I’ve been to all the coastal areas in Thailand . Now I am just revisiting all the spots and checking them out for retirement option. I’m scheduled to go to Rayong, Pattaya and San Suk before leaving. Trying to see where is best in terms of value for money in quality of life.
I don’t think Bangkok is a good area for retirement because it is overcrowded and very polluted, but my mindset is to buy the condo and rent it to get an income to live somewhere else

My main concern is air quality. Living in New York City the pollution was always a problem. Have you ever been to the area Pattaya near the ocean?

But the entry price point that I’m seeing the numbers are not adding up so I’m going to be checking out real estate in the other areas of Thailand
