@@f5tornadeau just make sure you either have a dedicated RMR cut because it comes with a plate that interfaces with an RMR cut right in the box, or if you’re going with the Glock MOS system that you get a CHPWS MOS to 509T plate. They're trying to sell all the original models because holosun made a change or 2 and are coming with a new version, or so I hear. Adding the third reticle option (circle only) is one of the changes, from the rumors I've heard. Maybe they took Aaron's advise and recessed the back glass a little. Haven't heard that, but it's possible. But for $300 these are incredible. I bought another one a couple weeks ago for $295. Paid $360 for my first one earlier this year. Love them both. Also the fact the rear end of the plates starts bending upwards when finger tightened doesn't instill confidence either. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as I just reapplied the VC3 and tightened everything down but Ill be contacting them if it happens again. Holosuns OEM 509PLT-MOS9MM is thinner, made of harder steel that doesnt bow and bend, allows my 509T to sit even lower, and best of all much cheaper too. i have more holosuns than any other brand for my firearms. excellent optics in my opinion. i do have some of the other big names and the quality is damn near neck and neck. holosun just has a better price point. one aimpoint or eotech OR 3-4 holosun? for my use, the holosun is plenty strong and reliable. if a us company could make an optic at holosuns pricepoint, id definately go that direction but till then or the big names have a fire sale, holosun.....for now. great vid and thank you for the hard(fun) work you put in so we can know what to expect when we go to buy optics or any other 2A products. thank you again and you have my sub.

Saw the front pane of glass fall right out of one of these on a partner’s qual course. Holosun refused to do anything about it to according to him. I should also note the optic was fairly new at the time.

search youtube for "starting strength tendonitis protocol." The only thing that ever fixed my elbow tendonitis wasn't rest, but working the hell out of the muscles near the tendon so that it's forced to have an inflammation response and heal. It sounds crazy, but if you're at your wit's end, give it a shot.

I really want this optic for my M18. I'm a little hung up since I had an unused Holosun 503cu-gr crap out on me with fewer than 60 rounds thru it, on an AR-15 on a simple range day. Obviously everything can fail prematurely, but it dashed my confidence for sure. They did make it right, and the second one has been good so far.
I wish Trijicon would make something comparable to this, but hey, it's their market to lose.
