The Nokton lenses are amazing! Sharpness should not be a concern with the Nokton! Those who buy those lenses are looking for the unique character those lenses are capable to produce. Each unit is different giving the photographers and videographers a signature. This is my opinion.
I bought gh2 just becouse of nocton 25mm. They're great and also a must for m43 cameras Imo. Now I have a gh6 and a set of noctons. I'm still in love with noctons.
Remember when the GH2 and Noktons was the go-to package for indie filmmakers? Industry pros made travel reels with the GH2 and 25mm long before the "cinematic vlog" crowd.
Got the wideangle one along with a GH4 for a steal (the camera with V-log mode, a cage for the housing AND the 10.5 for under 1k USD) a few years back. Still haven't gotten any use of it (!) despite it being my first system camera. Need to get on that; nice to see the lense is good.
De-clicked aperture ring was introduced in a second version of these lenses.. I know bc I bought a 24.5mm which does not have the option to change from clicked to de-clicked.. that happened 2 months or so before they released version 2... :( Nice video though! 😎👍
Got the 17.5mm with the GH3 in japan few years ago. Definitively my best lens for m43 cameras

Me too!
Glad to see some one else finally covering the 60mm lens!
New masterpiece when?
I've been looking at buying one myself.
I probably watched your review of the 60mm lens three times before buying the it! 😀
Have gh6 with 60mm and 17.5. Amazing !

Very curious about that 60 -- thanks for delving into that 🥂

in between are the 17.5mm, 25mm (version 1 & 2) and 42.5mm all at f/0.95, with the 29mm at f/0.8.
is this auto focus lens ? or?
Voigtlander 29mm f0.8 Super Nokton Lens for Micro Four Thirds
It's like a lumix but in lens form because it can't autofocus

Only 25 mm lens has a first version. All other (17.5, 42.5, 10.5, 60 mm) were introduced with declicked aperture option already.
nice!
the mitakon 17mm is another amazing option for a fraction of the price.
That's what I got from Adorama too
A screw came loose. Still have to get it repaired but it's amazing nonetheless
@@psysword ya love the mitakons
