I feel it's worth the slight discomfort my shy part feels. One of the things I remind myself of about tending this channel... is to make it the kind of channel I'd like to watch. We have all gone through the angst of the feeling we get, both positive and negative, when we put our work out to the public. It’s hard not to feel rejection when paintings don’t sell. But even harder to try to create something that is not authentic to what we what to express just for ourselves and our own creative expression.

Yay LJ, oh yes.. you can have such fun with miniatures… what’s your favourite thing to collect.. how do you display them? I have 15 of those little black chairs around my house simply because they make me happy. I sometimes put them in positions ‘as though! Some friends were in conversation together 🤣🪑🪑🪑
Great idea to paint another one for a customer! I go through a grief loss process when I have sold my favs and have quit selling even though I could use the money.

Right now I'm listening to Vlog 24 - Be More You in 2024. You ask questions that are very meaningful and interesting and you are just the kind of person I love to be around as I too live to delve deep into the how's and why's and find it so interesting to hear other artist's perspectives. I too am a Virgo with a Pisces ascendant so the deeper the dive the better! I don't have any fellow artist friends so it's a bit lonely out here, and with that I find your content and conversations quite enjoyable. Would love to visit over a cup of tea but alas there is an ocean between us! Oh and seeing that you enjoy astrology ( I've followed Pam for years) what a bright light! Anyway I want to turn you on to Maryann of Reavealing Light Tarot. Specifically at the beginning of each month she does a reading for all the signs. Ohhh... and it IS nice to connect with Aussies and Kiwi's who offer readings as there is sometimes differences in the hemispheres...
