- The most important thing about cakes with whipped cream is the consistency of the cream.
This simple three method stabilize whipped cream recipe will make sure your cakes, cupcakes, and desserts look fresh longer.

In these recipes I used my homemade icing sugar • How To Make Perfect Ic...
I just tried your first method, the whip cream to powder, sugar, cornstarch, and a vanilla that is a freaking winner. I have no machine I do everything by hand with a fork that took me less than five minutes that is a winning recipe. Thank you so much.
Light and stable !! I left it out for a bit in the warm temps .. 🎉❤
It’s for a tres leches desert 😒🫶🏽👩🏽🍼🥰😂🙏🏽
Thank you.. glad you liked it. Enjoy baking ❤️
Cornstarch leaves a weird after taste 🫣 if you don't get the temperature right with the gelatin it's over with...🥹 often times bakers use something called instant clear jel...it will stabilize for days!! I recently heard instant jello is a game changer!! Each of its own...Just wanted to share my experience😊 Great video 💞💞
I use instant moose.
Heeeheee🤭😂😊
...it is 'mousse'. So you use the vanilla flavor?
Please tell me more about this clear gel..ive never heard of this and would like to try it on a cake in the summer...where can I find it and what is the brand name etc. Thanks so much love ❤️
@@bam2431 I saw someone mentioned in another video that is is clear piping gel and apparently it is 2 tablespoon per cup of whipping cream and also 2 tablespoon of sugar. I have not try it if you do it let me know if it works
I've been using instant jello pudding mix for a few years now. All brands will work but there's one I like better than all of the others because it's finely milled but you can finely mill the others too. It's just going to take extra time because you'll have to mill it yourself. Out of all three shown only one is really going to make the whipped cream stable enough for high humidity areas and that's the last one. I've used the 2nd one before trying instant jello pudding mix but I wasn't a fan because it didn't keep it that stable and depending on which milk brand you're using you're going to run into the same issue of the product not being finely milled. Agree with your take on the corn starch as well. I've heard of the other method but I haven't tried it because I've had great success with the instant jello pudding mix. Just thought I'd share some of my experiences. I'm in the US. While it's been HOT in my state this yr (where hasn't it been, right? lol) we don't deal with to much humidity. Certainly nothing compared to other countries. The whole point behind making a stable whipped cream is for it to stand up to the heat and humidity so keep that in mind when deciding which one you want to use...
I sometimes add melted chocolate to my creams, milk, dark or white, any as per taste and if I want to color my cream or not. It is great...
Me too, mix melted chocolate in the whipped cream. It works
What do they each taste like? Is the texture of the cream altered? Which one held up it's form the best?
Can you use this recipe in a larger batch to cover an entire cake? Or is it only good for decoration?
You can use this recipe for both

I’ve tried this recipe!!! It’s not for FROSTING ! Won’t came out stable as expected. Better to use buttercream
I love the gelatin method I've used for years
Nice idea thanks ❤
Your recipe is excellent 👌 🎉🎉
I can't imagine 125mls of cream getting you very far.
Nice..Thanks for sharing..
Is it non dairy whipping cream...
Yes
Does it harden up when you freeze it?
I think most people who come here are expecting real cream. I don’t think non-dairy cream needs to be stabilised because it already contains everything required to whip it firmly.
Real cream will not remain stabilized.
@CK8smallville yes agreed
I was expecting only whipped cream
Thank you
Can I avoid icing sugar in the first recipe and still achieve stable whipped cream???
