In this video, Lewis shows step by step how he casts his own mold for 1911 grips and then demonstrates how to form the grips themselves.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
A hot glue gun
Styrofoam or other material to build your mold box
Pane of glass for base of mold box
Xacto knife
Silicone molding kit
Epoxy resin compound
Ink dye
Paper towels
Popsicle sticks or other methods of stirring
Cheap 1911 grips to make your mold

No thats a couple drops of black carefully placed. The epoxy is thick enough that the dye wont spread unless you physically mix it. So you essentially pull the color where you want it to go.
