- Markiplier is an American RUclipsr.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to uploading videos on his main RUclips channel, he is a co-founder of clothing company Cloak with fellow RUclipsr Jacksepticeye and a co-host of the Distractible podcast alongside LordMinion777 and Muyskerm. He also co-hosted the now defunct Unus Annus channel.

I think there's a couple things you may have overlooked.
1: Mark's done more research than just the game.
2: Mark's "not" a masochist.
3: If Mark streamed from 3008, the internet would have that Ikea located and mapped within hours. Not months. Not weeks. Not even days. Hours. The internet is savage like that. It's like an SCP all of its own.
Considering Mark actually reads the document entries, it's kind of up in the air as to whether or not he's prepared for entities like the heart of darkness.
Little did the SCP foundation know, Mark is an SK class anomaly too powerful to contain or destroy.

Markiplier has one anomalies ability, and that is that he can spin his feet around backwards.

Markiplier is a huge fan of scps. He reads them in his spare time. So I think he deserves a bit more credit on knowing what the scps are 😀
Mark is capable of killing SCP-682 when he finds out it doesn't listen to distractible.
SCP 087 is actually Markiplier’s favorite SCP and makes references to it occasionally whenever he goes down dark stairs in any game
I can imagine all the SCPs hiding while Markiplier stomps the halls demanding to know where the blacksmith is.

Mark has mentioned multiple times in his Containment Breach playthrough that was already a fan of the SCP Foundation, so probably would know a lot of the SCPs not in Containment Breach that were mentioned in this video.

Is practically immortal, as he's survived lasers, sub-zero temperatures, and was put in a room that blasted him with fire, plus he can take extreme physical abuse
He's basically died to everything imaginable but still came back kicking
He's been to jail
Was in a warzone
Oh and finally he went on a date with the internet/us, which honestly out of all the things I just mentioned this one is probably the worst one he's survived, I mean imagine being able to tolerate us, ugh I can't even imagine it, So that also checks off extreme mental fortitude.
So with all that being said, yeah I think he can do it
I mean if not with force all he'd need to do is speak, and I'm pretty sure every anomaly within a 100 meter radius would just fall on their knees by how beautiful it is.

Only issue with this video is that Markiplier has shown himself to be quite a fan of the SCP universe and has quite extensive knowledge of SCPs. Even those that don't appear in videogames.

It’s nice to see Markiplier in a video like this, especially since he helped a lot of people gain exposure to the SCP series through his earlier videos, it comes around full circle. What a wild ride !!
It would be quite a cool concept for Mark to make a video where the scp world and our world collides. Imagine something similar to A Heist With Markiplier where you have multiple choices to follow, but instead of a heist the context would be that Mark has been possessed by the Mask and is trying to convince his subscribers to join his new SCP 035 Cult.
I'm like 90% sure that Mark reads SCP on his off time every once and a while, so I'm sure he'd know far more than they give him credit

here's the thing: we've all seen 096's face through the internet, the wiki, and from the games. Unless the face is completely different compared to how it was predicted in media, will shyguy instantly know if that guy (in this case markiplier who has definitely seen his face multiple times) knows what his face looks like the moment that person is pulled into their reality? If that is the case we would all be screwed the moment we get pulled in.

Very interesting indeed. A huge fan of both communities I wonder how long these episodes take to make. While Markiplier is just human, his knowledge of the scp world would be a lot more than this video would suggest. He's played multiple scp games and has on multiple occasion talked about his love of the SCP universe/wiki going as far as to call out some nonsense happening over in russia a few years back. Okay enough ranting, I only care cuz Markiplier is the reason I ever found out about the SCP Universe.
