I had peridontal disease on my 1st molar and serious bone loss (the last stage- type 4 furcation defect). But the alveolar bone has regrown naturally (i.e. furcation defect is nearly gone) without having to undergo bone-grafting flap SURGERY or receiving LASER treatment. How has my tooth bone grown naturally? I was very much surprised by this phenomenon. [All my dentist did was giving me a root canal procedure and have my tooth irrigated all the way inside the tooth with iodide disinfectant solution. That's all he did.]

Amazing 💯 Kudos to the Dr's who are willing to think outside of the box research the latest technologies and offer options to patients who were hopeless. I mean with all the advances in modern technology dentistry seems to be very barbaric in comparison to other medical practices. When ppl break bones do they get amputation or is the bone set and allowed to regenerate and heal 🧐🧐🧐 Be for real. Shouldn't that basic principle be applied to the bone in the jaw 🤔 Most Dr's in general are surgery based. However, the body is an amazing mechanism that is designed to heal itself given the proper tools and environment ❤

Marina Riquelme lol. Same here! I have severe periodontal disease and I didn’t know it, it doesn’t hurt and I am only 31. I don’t want to get the osseosus surgery bc it involved cutting and stuff. So I cannot wait until the covid 19 is over, so I can get them done

Thanks a lot, Tae Kwon. Your videos are very helpful! Be the way, you post the xray before and after treatment -- it may need to improve --- there are two kinds of "before": 1) before any treatment or self treatment, for example, one patient feel pain and visited your clinic, you did a check took a xray; and then you let the patient use "Amoxicillin" and/or "Chlorhexidine Gluconate oral rinse" for two weeks and back the check the tooth; 2) after 1) and before laser treatment: after two weeks the patient is back and you check it again and take xray again and found some improved and the pocket is still there and need the laser treatment and this is the second "before". So, to show the meaningful effectiveness of the laser treatment, it needs at least three Xrays instead of two Xrays to do the comparison. Thanks

Hello Tae Kwon just wondering is there a specific patient criteria for maximal bone/bone regeneration please?

Ugh, I wish you were in FL. I am getting pressure to go the dentures route but I’m looking for other options. A lot of those X-rays look like my teeth. But I have no pain at all.

If I have gaps due to servers gum/bone loss, can the gum grow back along with the bone with laser treatment? Or would I have to get gum graft again following bone growth ?

Why isn’t this more widely available? I just had a root canal and im wondering if I could have avoided that if this treatment was offered the first time I saw a dentist about that tooth.

    • @mysterymaverick1982
      @mysterymaverick1982 Год назад

Most dentists are stuck in the past they are just accustomed to the traditional way. I agree it should be more widely available but it takes a willingness for the dentists to progress and to invest.

Notice how it’s DDS praising LANAP & pinhole treatments. Costs are sky high in USA for ALL dental procedures; these new methods need to be affordable. It’s not like one is getting heart or brain surgery.

I’m not really that concerned about the pain, I mean everything has some degree of pain when it involves surgery but the thing that really concerns me most is the result, so I guess what I’m saying is pain is OK if it’s gotta be but hopefully the result is going to be worth it

I live in Connecticut I can’t seem to find somebody who subscribe to this Lenape laser surgery, I’m very interested in it I have some issues I don’t have any bleeding but I have some issues I had a bridge that’s just falling apart and what I wanna do is replace it with implants but I want to do the loan app in order to increase the bone to support the implants

Hi.i have bone loss and receding gum, will lanap regrow my gum, bone and reduce depth pockets. Thank you.i hope u answer me soon. I live in the USA.

Sen Huynh lanap will not regrow gum . but you can get something called pinhole surgery to fix receding gums . Minimally invasive compared to old methods of fixing receding gums . But Lanap can regrow bone and reduce pockets and improve over all gum health . It’s really beneficial honestly . I’m getting it due to having very slightly loose teeth due to periodontal disease . Ive just gotta schedule it with a periodontist . I’ve got a dentist appointment tomorrow . I hope this comment helped you . Good luck . (:

    • @lucy9500

Sen Huynh Nope ! People who range from ages as early as 20 to 30 years old typically have this disease . So you aren’t the only one .

Lucy I am so stressed I will lose all my teeth. I can’t get them done because they just reopen after the lockdown. Staying at home make crazy enough but on top of that I couldn’t sleep at night worrying about my teeth. My gum detached from my teeth. So y think if I get them done they will reattached ?

Sen Huynh I’m so sorry that’s horrible . :( and yes , I am confident if you get your gums done they will re attach to your teeth . (:

No, this is a surgical procedure and only dentists who have been trained specifically in the protocol and have the PerioLase MVP-7 dental laser can do the LANAP protocol.
