    Had this done to my entire mouth today and was surprised how little pain (if any) there is after the procedure. Honestly the worst part was getting poked around the mouth with the numbing medication, but even that didn't really hurt either.

I also notice teeth #10 actually touched #9 and no longer have gaps in between them. Have you ever seen such case? It looks like it cosmetically improved my smile by a little.

      @@liyagg3457 its been 2 years and I can say my teeth are at a steady state vs before lanap. I did full mouth. With all the numbness, you can barely feel any pain during the procedure. Bones are unusual cases and rare. My periodontist (who also perform LANAP) says bone rarely grows back even after LANAP. So there’s not much hope there for bone regrowth if you need it. LANAP may just stop things from getting worse if you keep up with oral hygiene. And yes it’s very damn expansive and the doctor gets paid weather if it’s successful or not.

    I have a question and want to see who can actually answer instead of me hearing crickets chirping ->Does the LANAP Protocol actually make class 1 or class 2 mobile teeth stronger like what the doctors and patient testimonials are claiming? I know it’s very successful with making the gums healthy again, but what about mobile teeth??

    • @josephrnemeth
      @josephrnemeth  4 года назад +2

      LANAP is fantastic for treating mobile teeth! We actually have a whole video discussing this topic. The teeth become less mobile because the laser actually stimulates bone growth. If the bone grows back the tooth becomes more stable as a result. However, bone growth is not typical in every case and depends on the individual patient. Check out this video for more info on that 👍 ruclips.net/video/xCrvukH92oM/видео.html

The prococol is folliwing firs they use laser on 2700 manometers that remove infected tissue and calculus ( so there no need to use ultrasound after laser on 2700 nm and after they use laser on different mode it is 810 nanometers to help disinfection and healing the tissue and attachment to the teeth. What do you think about that protocol? Is that safe and possible to clean the infected tissue and calculus so that ultrasound is not needed?

    It has been about 3 weeks since I had the LANAP Procedure. So far I notice my gums are very nice and pink. However.....some of My concerns are an increase in tooth mobility on tooth #7, 8,9,10 (top front teeth) after I got the procedure done. During a 2 week follow up appointment My hygienist Okayed me to go back on a regular diet. I bite into a sandwich and noticed my front teeth feels weak and tender like as if it’s going to come out of my gums. So as of now I can’t bite into food with my front teeth. Also I noticed gum recession on a few teeth. Some teeth receded pretty far down to where I can see the tarter on my tooth that the hygienist and periodontist was not able to get to. Now is this common??

      Aurum Productions so far now I can bite into things like burgers, sandwich. It just not the same like it use to be. However my gums are pink and healthy. Oral hygiene has become #1 priority on a daily bases. I floss after every meal or snack. With all these talks about this laser I haven’t given up hope yet. It’s been almost 2 months and is still waiting to see if my teeth will actually stabilize in terms of decrease mobility even though my teeth mobility are at class 1 according to my periodontist.

      Aurum Productions i dont mind letting everyone know about my experience. It is a costly procedure and the doctors get paid regardless if it’s successful or not. So I am here to let everyone know how its coming along for me. Im in California and the procedure cost $6,500 for the whole mouth. My insurance cover $2,400 so I pay $4,100 out of pocket. So far my gums are looking great. Now just waiting if bones will grow back like the company claim. I think bone growth only happens in very rare fortunate cases. The procedure with the laser is painless. The only pain was all the needles with the numbing medication and the pressure from them scrapping the tarter off your teeth during the procedure. The laser literally remove diseased gum tissue and you will smell burning flesh in the process. I did notice a little bit more recession which i was able to notice the old tarter further up teeth which the doctors or hygienist can visibly scrape out during the maintenance stage. Do feel free to ask if you have anymore question. Im more than happy to answer questions from a patient side.

    • @josephrnemeth
      @josephrnemeth  4 года назад +4

      Joex! So sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Thank you so much for sharing your experience on here so that other people can get a good idea of how your LANAP process is going. As far as mobility, we do have some patients who experience mobility up to a few months after LANAP. This typically goes away if the bone and the tissue properly regenerates around the teeth. On the other hand, bone growth is not always predictable, and some patients never experience bone growth due to many different factors.
      Furthermore, I'd like to ask if you experienced the gum recession before LANAP or has it only started since the procedure?
