files, and I could not sort out the footage I did not need when I archived... And the magnetic timeline was stupid, and did not allow multiple versions of an edit, like Adobe Premier does. IMHO
I enjoy using Filmora, and I was able to get the basics really well however as of a recent update, I can't even use Filmora due to it freezing as soon as I open the Program. So im trying to find a good replacement
I’ve been using cap cut and one of the features that is a must is the ai captions so the fact that Final Cut Pro doesn’t have this is a huge downside …
Thank you for this video. As a beginner editor, I have been using capcut mobile to do all my edits. Once I outgrow capcut, I will probably move to Davinci because of its one time fee vs monthly with Premier
I started tinkering with Resolve after the peanut butter and jelly tutorial you did. That was an excellent beginner tutorial. How about a very beginner Fusion effects for the PB&J video.
Thanks,I’ve been editing home movies in ytp style for fun on my ipad mini but find i movie very frustrating - for example chopping/changing audio accurately. It’s generally just too limiting and doesn’t allow enough manual control. I’ll look into Capcut or Davinci Resolve. Thanks again.
What, no Wondershare/Filmora?😅 Im stuck using it as an editing software atm. I have over 150 videos edited on it and feel like Im stuck with it now. Im thinking about switching over to either paid CapCut or DaVinci but its hard to find the time to relearn new software...😢
I used Filmora Go for the first 4 yrs. Then wondershare bought it & screwed it all up! I could not follow it anymore. I have TBI (Tramatic Brain Injury) & editing is a struggle. When Filmora glitches non stop & would close out all the time, I would lose my entire project! It was infuriating! I finally tried to uninstall the app in order to re install it in hopes that would fix the glitching. Then SURPRISE! It was no longer compatible with my phone! 😢 I had no way to edit! I was devastated! I can't afford to pay for a good editing app. So I searched...for 2 YEARS! And I finally found Splice! It was the only FREE app I could navigate & had all the features I wanted & was used to with Filmora! So I decided to pay the one time fee of $20.00 for lifetime use & got it on all of my devices! I still use it to this day & love it! Only hitch? Shutterfly bought a lot of the songs that come with the app. So I started getting copyright claims on the songs. These will make it impossible to ever monetize a video. I was able to scrub them out using YT studio on my laptop & replace with music from the YT library, without having to take the video down to fix it, which would have cost me all views, comments & likes, so that was nice. I still use splice to edit, but I had to remove YT Studio app off my phone so it would allow me to go to the desktop YT Studio library, to download songs that are copyright free onto my phone, which I can use through the Splice app. Been great ever since! 😃 So in conclusion, Splice is a great, simple editing app that's great for beginners, but if you ever want to monetize, NEVER use the music in the app! ALWAYS download songs from RUclips Studio, Music Library! As for feeling trapped, just save the videos on an SSD drive on your pc.. Then you won't lose them if you decide to leave Filmora. Hope this helps! 😉

It might be worth looking at the videos by Daniel Batal. I haven't watched a lot of them, but he was (I believe) an official partner with Filmora until he made videos about the controversy and they tried to strike his video. He now is all in on DaVinci and makes tutorials for it, which means they're made by someone coming from a Filmora background, so that might end up helpful to you. But I definitely get where you're coming from. I haven't done a lot of video yet, but when I have I've used Premiere. I'd like to move to DaVinci but it's so much time to learn something new. Plus I still have to pay for Adobe until I find and learn replacements for Photoshop and Illustrator...
We like Riverside, StreamYard, etc. But usually those would be confined to a live interview workflow and use the built in editor tools to clean up a live stream with a guest. Not a dedicated editing platform.
Is Davinci resolve, Finalcut Pro compatible with windows on a laptop? Right now I am using Gopro 11 for all my videos, Can these softwares convert those video to a 4K quality when uploaded on RUclips?
All the talk about editing seems to be too tech minded to me, and time is our most valuable asset. Why not just leverage your time and source out editing and have changes made by folks that are more on task and knowledgeable. Budget yes, is an issue that seriously needs to be addressed and considered but as a beginner and someone that values what time I am blessed with, the various programs and software mentioned seem too much and would possbly lead to frustration and disappointment . Thanks for your evaluation though as the information will be of great value to many others who may not think the same way as just mentioned...🙏
After 6yrs using vegas pro 13 I decided I'd like to try a more recent software, so I tried resolve. Things went well intially but after a few months I started getting the playback while watching through a clip I'd added to the video freeze, and pausing and unpausing after going back a few seconds wouldn't fix it. I found out about generating optimised media but it took longer than the clip I was optimising. After some frustration I went back to vegas 13. Did anyone else have this issue where playback would just randomly freeze?
So I have a pc and tablet but an apple phone. My talking head videos are going to be shot on an Osbot tiny webcam onto the laptop but I will be doing some shots on my iPhone for b roll and social media. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to get the footage from my iPhone to the PCs? I’m not above making the switch to android. I just want the smoothest easiest experience so I can focus on other things lol
two things to note.. with adobe premier pro is that it locks you in for yearly contracts and if you cancel no matter what time you cancel could be the day before you get charged a cancellation fee. i recently canceled mine on the week before the annual turn over and it still charged me $44 to cancel when ive paid for the month uptil the turn over.. if you try to cancel like just after the annual turn over youll be charged like $500 fee to cancel the full year... the 2nd thing is adobe is stealing everyones work and training thier A.I so really all buisness are kinda fucked having their data train A.I and not that long ago caught some backlash for thier TOS saying they own peoples work if its done in adobe.

DaVinci Resolve is so powerful and there’s so many great resources available for it.

I'm here because capcut now want money to make the best edits
it sucks for banning capcut
Yeah I’m here because of the ban 😩
I'm here because capcut got banned. Though I did find a way to get it back, I would rather have a video editing app from America and not China.
Use vpm
Resolve is a bit hard to learn, but it does a great job job

When is the RUclips create app for iOS coming out? No one‘s mentioning anything about it for iOS….! Thanks so much!!!
CapCut is more efficient at utilizing disk space than Final Cut... I still don’t understand how/why FCP consumes so much disk space.
Thank you....God bless
