  • In this video I am going over a project where I made a several custom sets of grips for an old model, three screw single six that I have. The grips that came on the gun were not original and not good at all. What I will go over are some of the very basics of making a silicone mold to custom cast your own grips. This is part one of a multi part series where I will go more in depth on how to make a custom mold and make custom grips for a hand gun that you have and maybe even for profit.

I have a suggestion for a grip, soldiers in ww2 would use plexiglas from crashed planes and windows to make clear transparent grips on their 1911 service pistols, but before screwing the grips on they would put a picture of their gal or loved one behind the plexiglas, thus making a custom personal grip, these are called "sweetheart grips", look them up they are incredible, and I think they would be a good idea for a grip.

Please make grips for a peacemaker colt "pellet" revolver. Umarex/colt make ivory-Nickle only for the BB version (or at least I searched everywhere and couldn't find an ivory-nickel color for the pellet version of this peacemaker revolver). I just ordered the pellet version but I'm really hoping to change those ugly plain black grips for some ivory ones. Its just that I really preferred pellets over BBs but had to sacrifice the nice ivory grips. THE TRICKY PART is that these grips have certain small lips so it pops right in instead of screwing it (the screw on the ivory grips is just for looks. If you can add that it would be so cool!!). Please respond with good news. Thanks!

OMG it's a gun! I can assume at this point that you haven't thought of the children, not even once!
Srsly though think of the children, the Savage Rascal is a great kid-size starter gun.

C'mon A.A.-ron! Of course I haven't thought of the children! Otherwise, why would I ever consider even looking at a gun, let alone making grips for one?
