the 3in1 castle is for me one of the best creator sets ever. If you are into MOCs and dont mind to sort out all pieces before beginning you will get a ton of fun builds. I bought 6 sets over time to build 2 mocs with 3 sets. Awesome

I'm shocked at how many sets just recently came out that are already retiring. I thought I would have at least another year to save up for the Batcave set. Don't see it as one I'll get in time, but hopefully there is an animated series version somewhere down the line, which I would prefer anyways.
I agree that castle 3-in-1 set is fantastic, especially for the price. I collected several of the set over time. I had 3 and then found them on discount, so got a couple more. So I have a total of 5 so I can do some really cool mocs with them.

I really appreciated that it was seemingly aimed a bit more toward collectors as opposed to investors.
Now I just need to find a complete list of retiring sets then sit down and make a plan (hashtag FOMO!)

That creator 3-1 castle is such a solid set. I don’t invest, but that’s one of the few sets where if I saw multiple copies at 40% off, I would gladly pick up three or four of them..

Got mine when it came out. If you can afford it, it’s a GREAT set. The detail and amount of minifigs is incredible.

I cannot sell the sub from the Deep sea explorer.. It's bigger than a bunch of more expensive sets yet I can't sell it for $35usd. I really wanted that shark though.
I really think the shadowbox is way too early to retire only one year for a $400 set. I hope they reconsider that.

Sets only get discounted if they don’t sell. Don’t count on a discount if you want one of these sets.
Even if they do go on sale scalpers will get them before you.
