Can Advance diploma in bioinformatics after Bsc be a safer option in order to get a decent job in the future? Since diploma takes less time whereas Msc takes 2 years, and I'm not really into doing phd Or pursue my career in teaching line so should I go for ADB instead? Or shouldn't I?
If you are sure that you don't want to go for research and academia, then obviously you can do a PG diploma, gain skills and you can go for a job.

Both have good scope. If you want to choose wet lab go for microbiology . For dry lab bioinformatics is best . But remember if you want a job in bioinformatics background you have to a degree or diploma in bioinformatics. With the knowledge that you will earn duration your MSc microbiology is not enough to get a job in bioinformatics.
