How do you decide what your setting for shipping? Some of those look like you charge 4.75+ and others are free. I’ve been doing free and factoring a bit of money back in to my list price but seems like people aren’t super concerned about shipping. Meaning people still try to best offer last comp even though the last comp was $5 shipping. Hope that makes sense, would love your input
For myself. Whatever isn’t super thick and I can fit in a 100 pt toploader I will put it in standard envelope. They have to be under three oz and the package has to be .25 inches thick or below. If it’s just a standard card I will often put 1 oz shipping. If you have any more questions let me know.
@@SawyerOwens-fv7bk that’s what I’ve been doing as well. I figured he does too but I was confused seeing his shipping all over the place for cards that would fall into that 1 oz criteria. If you do flat cost for buyer and set it to say $3 but then you use standard envelope at 1 oz. Is that profit to the seller? Or is that even possible? I’m just trying to get an idea of the best technique because it seems like sometimes I’ll list a card for $6 free shipping and people want to offer less whereas based on sold history people were willing to pay $3 plus $5 shipping.
I do free shipping….and charge going rate for card (total $ value shipped). Under $20 I use eBay standard envelope…just a toploader, painters tape and an envelope. Over $20 I use first class and a bubble mailers. I don’t think cardboard is usually necessary
@@americanarbitragecards Got ya. If the seller sets a flat rate for shipping and uses standard envelope does the seller get the profit? Or is that even possible to up charge?
@American Arbitrage Cards I mean you can protect cards in an envelope especially if you know how to ship, unfortunately some people just toss the card in with no protection..I use Hobby Armor great product lite weight cardboard sheets..
With an in depth voiceover you think…or just raw footage? I’m down for whichever, I think a cool membership idea ( wasn’t planning on doing one) but it would be kinda cool
That photo variation Bichette at 12:30 was a great score for a buck!
