I loved Carlos but I am so happy that you keep on singing with a new Baryton. It's hard to read that some people write that it will never be the same. Of course it will never be the same. It will be something else. I'am sure that we will have wonderful emotions. We will cry too when we see them on the stage without Carlos but please let's get a chance that it will be marvelous too to hear these 4 guys singing on the stage. Watching this video I - once again - cried my heart out over the loss of Carlos. It is still incomprehensible that someone, who - before the start of the UK Christmas Tour - looked so healthy, full of life and eager to start this new tour, became so sick and died in just a few weeks. To me, Carlos was the “ultimate Diva” for his humour, charm and great personality, but above all for his exceptional, powerful voice. He leaves a void that never can be filled.

Same here, Carlos was my idol and absolute favourite singer of all time. I'm an aspiring classical singer myself thanks to him, and it breaks my heart that I'll never get to thank him for it :( It too him passing away to get me off my ass and start training, I regret that really badly. Just 7 days after Carlos passed, I lost my mum to vascular dementia. (She died in my arms at 11:15pm on December 26th 2021.) Then, as if that wasn't bad enough.... Mum's older brother also passed on January 15th 2022, from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. That's 3 loved ones I lost within 1 month. To Urs, David and Sebastien I say this: You are all in my prayers. Thank you for including and acknowledging all of us at this devastating time. I pray that the music may become your healing medicine. Big hugs to you all!

I have just found this on You tube & remember so well that wonderful concert that was in Barcelona that I attended 20 years ago I was coming from Scotland & my dream was to see them live, especially the magical baritone voice of Carlos. David no sé si leerás esto pero gracias por el vídeo y por tanta música.Yo los sigo desde el 2004, tenía 15 años y aunque no me gustaba ese tipo de música quede impactado por la voz de los 4, especialmente la de Carlos, tanto que compre su disco y empecé a seguirlos. Fui al concierto de Bogotá esta año y debo decir que en este momento tengo una sensación extraña, me alegra que puedan seguir como grupo pero por mi parte creo que llegue hasta aquí (por lo menos de momento). Es díficil no ver a Carlos en el escenario cantando y reír con sus ocurrencias, saber que nunca volveremos a oír su voz en la nueva música que saquen... Ahora también es díficil ver como las canciones que siempre me gustaron suenan diferente en el concierto y sin esa magia que tenían antes cuando ustedes cantaban con Carlos. Steven podrá ser un cantante muy talentoso, profesional, con buena actitud hacia el público y todo lo que quieran, pero su voz es MUY diferente a la de Carlos, no tiene la misma "suavidad" necesaria para algunas canciones, sin embargo, le agradezco su compromiso y profesionalidad, no todos los días se pueden escuchar voces así. Seguiré escuchando sus antiguas canciones por las plataformas y en mis discos...de pronto en un futuro, cuando mi familia y yo podamos superar este duelo por Carlos, podremos volver a oír sus nuevos trabajos. Escribo esto para agradecerles por tanta música, tantos momentos en los que sus canciones me acompañaron en momentos difíciles y por los momentos de alegría también... No lo entendí nunca.😢 el desapego después de 17 años juntos.
@@maribelfernandez7139 you are so wrong. Here in England no one could be with any one at the hospital I know from personal experience that’s true. They couldn’t go to the funeral because of Covid restrictions regarding flying at the time and two of them were sick. Urs was honest Carlos could be difficult at times but that didn’t mean he disrespected him. They sent their condolences to the mother by video and funeral flowers were sent confirmed by the people at the place the funeral took place. In Madrid they visited the grave privately and a photo was put on Facebook but was taken down after a short time. Unfortunately a lot of lies have been spoken about Sebastien David and Urs and some just don’t want to know the truth. In time the truth will be out there and all those who believed the lies will realise the mistake they made in believing them.

My gosh…what a horrible thing to say…all the members have amazing voices…Carlos was an important part of ll Divo but he wasn’t the group…he was one voice of this amazing group. Each are so special. Carlos loved Urs, David and Sebs…he never would want them to stop singing…they were brothers, family!! It’s so apparent how hard this is for them and how much they are grieving. I will always love and miss Carlos but I love Urs, David and Sebs the same and will never turn my back on these amazing men and group.
It was such a shock as a fan, I can’t imagine how you all managed. I guess you all came together to help each other heal. I still watch videos and can’t believe he’s gone. Stephen has stepped in to the baritone role as if he was born to be able to fit in. Although his voice is quite different from Carlos’ his style works.
Carlos was a one off with the most beautiful voice and soul. Nobody will ever replace Carlos, but the strength you three have showed since you started the shows is incredible, it’s was v upsetting to see you all so emotional, it must of been so incredibly hard to get back on that stage. I admire you three even more now, and absolutely love picking up the bits of the concerts on you tube, Steven has a wonderful voice and is fitting in well. 2006 was the first time I ever heard of il divo Saw you on Larry King live performing "without you" from the siempre album. I was fascinated by your arrangements, harmonies. Just everything really. Then funny enough. A few months later I stumbled upon live at the Greek DVD and instantly bought it. I rewatched that concert so many times. It was my escape. Carlos sudden passing was a complete shock and gut punch. It just doesn't feel real and I mourned quite a bit. I get choked up singing along with il divo And watching past performances. But anyway.. I just want to say thank you because of you, seb and urs.. Because of il divo I discovered a passion for singing and music I didn't know I had. #carlosmarinforever #ildivoforever

I agree I remember reading Carlos is in an induced coma and I was thinking that OK, it will help his body cope better and get back to doing what he did. At no point did I consider he might not make it, even now Im wondering how the outcome was so bad. Its very sad.

I was shocked when I heard Carlos passed. He was a beauitful man and a great singer, loved his voice, so very much. He is missed. praying for ill divo and their families, this is a very difficult time. Carlos always looked so happy, he was a legend.

I loved Carlos but I am so happy that you keep on singing with a new Baryton. It's hard to read that some people write that it will never be the same. Of course it will never be the same. It will be something else. I'am sure that we will have wonderful emotions. Watching this video I - once again - cried my heart out over the loss of Carlos. It is still incomprehensible that someone, who - before the start of the UK Christmas Tour - looked so healthy, full of life and eager to start this new tour, became so sick and died in just a few weeks. To me, Carlos was the “ultimate Diva” for his humour, charm and great personality, but above all for his exceptional, powerful voice. He leaves a void that never can be filled.

Just 7 days after Carlos passed, I lost my mum to vascular dementia. (She died in my arms at 11:15pm on December 26th 2021.) Then, as if that wasn't bad enough.... Mum's older brother also passed on January 15th 2022, from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. That's 3 loved ones I lost within 1 month. To Urs, David and Sebastien I say this: You are all in my prayers. Thank you for including and acknowledging all of us at this devastating time. I pray that the music may become your healing medicine. Big hugs to you all!

David no sé si leerás esto pero gracias por el vídeo y por tanta música.Yo los sigo desde el 2004, tenía 15 años y aunque no me gustaba ese tipo de música quede impactado por la voz de los 4, especialmente la de Carlos, tanto que compre su disco y empecé a seguirlos. Fui al concierto de Bogotá esta año y debo decir que en este momento tengo una sensación extraña, me alegra que puedan seguir como grupo pero por mi parte creo que llegue hasta aquí (por lo menos de momento). Es díficil no ver a Carlos en el escenario cantando y reír con sus ocurrencias, saber que nunca volveremos a oír su voz en la nueva música que saquen... Ahora también es díficil ver como las canciones que siempre me gustaron suenan diferente en el concierto y sin esa magia que tenían antes cuando ustedes cantaban con Carlos. Steven podrá ser un cantante muy talentoso, profesional, con buena actitud hacia el público y todo lo que quieran, pero su voz es MUY diferente a la de Carlos, no tiene la misma "suavidad" necesaria para algunas canciones, sin embargo, le agradezco su compromiso y profesionalidad, no todos los días se pueden escuchar voces así. Seguiré escuchando sus antiguas canciones por las plataformas y en mis discos...de pronto en un futuro, cuando mi familia y yo podamos superar este duelo por Carlos, podremos volver a oír sus nuevos trabajos. Escribo esto para agradecerles por tanta música, tantos momentos en los que sus canciones me acompañaron en momentos difíciles y por los momentos de alegría también... Fui al concierto por el homenaje a Carlos y para despedirme de ustedes. Les deseo mucho éxito y espero que Il Divo siga cantando por muchísimos años más. No dudo q Sebastien y David estuvieran triste ,de Urs no opino lo mismo, pero sigo opinando q sus hechos no concuerdan con el dolor q se supone tenían., intentas en algún momento estar a lado de tu amigo , desaparecieron de escena nada más enfermar, y no volvieron a aparecer, en 6 meses, hasta el concierto en Madrid y ni se acercaron al cementerio para llevar unas flores. No lo entendí nunca.😢 el desapego después de 17 años juntos.
@@maribelfernandez7139 you are so wrong. Here in England no one could be with any one at the hospital I know from personal experience that’s true. They couldn’t go to the funeral because of Covid restrictions regarding flying at the time and two of them were sick. Urs was honest Carlos could be difficult at times but that didn’t mean he disrespected him. They sent their condolences to the mother by video and funeral flowers were sent confirmed by the people at the place the funeral took place.
In Madrid they visited the grave privately and a photo was put on Facebook but was taken down after a short time.
Unfortunately a lot of lies have been spoken about Sebastien David and Urs and some just don’t want to know the truth.
In time the truth will be out there and all those who believed the lies will realise the mistake they made in believing them.

Así es Ann. Il divo era Carlos. El grupo murió con él. Además te has dado cuenta qe ahora cantan muy mal? Carlos hacia qe todas las voces sonaran bien,metía su voz y ya no se notaba qe desafinaban. Y por supuesto ese carisma,como dices esa alegría. Y estos tres no tienen ni gracia,no saben tratar al.publico . Y eso es muy importante también en un artista,y Carlos lo era todo. My gosh…what a horrible thing to say…all the members have amazing voices…Carlos was an important part of ll Divo but he wasn’t the group…he was one voice of this amazing group. Each are so special. Carlos loved Urs, David and Sebs…he never would want them to stop singing…they were brothers, family!! It’s so apparent how hard this is for them and how much they are grieving. I will always love and miss Carlos but I love Urs, David and Sebs the same and will never turn my back on these amazing men and group.
It was such a shock as a fan, I can’t imagine how you all managed. I guess you all came together to help each other heal. I still watch videos and can’t believe he’s gone. Stephen has stepped in to the baritone role as if he was born to be able to fit in. Although his voice is quite different from Carlos’ his style works.

Carlos was a one off with the most beautiful voice and soul. Nobody will ever replace Carlos, but the strength you three have showed since you started the shows is incredible, it’s was v upsetting to see you all so emotional, it must of been so incredibly hard to get back on that stage. I admire you three even more now, and absolutely love picking up the bits of the concerts on you tube, Steven has a wonderful voice and is fitting in well. There will never be another Carlos,but we still have you three. Carlos is smiling down on you. ❤️

Carlos' death was a shock for everyone. Watching that brilliant samurai, I am remembering that thunderstorm that hit my head while learning it.
Thank you, thank you for this. Missing Carlos so very much. Have been with you since the very beginning. His voice & persona will never be replaced, but we who love you want you to continue. Carlos would want the same. He was the heart of Il Divo. His magnificent voice forever with us-we have been blessed. 🙏💔

2006 was the first time I ever heard of il divo
Saw you on Larry King live performing "without you" from the siempre album. I was fascinated by your arrangements, harmonies. Just everything really. Then funny enough. A few months later I stumbled upon live at the Greek DVD and instantly bought it. I rewatched that concert so many times. It was my escape.
Carlos sudden passing was a complete shock and gut punch. It just doesn't feel real and I mourned quite a bit. I get choked up singing along with il divo And watching past performances.
But anyway.. I just want to say thank you because of you, seb and urs.. Because of il divo I discovered a passion for singing and music I didn't know I had.

I agree I remember reading Carlos is in an induced coma and I was thinking that OK, it will help his body cope better and get back to doing what he did. At no point did I consider he might not make it, even now Im wondering how the outcome was so bad. Its very sad.

This had me in tears, you guys are incredible and Carlos was one of the 4 pillars of the group. His voice is irreplaceable and he will never ever be forgotten but now you have another wonderful voice to , not replace Carlos- he's irreplaceable, but another voice to add to the unique and beautiful tones of IL Divo.
