Anatolia is the land of so many Holy Fathers of the Church. Saint Nicholas , Saint Basil the Great , Saint John the Chrysostom , Saint George , Saint Gregory of Nyssa , Santa Barbara , Saint Gregory of Nazianzus , Saint Irenaeus of Lyon , and so many more ! One of the most recently canonised saints of the Orthodox Church , Saint Paisios of Mount Athos , was also of Cappadocian descent and born there , being baptised by Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian . Cappadocia was really a land of Saints , the same for whole Anatolia !
I really envy you Mr Morris ! You have chosen the most fascinating vocation in your life . To visit and experience all of these wonderful places throughout the world and make a living out of it , is absolutely incredible . Long may you stay healthy and fit to continue your unrivalled travels . Thanks big man .
So impressed... wow...I am speechless... sooo love it ...saved this and first thing in morning sharing it with family; friends and my church! Thank you so much Gabriel! Can't wait for more!
Imagine if you were an eight year old boy (or girl) and this was your back yard playground. I would be in heaven! Who needs video games when this is your entertainment. Great video Gabriel, I love this part of the world.
Like 227 👍 Greetings from Naples, Florida. We enjoyed this very much. The little shops at 4:57 are so unique. Very nice views in and around the cave. Thank you so much for sharing this part of the world with us. 👍💯
When Greeks forced to leave Kappadokia because of population exchange Turks they was saying... 'We trade gold for silver' Now classic Greek lords houses are converted as hotels and history museums. Those caves was selters and churches for christians during of muslims invasions and looting. You can still find people speaking Greek there either because visited their ancestors land as tourists or because they're living there. If you find anyone speaks Greek you can ask him about the history of this city. This is the land that the Greek 'santa claus' borned. (Saint Basil, protector of the children) Latins Santa Claus (Saint Nicholas) was also Greek Bishop who borned at Byzantine era, today Turkey but for Greeks was and still is protector of the sailors.
Gabe there is a live cam from a hotel in Cappadocia. I've counted over a hundred air balloons in a single morning. Up to 35 people per balloon. Love you and with you every step of the way! Thank you! Keep on trekkin!
Thanks for the information. Searched on net and found the place which looks more or less the same. Amazingly the people are still living in those caves, beautiful ! 👍
Something about these ancient caves bring enormous overwhelming joy to me and seeing those old churches and all the crevice's and paths like a never ending puzzle I love these sort of sites it's so lovely words can't explain the feeling I would have walking these... 🤦♂️@gabriel traveler best travel vlogs I have ever seen I love the way you present these videos it's like no one else that's for sure
I think that the flower petal relates the the Flower of Life that's inscribed in the walls of some Egyptian sites? Nice video, loved the walk thrus of the spaces!
Hi Gabriel, the natural rock formation in the original setting must have been just breathtaking where a group of humans converted into living caves is amazing. Petra is the only location that to me is even more amazing, a carved city out of stone that without modern construction equipment must have taken thousands of years to fully archive. It's a testament to mankind's ingenuity to survive even in a harsh environment. We take for granted what man does today because buildings are built in a couple of years but this kind of construction without modern tools took an incredible amount of very painstaking time.
Wowww whats a incredible city Amazing Caves, a very interesting place thank u so much sir Gabe for your wonderful walk around tour in City of Cappadocia Godbless u from the Philippines 🇵🇭 sir Marvin 🙏♥️🙂🙂🙂👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Looks like plasma event hit this area for sure. Reference Archaix channel for more info. We know very little about the true history of our planet, but Jason (Archaix) has been uncovering much about this topic as he’s a master chronologist. Amazing video brother!
Gabriel, there were iconoclastic periods in the histories of Egyptians, Jews, Christians and Arabs. Iconoclasm did not allow the depiction of the human form on religious monuments. So, those scrapings you see there probably took place at a time after the 6th century during the Byzantine iconoclasm.
cappadocia An ancient province of Asia Minor, now included in Asiatic Turkey. It was conquered by Cyrus the Great of Persia, and was ruled by independent kings after the time of Alexander the Great until 17, when Tiberius reduced it to a Roman province.
@Magnificent Royale IN THE 4 TH CENTURY CRISTIANS WERE GOING THERE TO BE SAFE OF THE ROMANS THAT DIDNOT WANT THE NEW RELIGION . THEY WERE CURVING THESE FORMATIONS TO MAKE CAVES . A BIG LIST OF SAINTS COME FROM THERE . LATER CAPADOCIA BELONGED TO THE BYZANTINE EMPIRE . THATS WHY THERE WERE GREEKS THERE . IN 1924 THERE WAS A POPULATION EXCHANGE .
were those "towers" in love valley carved to look like that or a natural geological formation? like why spend so much time carving giant hardon's in the desert? fertility cult? haha
You can watch Part 1 here: ruclips.net/video/caYi_qYD1GI/видео.html

This place is a perfect set for an eerie supernatural, horror or/and sci-fi Spielberg movie.
Right on cue. Cappadocia is another incredible place. Loving these Vlogs.

I agree, Petra is one of the most incredible places on the planet.
*I had to Google “love valley” now I can’t unsee it*
Love Valley yes, was there last year , very interesting 😊
This place is insane !
Should have popped over when I was in Izmir last year.
Reminds me of the Troglodyte structures in Tunisia. Saw them back in the ‘80’s!
So close at times to the church your looking for 🙈 i swear i could see it in the background at some points.......keep looking gabe 🙏🏻
They did not have air conditioning then and the caves were naturally cool. I would have preferred the caves over a stand alone house then
I was wondering about this.
I may have to retire there.
Gabe you must go to Siwa, Egypt.
I agree, I've wanted to go there for years.
Awesome
Love you the lovely man! it's so incredible and fascinating wow wow wooow!!!! I wish i could do so🥰

How many days do you recommend to visit capadoccia?
the six petal flower, the hexafoil, flower of life, part of metatrons cube, sacred geometry etc
Pretty cool Gabriel 😎🙌❤
Hi Gabriel, new to your channel stunning content i like your stuff
Amazing area! I wonder how people managed to not fall off those cliffs 🙀
That guide doe 🎶
This is one of the towns that could easily have inspired the more recent Tomb Rader games.
Love these videos Gabe. Did the guy walking you around want you to pay him?
I was wondering this too...
He didn't ask for anything, but I gave him 200 lira ($10).
@@GabrielTravelerVideos He offered a lot of knowledge.
Fascinating! Did you end up paying your guide anything?
Yes, I paid him 200 lira, about $10.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos cool. I suppose that sort of thing is an awkward situation sometimes. But he did know his way around.
Marvellous spot, did you had to pay to that guide?
I didn't have to, but I did.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos great, it was better that guide accompanied you to exhibit more information.

Hello gab, im just wondering where is Diana now and how do you meet her?
Was the guide humming? Wasn't sure thought you added it in, haha.
Yeah he was humming or singing.

Looks like that area was large trees or some type of mushrooms that where carved into then became petrified? 🧐🧐🇨🇦👊🏻🕺🏼
cappadocia

Haha, I See I Have Eyes For Love Valley!
Very cool video G. Hey did that guy hit you up for money after his tour??
He didn't ask for anything, but I was happy to pay him for his time anyway and he gratefully accepted.
The man added lots of info, showed G his family homestead. Hardly hitting someone up.
Well done G, I would have paid him too.
I won't say that only Greek orthodox Christians lived there but I'm sure they were orthodox Christians!
Like in Matera, Italy 🇮🇹
👍👍👍
Crazy
It kinda beats Matala..🇬🇷
I know it's none of my business, but I hope you gave that man a nice tip.
Yep.
GREEKS LIVED IN THIS CITY UNTIL 1924 .

Too bad the music is annoying. Would have better to leave it off.
Haha kind of funny, you are searching for this one cave when there are hundreds of caves all around you😂
2nd!

Natural geological formations.

I'm honest and I think is very boring but thank you because you try to show us everwhere 👍
Boring? How about natural beauty, art, enlightment, historical importance? Views alone are spectacular.
👍👍
