Yes... You can opt for MSc after your Medicine background... Many people do MD in pathology and then go for a PhD in this field ... And work in a wet lab position...

Mam I'm in my final year of bsc biotechnology and i have some interest in doing my msc in bioinformatics but I'm unable to understand from where should i do it cause many universities entrance test are on the dates where i have my final exams, and also how and where will i get jobs in bioinformatics field ?.... Hey Abhinav, msc bioinfo is good and you can do it from any college offering the course... later you just have to be alert with the internships and job ... that will help you a lot to gain good experience... so how Alert you're in your degree phase that's very important... all the best

Hey, that's an interesting question... It's totally up to you.. like if your family can sponsor your degree from abroad it's perfect or else you can do your degree from here and then opt for PhD abroad both are good plus I would like to add if you go for your masters out then you have a plus point and would earn much more.

Is mathematics in msc bioinformatics tough? What is it's level..?
Hey, the difficulty is MODERATE... basically, you have to focus on linear algebra which includes MATRICES, DIFFERENTIATION & INTEGRATION is required. Moreover, STATISTICS is a must for results interpretation... Actually, for the machine learning approach in bioinformatics, you should focus more on LINEAR ALGEBRA. hope I was very much clear ... Yes you can do but the subject won't be that familiar you need to study really hard and understand the tech involved in bioinfo

Yes, you're eligible as science is your main subject and no it's not mandatory to know programming language before you enter the course because the course has it all...

I've gone thru some colleges but unfortunately in INDIA, I don't think they take BPT students for MSc bioinformatics... Do TRY... diploma/crash courses available in India plus try Europe for MS in Bioinformatics.. there you have got a high chance in Europe. All the Best

Because after bioinformatics you'll have a Dry Laboratory work job so it totally depends on the person... Ki uska interest kis mein hai ?? But mere hisaab se bioinformatics ko bahut demand hai abhi
