Denise - I really like both finished pieces. I found it incredibly interesting to hear your thought process on what you choose to add and remove from your paintings. Coming along with you on your journey was fun. Thank you for taking the time to share. I know how much work it is to create a video each week. I appreciate your hard work. 😊
They can't blame you for the sun Denise 😀 I'm more interested in the down to earth people and their uncensored everyday art studio process / work, thats interesting to me. All the best from the south of England.
Hello John, Thanks for popping in with your warm and kind comments, I so appreciate it.... I also need down to earth, realness in my life as well as a bit of magic. ha! All the best from Sydney, Australia. :)
Dear.Gaynor, you are such an inspiration. Thank you for this video. You will need time for recovery and I will be thinking of you. Your paintings are fabulous. See you soon. Barbara
You could have stuck with your original idea to use the monochrome flower piece by putting a tight wash of the pink or white or another colour over it to tone it down so that it didn't overpower the other elements in the piece (especially the table setting).
hey that's a good idea... I forget about glazing.... mind you... I'm quite 'attached' that that pattern being black and white as it's directly relating to a piece I bought when on holiday... but yes... glazing to tone it down is something I could definitely try on another piece. Thanks for your considered comment, it's very kind of you. D
It’s a pleasure to hang out with you Denise. Cool paintings👍🤩
