I’ve yet to see this suppressor in its smallest configuration on something like the S&W shield plus for example. I want to see if compared to the glock 17 with no suppressor. To my research it looks like they’d be comparable in length.
If i recall, for this one there were takes where we specifically shot into the dirt so that the sound from the metal target getting hit didnt affect the audio of the suppressor. But then again, we probably just missed....
What suppressor host is that? Looks like a Sig p365XL but the grip pattern is different - and amazing! Reminds me of the Wilson Combat grip patterns. TIA!
Because it's actually loud as f. Lol. Even Jk lowers db on their videos. Compared to a short configuration normal suppressor this is night and day and if you shoot indoors its almost like using no surpessor lol
I understand this product, but its truly a hard sell to be practical. Its only good when its wet, its only use is in the house? Imagine, carrying this on your pistol, the DA would label you a would be assassin, laying in wait. Most people who have suppressors have PCC's or something already bedside that is ready to go, which can be used all the time, not taking it apart to slatter it in PJ.
good catch, if you're using it for home defense. might as well buy a full size PCC at that point and throw a real can on it. it will be shorter than having to shoot a handgun with a good stance and be more reliable, better muzzle velocity etc. handguns are for EDC more so than home defense imo.
A DA would not label you an assassin and that literally makes no fucking sense. You're paying a $200 tax stamp that the government knows you have paid for, you have fingerprints taken, and it's advertised as one a hearing safe option for a concealed carry scenario.
Any open bottom holster should work. Since my fab is open enough to fit the gun. And the supressor is less wide as the gun. It'll go. You're not going to conceal this comfortably. Open carry would be fine. Or in a bag. I don't understand what makes it less safe...
Niche for what? “Nightstand? In the house, just run a real silencer”. Q erector, Surefire Ryder or Obsidian 9. Why run something that doesn’t “DO” its role? Not a buyer. *not designed to be quietest or durable 😂. (No reason to even buy aluminum when Stainless and Titanium are better; in any silencer caliber). -you had me at FUNNY.
@@joshbrien1318 i bought it anyway. They are correct - without a medium put into the silencer, “it is not quiet on any level”. But I bought it as a sole can for a beretta Bobcat (.32acp); it works well for this purpose. I have had silencer approvals coming back in 3-7 days (sample size of 10) for Individual submittals - so throwing this in the stack was ultimately a no brainer - even though it’s not the best. .32acp is subsonic (in the 960 velocity area) so out of this can it meets a NICHE 🤪 for me.
Stop using words like "neesh" it is called a "nitch." This is the same thing as calling a place "shuttered" during COVID. It wasnt "shuttered" it was "shut down." They came up with those words to sound smart and sophisticated so stupid people would think it was closed for an actual reason.
I love niche cans. JK Armament hit it out of the park with this one!
Plus you don’t need suppressor height sights to see over this little can. I’m getting one for my EDCs - S&W Shield Plus and G19
Great review, that would go excellent with QVO Tactical’s Suppressor Compatible Holster.
Love QVO gear
Reminds me of the Odessa 9, but less that half the price, if all you want is the small concealed option
I have two SilencerCo suppressors. The 22Sparrow and the Octane45. I think I will add one of these to my collection!!

The glock 17 will be a couple inches shorter but in terms of weight and firing they will both be great
Good review but did you guys hit a target? 6:25 you’re 3’ under from only a few yards away.
If i recall, for this one there were takes where we specifically shot into the dirt so that the sound from the metal target getting hit didnt affect the audio of the suppressor. But then again, we probably just missed....
Best review! Thanks guys. Time to pay a $200 fine for not wanting myself or those potentially around me to be deaf if I ever have to defend myself🤙
That previous reply is not from an official Modern Warriors account. Please do not text them, we will never text anyone.
Good point.

thats exactly what it is, its a sig 365 xl with the wilson combat grip module
Can you really shoot hollow point from a wet suppressor? 7:37
We did haha
I reached out to JK, they confirmed you can. I had the same concern 😂
Why would that be a problem? Come on man. Use common sense.
@@printingwithpeek4897 Cause hollow points expand if you shoot them from wet suppressor right?
@mccoymaverick1658 No they absolutely don't and you don't understand how a hydraulic action works.
What is the barrel? Just got this can and want a good threaded barrel for my 365xl
Inquiring minds would like an answer to your question
Let’s see some more cans how about the Mojave 9
My biggest struggle now is finding a holster that fits a can and red dot for my PPQ
Our boys over at Odin Holsters may be able to help you with that!
G43x in shoulder rig? 😁😅
That would go so HARD!
This thing doubles as a smoke grenade indoors after a couple rounds. Sheesh that thing is gassey!
haha it looks like snoop dog was in the area after shooting it.
You can see your laser light show better
So how much louder was it dry? I didn't see (or hear) this anywhere in the video.
There was a pretty significant increase in noise when run dry in the short configuration. In the long it wasnt as noticeable
Carrying a short suppressor in place of a spare magazine is odd advice 🤔
I want one for my little .380 😁
That would be a rad combination
I notice you always were speaking while the b-roll was in the background, so we never get to hear how loud it actually is..
That is a valid and appreciated criticism, ill keep that in mind as im editing future suppressor videos.
Because it's actually loud as f. Lol. Even Jk lowers db on their videos. Compared to a short configuration normal suppressor this is night and day and if you shoot indoors its almost like using no surpessor lol
Bs that you have to use a ffl or anything to get those .
Agreed, the NFA blows
@@modernwarriorsut hopefully one day atf nfa and gun free zones go away .

Until someone makes a holster for any gun with this suppressor then there's no *safe* way to carry this, open or concealed.
If im not mistaken QVO makes one that would work

You're not going to conceal this comfortably. Open carry would be fine. Or in a bag.
I don't understand what makes it less safe...
You can always holster in the front and let it hang out your zipper.
Don't reholster right after shooting
Or you're an assassin and only need to take out a few people in the night
OH SO NICHE. Its niche really, niche it is.

it's boosterless though. none of your other cans can run without boosters on most hosts.

it's Niche and it's an actual term, but nice try genius. maybe next time.
