- Il Divo singer Carlos Marín has died following a hospitalization, according to the remaining members of the vocal group. He was 53.
David Miller, Sébastien Izambard, and Urs Bühler announced the news of their friend's death on their website on Sunday.
"It is with heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our friend and partner, Carlos Marin, has passed away. He will be missed by his friends, family and fans. There wiIl never be another voice or spirit like Carlos," Il Divo shared.

I am so sad at the world's loss but I'm so thankful for your gift of songs. Thanks for the memories! I know you will be singing with the Angels and serenading my husband Bill who died Dec.2015.The world Loves YOU Carlos! Love and prayers to Carlos' family and his brothers il Divo ! Such poetry when they all sung together, but alone, his voice was a true work of art.
This still does not seem real. My heart breaks for his family, friends, fans and for him. He was taken way to soon. RIP Carlos Marin, you will be forever missed.

Carlos will be missed. All of Il Divo came together to make 1 angelic song after song. I pray for Carlos and the rest of Il Divo may Carlos rest in peace. He may just have been 53 yr old but he lived life to the fullest and the four men came together to give the world something to always remember.
I just can’t believe that I will never hear him perform live again. I can’t believe it’s real. I am heartbroken 💔 and I send my condolences to his family and friends. I really feel for Urs, Seb and David they have lost a colleague, friend, „family member“ as well as having their working lives thrown into turmoil. RIP Carlos I will miss the thrill of your voice when your chest expanded and your amazing sound flowed out. I will miss your cheeky smile and your innuendos. @@neilperrin1871 well we know he had been vaccinated, and caught the virus, and that he died WITH covid, we will have to wait and see if it was a blood clot or heart failure, its almost statistically impossible to die from just covid, almost, I believe the figure for uk is 47 to die from just covid with no known underlying health conditions, although that figure is from August so it could be 48 by now

Tuvo covid finales del 2019, cuando todavía no se sabía q era, tuvo una neumonia muy fuerte, más de 40° de fiebre, le pusieron unos tratamientos muy fuertes y se le rompió el talón de Aquiles y le paralizó una lado de la cara, tuvieron q operarle del talón y estuvo cojo. Le quedaron muchos dolores de huesos, cuando fueron a U.K. volvió a coger el covid( estaba vacunado con la q era una sola dosis) volvía a dolerme mucho la espalda y en BATH consulto con médico, estaba con corticoides para el dolor, por eso te ia la cara inflamada, pero siguió cantando ( el espectáculo debe continuar) nunca a debió sacrificarse para no perder los compromisos...con lo mal q se lo han agradecido " sus hermanos"😢
