So, all the coding, statistics and machine learning algorethims I will study on my own. This will allow me to work in bioinformatic jobs but it depends where and what is the job. Anyway.. you can say that bioinformatics is the real (and perhaps only) good money in Biology field.
@@codelucky Not really, you have to remember that finding a job isn't really about the degree, it depends on what you know, your skills and your capabilities. Ph.d would be nice, its true.. but it surly isn't the golden path to the industry. Focus on the skills that most companies look for like knowledge in statistics and python/R and become great at it.. then you will be just fine.

Put most of your effort in three things 1. R programming, 2. Python programming 3. Bash. Read papers to decide what you want to do after your Masters.
