Hi mr inn nicely worked, but it looks like the green yarn is spun the other way towards the red, so the red one gets more twisted and the green looser in the process. And if you look in slow mo, the green is a little looser at the needles So try with two reds and see what happens.
You need to run the yarn through a resistance pad to add tension while knitting ( on the Feed side) and add a coiler drum underneath so that will add tension on the outgoing and to the needles whilst knitting, Just study how a hand knitting machine works and you will see how tension is achieved, if you saw one of the little hand crank machine used to produce this item you will see they add a weight to the outgoing, Hope this helps
When I was about five I got an Erector Set similar to able to build many projects not quite as complicated as that. Absolutely my favorite toy if I may use that word. If I would have had a 3D printer 60 years ago oh my god look out world. I am so glad to see youth (under 65) using all the creative freedom they have now. Figure out a sales angle and make $1000000 selling friendship bracelets custom-made with the other person's hair in the center or something like that?
That is a cool design. Suggestion: Whenever the yarn gets too loose, too tight, or when one strand is significantly looser than the other, the yarn will get tangled. Add adjustable mechanisms to individually control the tension of each strand of yarn. The coil springs that guide the yarn into the needles probably influence the tension, but they don't appear to be easily adjustable. Note that I have no experience with yarn or string tension. My only experience is with a DIY mechanism that controls the tension of 8mm rope using a 5kg counterweight. That took many tries to get working consistently.
This is really cool. It looks like there's a problem with the yarn slacking up as it comes off the cone spools. The yarn that is currently on top going across the top of the machine will temporarily be pulled tighter and the one across the bottom temporarily looser. The simplest thing to try would be to cross them in the middle so the one on top at the spool end is on the bottom at the knitting end. I don't know if that will be enough, but it is easy to try. Does the distance that the needles move match the distance between the two feed holes in the wheel above the needles. That could affect tension. Sewing machines are pretty clever about making sure that the path of the thread stats about the same length as the needle moves up and down. There are some pretty good videos about how a sewing machine works. I'd expect knitted cird to be much more stretchy than woven or braided cord. There's a Japanese braided form called kumihimo. There's a lot of good instruction about how that's done.
Could be simplified. Remove top axle, and thread holder. Top ring (above needles) - add plate with two holes and two pins on top(for bobbins) rotate this entire plate. So it goes bobbin to hole straight down to needle area. Vastly simplfies treading too.
What types of things can be created with the knit after it is done being created? I've never seen one of these before, so I am curious as to what can be done. Maybe hoodie strings or an accent to an outfit?

This is most ingenious, similar to the ones that are made from Meccano, but I don't see why you need all that electronics just for a variable speed motor?
Thank you for some interesting solutions. But, if I understand right, yoiu use at the moment only the half of your electronics. Why is the purpose of the rest of?
It is a simple DC motor speed control for up to two motors. Since this device only uses one motor, the other half isn't needed. Any speed controller that can handle the motor would work.
From winding Wires to winding yarns..... LMAO I wonder if you can also build a swing maching which are fully electrically/Compuuter controlled? Keep up the good work

This is really wonderful!! What a great school project too! Maybe you could do a braiding machine next, with more spindles?
*_Better and much more beautiful than new!! Good job_*
Your inventions are incredible! Respect! 👍👍👍
This is really cool.

Oops.treading should threading.
@@Wyld1one you can edit comments by pressing the three dots button
Also this is a really smart idea but i think that is maybe for slack or tension.
OoOOoOOoooo it makes a string! How wonderous!
This is just unbelievable😍 😱...... Great job!!!!!!
Beautiful little knitting machine. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎

Maybe hoodie strings or an accent to an outfit?
cool, try making fly wheel to help reel the knitting cord onto the driveshaft?
You are different. Great work.
can you modify the machine to insulate cables from heat like in irons?
Congratulations! Great work!
Excellent DYI video!!! Do you think you can do a circular knitting machine? Or a small flat panel machine!!!! That would be AWESOME!!!!!
Love what it does .. but .. what you you do with the 'turd' that comes out? A long piece of intertwined yarn .. but what is the use? Rope?
That is amazing!
square shafts is genious. I'm using round stock like an idiot.
Nice job so nice brother
0:36 dangling (loose?) rubber band bottom left. Something broke / sprung loose?
Respekt sehr gute Arbeit 👍👍👍
This machine could be made from a smaller number of parts. Hooks could be placed directly under white platform with threads.
Excellent👍👍👍👏👏👏💯 thanks a lot
Could you please list the material and equipment used for this model..

That´s very clever.
This is so amazing. I just got a 3D printer. How do you plan and design such a machine?
Excellent 👏
Neat mechanism, but I'm trying to figure out what point there is, unless you're looking for oversized shoelaces?
Magic!

great video, i like your channel!
Magnífico 👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

I always design PCB for broad applications so no need to design new PCB for every next project.
Pretty ingenious
This is awesome!

Plz make a automatic chaff cutting machine
I'll give you a free tip. Just replace the blue yarn with white, then sell this as "мартеница" in Bulgaria and make a fortune!
From winding Wires to winding yarns..... LMAO
I wonder if you can also build a swing maching which are fully electrically/Compuuter controlled?
Keep up the good work
Hi Boss,,
Where i get this plastic wheel...? Its get difficult
Hopefully more thoughts on cotton fabric recycling machines etc
Where do they sell these hosiery needles? there are many types of them
Wow. Are u a mechanical eng?
Wow that's awesome :o
What kind of profiles did he use for the frame?
its 15mm din rail
@@MrInnovativewhere are you from and you can send me your watts app number
Good idea❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice price this project from
India
Are those ICs 555s?
U can try 4 color thread or more
Superb !
nice work
What is this knitted cord used for?
look up icord projects, it's how you shoe laces are made too
I think the shoe laces I've seen have been woven or braided rather than knit. I'd expect knitted laces to be too stretchy.
Can we purchase compleated machine kit?
Good jobe
hello to you please if you can refill the thread to the needles show the rosary in more detail thank you
Sooo where's the 3D part files u used, what are the other parts list needed for this ???
Where we can get the design
Cool!
VERY GOOD
( !!! PLEASE DO NOT ADD BACKGROUND MUSİC )
Do i get 3d print files?
How can I access the 3D files of this machine?
Brilannt. Friend
very cool! :D
excelente trabajajo tienes los archivos files?
Plz make a Arduino based alloy circular saw cuttersharpening machine bro
Excelente!!!!!
Super 😍
I love so much you 💓
Amazing
Muje ek winding machine banake chahiy

Nice
wonderful
Can you give me the parts used in this machine
where is tutorial how to print all pieces?
Super machanism
