SCP Foundation VS Creepypasta

- The SCP Foundation is a fictional secret organization documented by the collaborative writing wiki project of the same name, with the abbreviation standing for "Special Containment Procedures" or "Secure, Contain, Protect". Some of the related characters include SCP 049 The Plague Doctor , SCP 096 The Shy Guy , SCP 999 Tickle Monster , SCP 682 The Hard to Destroy Reptile , SCP 173 The Sculpture , SCP 1470 MalO , SCP 343 God . Within the website's shared universe, the Foundation is responsible for capturing and containing various paranormal, supernatural, and other mysterious phenomena unexplained by mainstream science (known as "anomalies" or "SCPs"), while also keeping their existence hidden from the rest of human society. The real-world website is community-based, originating in 4chan, and includes elements of many genres such as horror, science fiction, and urban fantasy.
Creepypastas are horror-related legends that have been shared around the Internet. Some of the related characters include Herobrine , Slenderman , Jeff the killer and Laughing Jack . Creepypasta has since become a catch-all term for any horror content posted onto the Internet. These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers.

i really wish the cringey old creepypasta fandom would revive sometimes. the one where everyone thought a bunch of random characters all lived together in a house in the woods with slenderman. ppl talk a lot about the super insane kids that would take it too far but most people were genuinely super creative and i kinda miss the community sometimes lol.
Yeah i miss those days.
Me too
I remember that, I wish I could find those fanfic's again
Well, the kids who take it too far are not some hypothetical concept.
It happened.
Look up the case of Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weir. They tried to murder their classmate so they could become Slenderman’s Proxies, and they believed he lived in Nicolet National Forest. They also believed they were going to be able to walk there when the park was a 4-hour drive from where they lived.
Their friend, Peyton, barely survived. The knife stopped *at* the wall of her Aorta.
Creepypasta, as wonderful as it was for adults, needs to stay dead. We have SCP. It’s basically the same thing. The only difference is that SCP is responsible enough to not claim that it’s real. SCP is all fictional, and they make that abundantly clear in each post. The lore of SCP is itself enough to remind everyone that it’s fictional.
If someone is questioning the reality of these things, they can just remind themselves that the anomaly they fear is part of an alternate universe, and is, therefore, harmless to them.
No such luck for Peyton, though, who almost died due to irresponsibly written stories fostering delusions that scared her friends so terribly, that they tried to sacrifice her to the Slender Man.
@@ExhaustedScarf I'm aware, i was the same age as those kids plus in the fandom when it happened. i think strange aeons talked about this in her recent video on slenderman but i know that the reason it happened was because one of those kids (morgan i think? could be wrong) had undiagnosed schizophrenia from a young age and earnestly believed she'd seen slenderman.
obviously all the news coverage of the story focused entirely on slenderman and creepypasta and whether or not children should even be allowed on the internet. a lot of news outlets didn't even focus on the incident that much in favour of prattling on about fictional characters hypnotizing your kids into killing their friends. that kid almost died not due to "irresponsibly written stories" but due to the abysmal healthcare in the US that allowed a schizophrenic child to go undiagnosed and unsupported for years.
again, considering the media coverage of the situation i do see why people would just blame slenderman and be on their way but yk safe to say creepypasta was never "fostering delusions" in children who were already delusional to begin with.
Didn’t think this would ever happen. But here we are. Considering just how broad the anomaly variety in the SCP foundation is. I’m surprised that the SCP foundation didn’t already capture creepypasta instances. Or that the entire idea of the SCP Foundation itself, wasn’t already a creepypasta.
My favorite of all time was “The Strangest Security Tape I’ve Ever Seen.”
Second would be Squidward’s Suicide. Only because that one introduced me to creepypasta. I grew to appreciate it later. After it scared me shitless. 🤣
Honestly, judging by how the Squidward's Suicide tale ends, I’d say the foundation was able to contain it.
Actually SCP IS a creepypasta, it has dark, uncomprehensable horrors.
Dude. The crossover I didn’t know I needed but am glad it’s here.

SCP's ARE Creepypastas tho
@@solihinsolihin4142
Not just the SCP multiverse, but maybe the whole omniverse.
The Russian Sleep experiment would be a viable origin story for SCP-096. By the end of the experiment, all the test subjects could not feel pain, still have consciousness even at times in which it is deemed impossible, one of the screamed continuously until his throat literally ceased to work, and others ate their own flesh to remain alive. Does that not sound like SCP-096???
it certainly does, i was a creepypasta fan before i was a scp fan and the russian sleep experiment and the rake always come back to me when i see 096
Could be, but the foundation has proved that SCP-1529 created SCP-096
As awesome as creepy pasta is and how incredible the monsters are, I think the foundation always will have a leg up. Especially if anomalies like 343 decide to step in, there's really no way they couldn't handle a monster or two.

Some more creepypastas you should do are Sonic.exe, Sally, Happy Appy, Suicide Mouse, Squidward's Suicide, No More Innocence, etc. While you're at it, you could do SCP vs Mandela Catalogue.
2:15 this is absolute *gold*
I love crossovers like this. Although, i'm curious about how the SCP foundation would handle other Slenderverse anomalies
I'd love to see how the foundation could possibly contain "Zalgo" the omnipotent and omnipresent entity made out of pure evil and with the ability to change reality to the point of controling, changing and possesing several fictional and non-fictional beings at the same time.
They couldn't, if I remember correctly there's a quora post (yes take this a grain of salt) conveying that even the likes of SK or Hanged King couldn't defeat him.
The only possible entity that can defeat Zalgo is Melkor but he's from another verse so yeah, Zalgo is OP af.
@@raulgonzalez8564 there are like multiple entities with more power then melkor (who ever that is sorry I don't know) like if 343 is really god then zalgo would just burn in his presence or really being on the same plane of reality as him but ehh what do I know I'm some random schmuck ok the internet

Maybe if they do part 2
I love the way he's doing the translations from one another
They already technically contained Slenderman for SCP 582, A Bundle of Stories
The Rake is basically the same as SCP 096, so they could contain it easily
Candle Cove is very similar to other TV based SCPs like SCP 993, Bobble the Clown
Also, this wasn't even mentioned in the video, but I want to point it out anyways
Zalgo and the Scarlet King are basically the same
Well scp-096 is way different from the rake
Scp 582 is also very different from slender man
Candle cove is memetic in away
The scarlet king and zalgo are different if you read the lore
The rake is definitely less dangerous than 096, its honestly a lot less dangerous than most of the monsters they contain. The only creepypasta characters that would be difficult to contain would be Slenderman due to how powerful he is (though not impossible for the Foundation) and Smile Dog (since it exists on the internet), and Herobrine since he does not have the same weaknesses as the other Minecraft anomaly. The rest of the creepypasta monsters are pretty tame by SCP standards, especially humanoid ones like Jeff and the Jacks

I would love to see the town talked about from "Tales form the gas station" as itself is swarming with anomalous activities from countless different entities and parties, and the side story of "Bedside manor" would be interesting too, if you would like to know some things without spoilers to the story itself, funny bathroom cowboy, medications with extremely realistic hallucinations tied to it.
