I was on an ED visa in 2014. The school office administrator accompanied me to a Kasikorn Branch and half an hour later I had an account. Still use it with Wise whenever I travel there. Have the app on the phone + standard web access. It's set to auto-top-up my phone number. Can do cardless withdrawal in the ATMs via the app and scan to pay when out and about. Works great. What I'm saying is, a branch may be more prone to help if a local is accompanying.
This is correct. Actually there is a good chance that the admin has a personal contact at that branch. I’ve had a few accounts opened with different jobs and each employer opens all their accounts at a specific branch where they have a contact. Thanks for the input!
