This is scenario #3 in the Galaxy's Most Wanted campaign. After a tough battle infiltrating the Collector’s lair, Magneto decides to rest up a bit in the museum before escaping with the mutants he had freed. Decklist: marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/43978/magneto-was-right-gmw-expert-campaign-1.0
Magnus didn't expect the Collector to be such a vexing foe. Not only had the guileful kleptomaniac managed to seize the X-Shuttle and some of Magnus' mutant allies - they also sealed all the exits from this infernal place. It did not take long for Magnus to free the captured mutants and then become a step closer to securing the future of Krakoa. Thanks to the Collector's Archives he now knew the location of the Power Stone and he knew where he could find this 'Accuser'. Quickly grabbing items to sell for resources (a trifling task with his magnetic powers) he maneuvered to lead his group out of this menagerie of madness. It was steady progress. Extraordinarily helpful was Beak's capabilities at team coordination, Blindfold's visions and Forge's abilities in technology to open all sorts of pathways. The beasts of the collection never showed their faces, so all they had to contend with was the Collector's Powers and his trinkets. All of this would of, perhaps, felled a lesser being but Magneto was no lesser. He was a mutant and one of the greatest mutants alive! All it took was a half-hour to be free of the place and back into the galaxy at large aboard their liberated X-Shuttle. (Magneto did make a quick mental note that the annoying headhunter did not make an appearance. Curious why he was after them. An opportunistic thief aiming to take from Magneto the units he had gathered on this excursion? They were a means to an end.). The next step was to sell the items they managed to pilfer from the collection to gather supplies and give Forge material to enhance the powers of the X-Shuttle. After these purchases they could pursue the Power Stone to lure Ronan out. Who was the Power Stone held by? A woman by the name of 'Nebula'. A cyborg bounty hunter and former minion of the mad titan. A trifling problem that Magneto would easily destroy. They inputted the coordinates and activated the warp drives on an intercept course for Nebula's ship...
Woooo thanks for another thematic story, Ritsy! Love hearing Magneto’s space journey as i play through this campaign. Beak was definitely a big team player this one 😁
Collector 2 is an interesting concept, but it lack punch and teeth. Which is weird because the Villain is all aboutt having "big stats". I think he lacks extra activation with overkill. Anyway, good game. I suggest you have a look at the 5 cost card in the market, one giving tones of tough. And there is a 4 cost upgrade that deal 2 damage everytunrn, and another one that remove threat every turn, like a cheap beat cop. Might be better than thse 7 cost card.
Yea getting overkill would make this scenario entirely different. Thanks for the recs, I’ll check them out. TBH I’m really gung ho on those 7 unit cards but I’ll try to consider all the factors before deciding
@@prufrock1977 We played with those before I think from the "Awesome" fan made campaign. In true solo where the first player is the only player and always control the Milano I can see those upgrades going crazy
This scenario for me is the best in this whole campaign and imo one of the most fun in MC. Really love the theme and that you find the Milano in his collection and escape with it and that his ship is shooting at you every round while you try to escape. Just so good
Absolutely. This was one of my favorites when i first started playing Marvel Champions. I drifted away from it in the past few months but playing it here reminds me why i liked it so much
Yeah it’s funny when you flip his acheme to stage 3. It’s always surprising that you only need to remove 8 threat. And if you have the Milano you can knock out 3 leaving only 5. By the time I get to that point in the game I can usually win right away. In solo at least…
Haha yea. I totally prepped way too much. I should’ve looked ahead to see the main schemes before going right in. I’m definitely prepping hard for Nebula/Ronan, though

love that you're going through the campaigns! Hope you're enjoying them!
It’s been fun so far, by the next 2 might change that haha

I had a lot of fun getting the cards that ping damage and thwart with added value from the Milano. I think they were 5 cost.

Yesss its soo thematic. This was one of the first scenarios my wife enjoyed playing so i totally feel you on that
Dang you crushed that scenario! Great job
Thanks Gnarl! I really went slow and safe with this one 😅
Collector 2 is one of my favorite scenarios. I like how it flips the script on the game where thwarting wins the game instead of fighting.
