I'm really thinking about getting this mouse, but not sure if the price is worth. UPDATE: The price is definitely worth it. The thing feels like an orgasm in my hand. 2022 Update: Still going strong. Outside of some worn out rubber on the side grips, it still feels brand new.
To those who bought it - can i ask if you guys got wired or wireless? Why and how does it feel? I'm currently contemplating between those 2. I don't really have a large desk, my current mouse feels good but the scrolling wheel is loose and sometimes my wire get in the way so yeah. I'm thinking of getting a QcK Mini as well.
Gavin Pang if you're using it for casual to semi competitive kind of games. get the wireless. Spend a couple more bucks to clear the wire issues because logitech wires tend to get heavy and drag around if no proper routing of wires. Tbh wireless and wired doesn't feel diff (in terms of signal input) and if the wireless battery runs out. it recharges pretty fast. not bad
I haven;t found anyone who gives us half as much information. Nobody looks at sensor quality, what grips a mouse is suited to, or often even weight. Most people just tell us how good or bad they think the mouse looks, and if the RGB is up to snuff.
I've updated the Top 20 for September 2016... www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-20/ This is taking the #1 spot as a prediction, mainly because it's pretty much perfect and will take a lot of votes away from other mice in the Top 10, but we'll know exactly where the Logitech Pro and G403 place once the community gives them a try. I think they're amazing though and hope we see more mice of this level. I think companies will have to have the same kind of specs + give us new and better shapes to compete. How do you like the new measurement recommendations? I kept having to explain that each end of the scale wouldn't be as good, so at least this has a visual representation of that. Red zone = maybe not too good, but possibly ok.
Rocket Jump Ninja Hey brother, I think you are one of those guys who really knows what he is saying, I mean your reviews are super detailed and zero bullshit. The fact that you are a pro gamer yourself makes them even more genuine. Unfortunately there are no MOBA pros like you who review mice or other hardware, so can you tell me which would be the best mouse for MOBA's right now? My friend had a Deathadder and I felt the clicks were lighter and snappier than my G302. The G302 just doesn't feel right in my hand, I am a palm type and what I am looking for is a slightly larger mouse that feels good and has amazing clicks. I need light actuation, fast rebound.
Yep, hopped on the G502 bandwagon a while back but its shape and weight is way too funky imo, these mice look like they're hitting the sweet spot much better!
+Lagahan I don't know for myself because I don't own them, I have only felt and seen them at local stores attached to shelf things where you can feel how comfortable the mouse, but to me the G402 feels better, just maybe get a mouse bungee with the extra money. The cable is stiff rubber and has a lot of drag on it. I don't really know because I haven't actually gotten a gaming session where I was able to use them.
Yes G403 is so simple but so good! Best mouse I’ve ever had. Propably if it brokes I will go for another one. Only problem on my one is a sensor lag which sometimes comes, but it is only my problem.
Watching this video while having my own G403 wireless, purchased through your amazon affiliate link feels nice. Once again thank you for your work, and have a nice start and a successful 2017!
Rocket Jump Ninja Will the wireless version perform the exact same way as the wired version when the usb cord is plugged in all the time? I mean latency/accuracy wise, your answer will determine my purchase. :)
I highly recommend this mouse. It feels like it is glued in my hand when I play thanks to it's amazing rubber skin. It fits perfectly in my hand. (19.5cm/10cm) Sensor works also great. If you are oldschool gamer like me and miss MX518 I would highly recommend to get G403 prodigy. I had Razer Deathadder Chrome before and it was nothing like this. All clicks are solid. Mouse works perfectly with SS QcK+. 10/10
Yes, only slightly though. G403 Build quality is much better and is slightly smaller than the deathadder. I ended up getting a g403 and its almost perfect, if it was ever so slighty smaller it would be my perfect mouse. Its like a better DA in almost every way
Thanks! Hmm that's the first I've heard of that. They feel like Omrons, and I heard Logitech usually use Omrons, whether they're updated to be their own, like Razer make their own "mechanical keyboard switches", I don't know. It's been a while since the review, so I don't remember where I got the information. I don't think it matters that much though, it's more about how they feel.
Agree, they really feel like Omrons, but on IFA click was awful, and on my question about switches they told me that is not Omrons. I think it was something like tier1 sample, or something like that. Anyway, thank for your videos, I make videos about gaming devices too and love your channel :)
Having daily'd the wired version of this mouse for over two years I can say it's amazing with only one downside. The scroll wheel becomes loose over time but nothing horrible I love it
Great review as always. One thing I'd change though is the hand size guide. I prefer the old style as it was easier to read, this one looks kinda messy. Just my opinion though.
Rocket Jump Ninja Yeah, it just seems a bit unnecessary to have all the possible measurements when some of them are out of the suggested range. The suggested grip for the size could be done a bit better graphicaly, maybe somehow implemented in the table itself.
I've had this idea for months... and this was the best I could actually think of doing haha If you figure something else out, I'm more than happy to take suggestions!
Rocket Jump Ninja No problem. One thing, that I can think of from top of my head right now to try to make it look better, is to make an extra column in between the measurements in inches and cm and put the bars for the grip suggestions there.
This is the greatest mouse ever made for CS:GO. I used to use the mx518, then it was discontinued. Went to the g400s, then it was discontinued. Freaked out because i never thought i could find a replacement. Tried the g402/g502, and while they were similar shape to the mx518, it just wasn't the same and my aim was not like it used to be. Found out about this mouse through sheer serendipity, and holy shit balls. Felt great in my hand right out of the box, didn't have to get used to it, it was just like natural to me. Now i'm hitting shots i've never hit before. It's unreal. If you are like me and really picky about mice because you play FPS, please give this mouse a try, it's a perfect mouse.
Man, I've got to say you make awesome in - depth reviews that most probably help people decide whether they are going to purchase the product or not. This video helped me make my decision on buying the G403 and my god it's the best mouse i have come across. Cheers for helping me and probably many others out and keep the good work up with these well thought out reviews. :)
@@coows after giving this mouse a second chance after using the deathadder elite I realized that I just had to get used to the shape and it's now my favorite mouse
Your hand size guide really helped me to find my new perfect fit, thank you. I've always struggled with aiming with all of the ill-fitting mice I've used since first building my PC. Thank you.
Honestly I can not thank you enough RJN. Your reviews have helped me so much on my purchase. Since I live in the UK and not many shops stock gaming gear (I'm pretty much forced online). With my hand size 20cm x 10cm, 131 stance and fingertip grip finding the right mouse has always been tough for me (always feel tiny/awkward/hand cramp). Going from the G600 to the G403 I literally could not put into words the difference in sensors how similar the comfort level is (G600 slighty more comfy for me but similar) - I watched your vid on sensors too, decided the 3366 was what I needed. Such a small thing but it makes a world of difference. It has changed my whole gaming experience. Thanks again & keep up the good work.
I have watched many MANY youtube videos on computer hardware that are very basic and only really go over the obvious specs. Truely disecting a product the way you do here should be the norm ! Im someone who knows alot about hardware attributes and some of the stuff you tested ive never even herd of before. For instance the "1 cd" sensor activation test I thought was very clever. People with low sense that pickup there mouse alot dont want the sensor to activate before the mouse is placed back on the pad. Anyways youve earned another sub.
First off thank you Zy for great reviews, you've made finding the right mouse much easier, and to me enjoyable. So I got this mouse after using a Zowie EC2-A for most of the year. Their shape is pretty much identical, but the reasons I prefer the wired G403 has to do with the the rubberized grip finish on the G403 and the scroll wheel. The way I grip my mice which is close to a claw style grip meant that the gloss finish on the Zowie would start to hurt my hand after extended use, as I was using more force to grip the mouse with my thumb and pinky finger. The scroll wheel is much more friendly to me in day to day use on the G403, I did not enjoy browsing with the Zowie as the way it scrolled felt very slow, even after messing with windows scroll settings it never felt right. While both mice have ok/mediocre side buttons the G403's feel more responsive. Another nice thing about the G403 is being able to adjust the LED lighting on the mouse, I set mine pretty dim with a timed auto-off, it requires using the Logitech 3rd party mouse software, but I find I like having macro and lighting options available. Both mice preformed well in-game, so for me it came down to comfort and day to day usability. I've really enjoyed the last few months with the G403.
Great to have someone acctually do a full review of a product. Seems like a rarity nowadays on youtube. people just seem to pump videos for the sake of it ... This is very detailed and has some good footage. Thank you Zy
Just wanted to say that his review convinced me to purchase the 403 Wireless. So far it's a solid upgrade to my Rival 300. I appreciate what you do, and hope you keep making these videos.
After building my first PC I wanted to know what the best type of keyboards, and especially mice to get. I've always had Logitech mice in the past but I was never a hardcore gamer on PC so I'd just buy the simple cheap ones. And I gotta say, I'm so damn happy I found your channel because you go so in depth in your reviews I absolutely love it. I just bought this mouse and used your amazon affiliate too. As well as the corsair mousepad. Thank you so much for what you do and keep it up. Cheers mate. ❤️
I must say THANK YOU! Just got myself G403 wired to replace Rivel 300 with worn out coating and mouse 3 (wheel in) double-clicking. G403 is sculptured like... i can not explain better that it feels like a custom made for me specially, by order. Light us a feather. Where choosing by you recommendations, my hand is 20cm long and 11 wide. Shape, buttons, sensors, coating - is top notch! Wire is thick, but cable bungee resolves that. Thank you, your content is not only highly entertaining, it is truly useful !!!
I actually ended up loving my G pro instead of the 403 as I realized when I went to best buy and found out the g pros shape and size was way more suited for me, he's right, there's no perfect mouse, find the one that fits you!! tyvm rocket ninja, keep doing what you do
I have both, and personally like the G403 more as the materials feel nicer, and my hand fits both perfectly, also the buttons on the g403 are better, but besides that they are both incredible mice
Update : just got the mouse, feels great with little time to adjust (i've used my old mouse for 4 years). I think it suits people with flexible grip styles. I have a mouse with zowie ec1/d.adder kind of shape. 18.5x9.~, palm-fingertip hybrid (palm barely touch the top-back)
I'm a mouse freak since the early Logitech mouseman line before opticals came out. I've been trying and testing mice since then and I'm the "go-to" guy for the mouse recommendations. Now, I'm channeling people to your channel :). Great review again.
I finally bought G403. And according to your guide I measured my size and chose it and its just great. Looks like made for me. Thanks for proper guidance RJN. Cheers
Great review as always, I've been watching a lot of your videos the past month. But I just wanted to take a second to acknowledge those last 2 clips. Holy shit dude lol
I can honestly say after trying multiple different mice in the past year this one is definitely the best. Shape is comfortable, sensor is perfect, buttons are good, scroll wheel is light and not too loud, and the side and dpi buttons have not alot of travel distance and arent flimsy and the wire is very flexible.
@@JinjaOnHere well maybe not his own but something like a collab with lg or roccar or so, dude has the best mice videos on this platform, people got collabs for less. and i would love if that collab mouse would be simple and clean 50 dollar mouse like the g403. i think that mouse would be really good and afetr a couple youtubers do reviews will sell and my man here would get some deserved subs. ( i have a Vision, trust me hire me as Manager RJN hahaha)
I think I'm buying this since its from Logitech, should fit my hand according to your guide and I trust you cuz you're literally the best mouse reviewer there is.
After checking a few reviews somebody mentioned you for a "real review`' and I assumed another person claiming a real review was fake, but you bring it man keep it up. I appreciate your input and damn, finally helped me decide on this mouse (wired). Only question is, in anyones opinion, is a bungie necessary?
Thanks! I'd use a bungee... mainly because ever since I got one, I can't go back to not having one. They're just too good. I was fine using the G303 without a bungee though, same cable, just put it under something heavy or stick it down somehow.
I should invest in one soon. Do you have any reviews on mouse pads or have you found they all produce similar results? I'm currently using just table top surfaces since my mouse doesn't seem to react well to my mouse pad : /
Hey there, Calvin. I'd definitely recommend getting a mouse bungee if you can get your hands on one. They make wired mice feel practically wireless and they'll keep your desktop looking nice. I know Zy has the Zowie Camade but they've been unavailable on Amazon for a bit now so I had to look for alternatives. I've personally tried the Razer Mouse bungee and the Thermaltake Galeru. I wouldn't recommend the Razer one, if you have a rubber mouse cable it'll get chewed up pretty badly and if you have a thicker/braided cable it won't even fit (have multiple mice myself). The Thermaltake Galeru however will do neither and it has a much heavier base so it won't slide around. I definitely recommend the Galeru, but just note that it does cost more than some of it's competition on Amazon but it's well worth the money.
Thanks Zy, I bought this mouse based on your recommendation and I'm loving it....I have 19.5cm/10cm hands and this mouse fits perfectly in my hands! I play mostly MOBAs but this mouse works well for every game and every grip style....Cheers mate!
I just got this mouse and I love it. I have a 19.5 cm x 11 cm hand and the mouse feels so good in my hand using palm grip. My fingers go over the mouse buttons just a little, but it's only the tip of the fingers so you don't feel it at all when you click. One warning though: If you're the type of person who likes to pick up the mouse when playing a FPS game, this mouse might be too big for you if your hand width is less than 11 cm. Otherwise, there's no problem and the mouse will still feel comfortable if you have a slightly smaller hand.
I am not sure. I bought a g403 for testing (i have the ec2-a) but i didn't like it in my hand. I find it to be a little short and wide for my liking and the slightly elevated edges at the sides (01:55) bothered me because it felt "unatural", like a foreign thing in the mouse that should not be there. The ec2-a feeling in my hand is close to perfection (19x10.5cm), the only things i dont like about it is the scroll wheel and the side buttons, but shape and comfort in my hand is above everything else.
I use a claw grip, and have recently purchased the G403 (Wired), G Pro, and FK2, and to my surprise, so far the FK2 is looking to be my favourite despite being the least "technologically" advance mouse and not having any software for tweaking. This is mostly due to the shape (As Zy mentioned) and the pads. The G403 is great but a little too high for my liking, which I've come to realise how I don't like high mice. The G Pro is much better, but its biggest flaw is in the mouse feet, its too small and it glides rougher than I would have hoped. The Zowie FK2 fills the spaces inbetween the G403 and G Pro. It has only two mouse feet, but they are large and glide effortlessly (Using an Artisan Hayate Otsu mouse pad for those who are wondering) And the shape although slim, is long enough for the back of my palm to rest on it while I play. The side buttons are still very accessible despite being smaller and less tactile than the G Pro. The only drawback I can nitpick about the FK2, are the buttons and scroll wheel, more of the latter though as it is very loud and too tactile for general use. Not a deal breaker, but something to take note of. If you watched Zy's review on the FK1 and FK1+ he did mention the same thing as well, and I agree with him. Overall I would rank these 3 mice from the most favourable to least, FK2 > G Pro > G403. I will try and offload the G403, but might keep the G Pro a little while longer in case I change my mind. They are all fantastic mice in their own right, and as always there is no such thing as perfect. And to give Logitech credit where its due, I really like the direction they are going with their gaming mice, the G Pro is by far the BEST Logitech mice I have ever used, its a shame they had to settle for such tiny mouse feet.
Zy is definately right when he says the size guide is a rough estimate and you should try a mouse before knowing it's for you. I thought the G403 would be perfect for my hand to palm (19.5cm), however the way I grip caused it to slip out of my hand and was overall uncomfortable. Back to using my ec1-a with tennis grip tape on it for the time being, the search for the perfect mouse continues. I'd LOVE a remastered G400 with 3366. No gimmicks, no weird sniper buttons like G402
There is an offer on Amazon.de now, valid for roundabout another 12h. I purchased a wireless one, forgot your affiliate-link. Canceled the order and repurchased through your link - hope this works. Never done it before, and there is nothing indicating an affiliation during the ordering process. Thank you once again for your great work!
Hey, thanks for the thought! Really nice gesture, maybe if I see more activity on .de I'll promote it more again. Seems most people watching this channel are from the US.
Watched this video and bought the mouse, I am a bit amazed how well everything was covered in review when comparing to actual product. Keep up the good work!
I'm going to travel and leave my desktop pc, as I'm going to game on a laptop I'm planning to replace my G9x (I use it with the other shell) to the G403 Wireless. My main game is CS:GO, playing competitive, with wireless, have you notice any lag, flicking and so one? Or you recommend the G Pro? Claw gripping btw
The frag at 9:14 is insane. Watch it, and then watch it again. Notice how he has the *tiniest* window of opportunity to get that shot, with a fraction of a second for room for error. If you told me that was a bot I'd be convinced entirely.
I might just have to buy the wireless. Coming from g602. I'm gonna miss my 5 months battery life and 6 programmable buttons, but it's for a greater good. Can you use it while charging?
@@Shadow77999 yup. Most gaming mice have like 24 hours of battery life max lol. I used the g602 for months at a time between charges. Now I've switched over to the g900. Less battery and fewer buttons but a much lighter and better-feeling mouse
Mine just died on me after a year or so, decided to see if Logitech support would even do anything. After like two e-mails back and forth, they sent a replacement G703 since the G403 Wireless was discontinued. yeah i think i'm a logitech guy now
It was crazy how easy it was, I was expecting a strenuous process to just maybe get a replacement, but it was basically no questions asked. They gave me a couple troubleshoot ideas, nothing worked, so they asked for my shipping info and what color G703 I wanted.
I just bought the wired version of this mouse. It was a tough choice, but I picked it over a G502 mouse. The G502 has too many buttons, very easy for me to miss click them. I have large hands and this G403Pro felt much better in the hand. I bought it at Best Buy and got it priced matched for $50.00 on Amazon. This mouse replaces a tired old Razor Deathadder 3.5G mouse. The G403Pro feels somewhat like the Deathadder. I like that. I would have bought another Razor mouse but the double clicking issue and middle wheel mouse/left mouse button flaws steered me clear. Excellent review! /Subbed
I've been using the EC1A for the last year and it's great. Super comfortable but a bit big even for my full grown man hands. Just ordered G403 Wired on EBay for $46 brand new with free shipping. Excited to try it out.
Great review as ever Zy. Only reviewer whose opinion I can relate to and consider a true FPS gamer. Had my G402 for 2 years, had the MX518 for many years before that, now got the G403 Wired, size and shape isn't the same but feels very familiar and comfortable. More comfortable than the G402. Got a slight rattle from scroll wheel but not enough to concern me whilst playing. Love the sensor for CSGO and Borderlands. Playing without the weight. One very happy customer. Bought the mouse mainly off the back of this review/Logitech quality.
Would you say the shape is completely different to the MX518? I've been looking for a new MX518/G400 copycat since they've been discontinued and are way overpriced now, 1000hz would be nice too.
It's certainly not designed as a direct replacement in my opinion. The left is flat instead of round with a thumb groove. I would highly recommend it though, it feels great and comfortable.
I don't find my g403 wide at all. In fact, I find it a bit thin. I used to use a Razer Deathadder then went to the G303 for about 2 years and for Christmas, I received a g403 and absolutely love this mouse. I played very well with my g303 but and likes its shape but the shape still hurt my hand. But I still play really well with the g403 and it is more comfortable. Thank you for your reviews Zy. Been a sub for a long time now and you never disappoint with your reviews.
My hands are also 20.5. I picked up the G403 today and it feels great, especially when compared to the G500 I was using. The difference in the sensors is really night and day. I tend to use finger tip grip or claw on this mouse. I also tested the Deathadder Elite while I was in the store and it did feel amazing in my hand. I wound up choosing Logitech, as I've used Logitech mice since I bought the MX510 many moons ago. I'd also like to try the EC1-A at some point if I can get ahold of one.
the g403 is very comfortable, but the wheel is a little loose, I have not used the ec1-a. You should try both before buying one (I am currently using the Razer Deathadder Elite, I consider it good but a little big for me
My dad and I both had a lot of mouse problems lately. His Zowie EC2-A had a dead scroll wheel and missed inputs a bunch lately and my Rival 310 was constantly false scrolling and had some build issues with the grips. Dad went to Best Buy and got one, he loved it. My Rival 310 died 24 hours later and I got mine and love it too. Crazy how much better a mouse this was for $32 versus the $60 I spent before.
I want to say thank you! You are the reason i purchased g403 without checking. (Didn`t even open the box in the store!) Did everything you said how to measure for the right size and this mouse beside the other greatness is a perfect fit! ( Razer Deathadder 2013 started double clicks after 2 years ) Watched a lot of tech reviews but you sir are the most sincere and detailed reviewer on youtube and because of you i now own a great mouse. Thank you once more and hope you expand your reviews to other tech branches. All the best from Serbia. Frisky303 (If we ever meet in the Arena! :D )
Rival 300 is a old mouse an Logitech g403 wired is the new mouse, have the best senzor on the market PMW 3366 better then Zowie, DeathAdder, and Rival 300.
This interests me as well. With a 19 cm hand I thought about buying the rival 300 or deathadder chroma. What is your reason for ranking the G403 above them? Thank you for the review.
I think he means some fit others better/have different buttons for different styles of games etc. You wouldn't use a MOBA mouse for FPS for example. I think "there is no such thing as a perfect mouse" still stands.
th3cookie No, it is literally the best mouse ever made. Fucking get one and try it before coming here and de-railing my thread without ever even fucking hearing about it.
Had this mouse for 4 years now, I also move it around A LOT, 0 problems. An amazing product. (I also have pretty big hands but it isn't necessary for this mouse. It's so good and comfortable)
@@harut4788 The feel with the 2 side buttons is awesome, very responsive. I use them both in every game, u can put your thumb just below the buttons and this is very comfortable, I bought this mouse for 50 bucks and it's worth every penny
Castor has a bad scroll wheel placement too. Felt awkvard to use it and never got completely used to it. I RMA'ed it because of a bad scroll wheel later (noisy). I'm waiting for G403 and G Pro to arrive at my doorstep.
These reviews are so amazing! I am about to buy a mouse and I have seen most of your videos. There hasn't been a single video where you have missed anything and I just might buy this! Thanks a lot man!
ive had this mouse since christmas, and its absolutely amazing. I have the wireless version. It is comfortable in my hand, the clicks feel good, and i aim amazingly with it
End of 2021 update. The scroll wheel now rattles, but otherwise no issues. No double-clicking. Nothing falling off. Good mouse, going to be retiring soon for the G303.
good to know, hope mine also hasnt got that problem, cause i once had it without even knowing what it was and it cost allot of time to permanently close those extra windows aso
my dad was getting me the g600 becuz it was 25 dollars and i was like no plz i hate MMOs and MOBAs plz get me FPS mouse and then I showed him this mouse and he surprisingly agreed. i have chosen my first gaming mouse thx to u. i love ur mouse reviews dude. its a very competitive world out there with so many to choose from. u helped me in that process. thx
@-blazphix games- the g600 has 15 buttons all on side, is very old, has absolutely no change able dpi. And it is very bulky to hold, which is the exact opposite of a mouse I prefer for shooters.
I'm really thinking about getting this mouse, but not sure if the price is worth.
UPDATE: The price is definitely worth it. The thing feels like an orgasm in my hand.
2022 Update: Still going strong. Outside of some worn out rubber on the side grips, it still feels brand new.
i had the same exact reaction when I held it
TheSaiyanKing Being a peasent i went to my local best buy and got hold of it. it felt amazing
lol that update xD.. got one yesterday
Tbh wireless and wired doesn't feel diff (in terms of signal input) and if the wireless battery runs out. it recharges pretty fast. not bad
Thanks to Logitech for giving you the mice and to you for making the videos.
This is my go-to place for mouse reviews.
I haven;t found anyone who gives us half as much information. Nobody looks at sensor quality, what grips a mouse is suited to, or often even weight. Most people just tell us how good or bad they think the mouse looks, and if the RGB is up to snuff.
I find HardWareCanucks to also be enjoyable to watch with plenty of information. That is IF you actually have been looking for reviewers.
Demetri has been known to steal video dialog from Zy so stick with this channel please.
You have the best mouse reviews. Very in depth and informative reviews. Thanks dude.
agreed
So true. he really helps me out
100% acourate
Luka klep, it's accurate. Work on your english dude
But i agree 100% on what u just said
do you know why the sensor is slightly angled. gpro its straight

I've updated the Top 20 for September 2016... www.rocketjumpninja.com/top-20/
This is taking the #1 spot as a prediction, mainly because it's pretty much perfect and will take a lot of votes away from other mice in the Top 10, but we'll know exactly where the Logitech Pro and G403 place once the community gives them a try.
Red zone = maybe not too good, but possibly ok.
great review! you basically helped me choose with your opinion as I am torn between which one to get.
I like the new measurement its much more clear imo.
well fuck i just bought an ec2
yes the visual chart is great!
mattiik If your hand is under 18.5cm, your made the right choice, even with this available.
you're like the most purest form of mouse reviewer anyone can imagine, both knowledge and skill wise.
agreed.
I've been seeing a fair bit of hate around lately, so I really appreciate that you think this. Thanks for the kind words!
well said brother. Do you happen to know the Fenrir from Dota 2 by any chance?
marcusrat44 nah man, but it's a pretty common ign I guess
Rocket Jump Ninja Hey brother, I think you are one of those guys who really knows what he is saying, I mean your reviews are super detailed and zero bullshit. The G302 just doesn't feel right in my hand, I am a palm type and what I am looking for is a slightly larger mouse that feels good and has amazing clicks. I need light actuation, fast rebound.
Logitech is going very simple on his mice, that is good!
Did u just assume the mouse's gender ?

Watching this video while having my own G403 wireless, purchased through your amazon affiliate link feels nice. Once again thank you for your work, and have a nice start and a successful 2017!
+GreenStorm01 awesome, thanks for the support!
Rocket Jump Ninja Will the wireless version perform the exact same way as the wired version when the usb cord is plugged in all the time? I mean latency/accuracy wise, your answer will determine my purchase. :)
GreenStorm01 how do you charge it? Does it charge while the pc is shut down?
would you recommend it for someone with big hands?
You made a mistake buying the wireless one
I highly recommend this mouse. It feels like it is glued in my hand when I play thanks to it's amazing rubber skin. It fits perfectly in my hand. (19.5cm/10cm) Sensor works also great. If you are oldschool gamer like me and miss MX518 I would highly recommend to get G403 prodigy. I had Razer Deathadder Chrome before and it was nothing like this. All clicks are solid. Mouse works perfectly with SS QcK+. 10/10
edefixx You quite literally have the same handsize and mousepad, hahaha definitely getting one of these. is the cable flexible enough?
Haha. :D Cable is quite thick put I think it is flexible enough. Highly recommend :)
edefixx thanks for that, going to pick up this or the g303. Also ss rival 300 is only $28 so ill try that as well
edefixx is the g403 sensor better than the DA???
Yes, only slightly though. G403 Build quality is much better and is slightly smaller than the deathadder. I ended up getting a g403 and its almost perfect, if it was ever so slighty smaller it would be my perfect mouse. Its like a better DA in almost every way
Nice video, thanks! Are you sure, that they use omron switches? Because on IFA guys from Logitech told me that is not Omron, but their own switches.

Great review as always. One thing I'd change though is the hand size guide. I prefer the old style as it was easier to read, this one looks kinda messy. Just my opinion though.
Figured this would be the initial reaction... give it time though, it should make more sense.
Rocket Jump Ninja Yeah, it just seems a bit unnecessary to have all the possible measurements when some of them are out of the suggested range. The suggested grip for the size could be done a bit better graphicaly, maybe somehow implemented in the table itself.
I've had this idea for months... and this was the best I could actually think of doing haha
If you figure something else out, I'm more than happy to take suggestions!
Rocket Jump Ninja No problem. One thing, that I can think of from top of my head right now to try to make it look better, is to make an extra column in between the measurements in inches and cm and put the bars for the grip suggestions there.
That could work... I'll give it a try for the next one, thanks!

Appreciate the kind words, glad I've been able to help!

FunOrange and Zy!!!
Does it have double click problem or something?
Man, you are just the definitive go-to person on this stuff. Really love your content!
Just bought this because of your review. And my God this is easily the best mouse I ever get my hands on! Thanks for convincing us zy :D
Do u have double click problem something like that? Or is there any other problem?
I must say THANK YOU! Just got myself G403 wired to replace Rivel 300 with worn out coating and mouse 3 (wheel in) double-clicking. G403 is sculptured like... i can not explain better that it feels like a custom made for me specially, by order. Light us a feather. Where choosing by you recommendations, my hand is 20cm long and 11 wide. Shape, buttons, sensors, coating - is top notch! Wire is thick, but cable bungee resolves that. Thank you, your content is not only highly entertaining, it is truly useful !!!

I love your mouse reviews! I only go to your channel whenever I wanna check out something new. Keep up the good work!

Your'e the best
Your voice is amazing

diamondKing G403 wins
I am not sure. I bought a g403 for testing (i have the ec2-a) but i didn't like it in my hand. I find it to be a little short and wide for my liking and the slightly elevated edges at the sides (01:55) bothered me because it felt "unatural", like a foreign thing in the mouse that should not be there. The ec2-a feeling in my hand is close to perfection (19x10.5cm), the only things i dont like about it is the scroll wheel and the side buttons, but shape and comfort in my hand is above everything else.
either you aren't used to the g403 or it's not your preference.
should i trade my g403 to ec2-a or buy the g102 prodigy ? any suggestion guys thanks !

And to give Logitech credit where its due, I really like the direction they are going with their gaming mice, the G Pro is by far the BEST Logitech mice I have ever used, its a shame they had to settle for such tiny mouse feet.
cr0wnest you're like me and you probably have small hands.

Mine just died on me after a year or so, decided to see if Logitech support would even do anything. After like two e-mails back and forth, they sent a replacement G703 since the G403 Wireless was discontinued.

But mind you, the mouse dying was more on my end, I lift the mouse A LOT and don't put it down so gently, so after a while, I guess something broke.

It was crazy how easy it was, I was expecting a strenuous process to just maybe get a replacement, but it was basically no questions asked. They gave me a couple troubleshoot ideas, nothing worked, so they asked for my shipping info and what color G703 I wanted.
I am currently a using logitech g303. Do you suggest g403 prodigy for fps and moba? ,if yes il buy it ! (sorry for my bad english XD)
yes
/Subbed

Wireless this or rival 300?
This
+Rocket Jump Ninja I am not sure what the differences are can you elaborate?
That would take too long haha 4 am, so tired, night all!
+Rocket Jump Ninja understandable Ill try to find out myself
This is twice the price of the Rival currently (in the UK). Keep that in mind.
can u comepare this mouse with the rival 300?
Imo get this one
i wanted to ask the same
Rival 300 is a old mouse an Logitech g403 wired is the new mouse, have the best senzor on the market PMW 3366 better then Zowie, DeathAdder, and Rival 300.
This interests me as well. With a 19 cm hand I thought about buying the rival 300 or deathadder chroma. What is your reason for ranking the G403 above them? Thank you for the review.
trust me don't buy Steelseries the build quality is horrible just go for this one or some Zowie mouse and you'll be safe.
"I found there is no such thing as a perfect mice". Yes there is and it is called the mx518, and mine is broken :(.
I think he means some fit others better/have different buttons for different styles of games etc. You wouldn't use a MOBA mouse for FPS for example. I think "there is no such thing as a perfect mouse" still stands.
th3cookie No, mx518 is perfect. Have you used one?
Never heard of it. I'm sure if it was truly "the best ever" surely i would have..
that's a 2005 mouse, it even has the old school red optical laser, you're trolling about this mouse right?
th3cookie No, it is literally the best mouse ever made. Fucking get one and try it before coming here and de-railing my thread without ever even fucking hearing about it.
I bought this mouse based on your review. So far I'm impressed.
Had this mouse for 4 years now, I also move it around A LOT, 0 problems. An amazing product.
(I also have pretty big hands but it isn't necessary for this mouse. It's so good and comfortable)
Corsair Keyboard + Logitech Mouse=Destruction
Thats what im planning lol. I already have the Corsair K55 and its a beast. But I just wanted to know if this mouse is worth it...
I have Corsair k65 rapidfire and Logitech g403 prodigy, I would never change this setup, it's fantastic!
@@Leonardinho097 Im about to buy this mouse but I want to know how the side buttons feel
Do u need to press hard or are they rather mushy?
@@harut4788 The feel with the 2 side buttons is awesome, very responsive. I use them both in every game, u can put your thumb just below the buttons and this is very comfortable, I bought this mouse for 50 bucks and it's worth every penny
@@harut4788 U doesn't need to click hard, it's clicky but very very easy to press
It basically looks like a much better mionix castor
Kreutzwerkz Castor has a bad thumb grip that you can get used to but I wouldn't suggest it, not with this mouse out in the open
Castor has a bad scroll wheel placement too. Felt awkvard to use it and never got completely used to it. I RMA'ed it because of a bad scroll wheel later (noisy). I'm waiting for G403 and G Pro to arrive at my doorstep.
I know your comment is at least a year old by now and I'm probably not going to get a reply, but do you prefer the G403 or the G Pro?
eight years later still my favorite mouse. I bought this mouse after getting pain on my fingers when using my deathadder.
These reviews are so amazing! I am about to buy a mouse and I have seen most of your videos. There hasn't been a single video where you have missed anything and I just might buy this! Thanks a lot man!
The only reviews who answer all of my questions regarding mice.
ive had this mouse since christmas, and its absolutely amazing.
Just bought it! Swithched from 7-8 years old A4Tech x748 mouse. G403 seems to be very similar in shape to it.
Thank you for your videos!
my dad was getting me the g600 becuz it was 25 dollars and i was like no plz i hate MMOs and MOBAs plz get me FPS mouse and then I showed him this mouse and he surprisingly agreed. i have chosen my first gaming mouse thx to u. i love ur mouse reviews dude. its a very competitive world out there with so many to choose from. u helped me in that process. thx
@-blazphix games- the g600 has 15 buttons all on side, is very old, has absolutely no change able dpi. And it is very bulky to hold, which is the exact opposite of a mouse I prefer for shooters.
Yeesh. You weren't wrong about this mouse. Picked it up today over my G502, what a difference!
