I'm gonna be honest, this has always been my favorite Galvatron design. It's just a recolor of this take on Megs but my goodness does this design rock these colors.
Regarding the head light-up feature, at 16:30 the screws are under the screw caps. Those two pink cylinders with the tiny hole in the middle, those are screw caps, same situation as the tank barrel cannon, just way smaller and recessed. You need a toothpick or some kinda narrow object to fineggle the caps out. It was a real pain, but once you get rid of the caps, you can get at the screws which will let you take his head apart. Honestly wish they'd skipped the caps or left them seperate, because they are just a pointless obstacle, but yeah, that's how it is. ALSO- be careful when removing the head halves, because the 'on/off' button for the light sits loose, and it's a very small piece. If you're not careful you will lose it. Without the button you'll need a small narrow poker to switch the lights on and off, (toothpick to the rescue again) but yeah, just something to be aware of.
Hey EmGo got a hold of FansHobby about the head. I had the same problem. You have to use a paper clip or tweezers and push in the screw holes and out. There actually covers for the screws on the head. After you get the covers off the screws are right there and you can add the batteries and change the eye piece. I would never know till FansHobby got back to me. The instructions don't say or show that anywhere. Hope that helps
For some reason, step one of transforming this from tank to robot made me think of the tank from the episode "Double O Dale" from Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers.
I love what Fans Hobby has done with these. I hope eventually I can get me Naval Commander, Mego, and this one. I have Overload preordered and hoping it stays that way. I always liked the Armada line. To me, it was what headmasters and targetmasters couldn't achieve. Can his big canon bloosh? LOL
I've had my naval commander in box for like 2 years and now I'm too afraid to open it because if all of the cracking issues it has. Really like the way this guy looks but will probably just wait for the legacy recolor at this point.
Should’ve opened it sooner than later. Fans Hobby’s was giving replacement parts for Naval. Nowadays may be too late. Maybe you got one of the ones with fixed plastic.
Optimus Prime: So you think a change in color palette and a name change will keep me from kicking your butt? Galvatron: It worked for you Orion Pax. Optimus Prime: Touche.
He has a few quality issues. I have the same model and the legs on the base mode/arms on the combined mode aren't the most securely attached things. Literally all that weight is on a half circle of plastic that doubles as the waist rotation on the base mode. Mine was too tightly connected that that piece snapped and I had to get a replacement.
Hey emgo in the future reviews for transformers toys 3rd party transformers toys have the figure in alt mode at the start of the reviews than transform it into it robot mode and just transform it start in robot mode than transform it into it alt mode.
He usually just does it starting with the mode they come packaged in. Aside from a few special occasions, this is the way he prefers to do it even though I does like it more when they come packaged in their alt modes.
I'm gonna be honest, this has always been my favorite Galvatron design. It's just a recolor of this take on Megs but my goodness does this design rock these colors.
You'd swear they designed these with the "Upgrade" colors in mind so you'd want two once you see this and Power Commander

They need to make a fanstoys tidal wave for galvatron to combine with
They are
I believe you meant "Fans Hobby"
Your wish is coming true
Galva-Tyrano does not have a screw lose in his head, He doesn't even have screws in his head... Lol.

The Times when Galvatron has a bunch of white colored versions
Wish we have more White Colored Galvatrons here
I Love this Galvatron, My fav Is This and the Armada Galvatton ❤❤❤❤❤❤and his robot and Vehicle mode
As Galvatron, I have even more power.
Just a little note: Armada Galvatron's minicon is named Clench (whose apparently a separate character from Leader-1 and is a super mini-con)
"I AM DRUNK ON UNLIMITED POWER!"
My new favorite sentence.
God damn that paint is immaculate! Such a great figure and review!
I really like how Galvatron has his Minicon with him.
I hope Fans Hobby makes a starscream (starscream is my favorite Armada character)

I remember watching this when I was younger.
I love this Armada Galvatron!!!😊❤
Expecting a selects repaint of this in legacy:Evolution
11:23 Does anyone else thing that smiling Galvy looks a lot like Freeza from DBZ?
I just find his giant pink cannon really disturbing. I think it's the way he holds it under-arm.
Hey Emgo there àrea two screw covers over the acrews of the head, I had the same problem as you
Ironic I was just watching Armada videos before I went to bed
Turret belly is called Full Blast Mode
I like turret belly 😁
Something about those colors makes me think that if Barbie and Ken had a tank...This would be it.
Still wish the turret was on a ratchet to keep thd cannon parallel to the ground.
Hope Fanshobby make a black repaint for their Armada Prime to go along with this Galvatron.
You gonna get the Powerlinx colored Naval Commander with the QC improvements and fixes?
Galvatron looks good he needs to be the Rise of Unicron Movie.
Huh
"GALVATRON TO YOU!"
Legacy Amanda Galvatron? ❤😮
Yo you getting power commander now then emgo? Need his nemesis lol, recreate the final episode shot
"ALL HAIL GALVATRON!!!"
I love the colors on that tank mode!
Hopefully they'll redo the Legacy Armada Megatron into Galvatron.
It’s a guarantee. Simple recolor, never leave money on the table
LOL I thought Hasbro retool Legacy Armada Megatron 🤣🤣
I've had my naval commander in box for like 2 years and now I'm too afraid to open it because if all of the cracking issues it has. Really like the way this guy looks but will probably just wait for the legacy recolor at this point.

Working treads?! In this economy??
The Naval Commander Armada Prime also had working treads in the trailer. They're doing great work at Fanshobby.
Optimus Prime: So you think a change in color palette and a name change will keep me from kicking your butt?
Galvatron: It worked for you Orion Pax.
Optimus Prime: Touche.
For curiosity, in Micron Legend, Megatron with this color scheme was just called as "Megatron Super Mode"
What exactly was falling apart on your prime

The turret belly doesn't quite look so good with how different the guns are from the original
