    Blue is mask, you can even see it when you have your mouse hovering on the input at 16:09. You need to as an overlay correcting it so people know you misspoke. Orange is background.

    What a great tutorial. You explain the very complicated fusion things in a way simple and easy. Thank you very much.

    You used 2D tracking technique for a 3D solution which is why the text floated. You need to track the position you intend to put the text not something that is in the background with a single position tracker or you don't have any parallax information for the tracker to use.

    Great tutorial. FYI, you don't need to make the clip a Fusion Clip to work with it on the Fusion page. You simply need to have the playhead over the clip in the timeline, and when you switch to the Fusion page you will already have both In and Out nodes already there, ready to go.

    Great tutorial! Thanks for posing this. Definitely seems easier than layered based trackers.
    So how would you do that AE style text tracking where there’s one end of a line attached to an object with text at the other end of the line? Where the line will move freely independent of the text it is attached to. Another tutorial perhaps?

      No problem!
      That's called a "callout" similar to the text tracking tutorial I have done. But certainly thinking of doing a dedicated video for the callout!! I'll have it by next Tuesday!!! Keep your eyes peeled

    Can I put more than one tracker in so that I can get the text to change perspective as the video does?

    • @ThatModernDude
      @ThatModernDude  4 года назад

      Yeah 100% just click the add tracker button in the inspector and set it up prior to attempting the track

    • @LisaMurphy

      @@ThatModernDude I did that and it didn't seem to work -- couldn't get two trackers to show up on the screen. If I add a second tracking NODE and then select both with my mouse two trackers will show up on the screen. But then it seems they each have to track separately which is time consuming. They should both be able to track together as with other programs. And again, it's really hard to see the control point and even the thin lines of the boxes. I could not find a way to improve this problem.

    I can't grab and move the point tracker (the two green boxes) around. I have the tracker highlighted but my mouse just can't move it. Can you tell me why? EDIT: okay I found out the problem. I can hardly see the little box in the upper left corner that lights up. That is really TINY. Also, on Davinci all their tracking boxes are almost invisible. Bad news for people over 45.

    • @ThatModernDude
      @ThatModernDude  4 года назад

      You can adjust the tracking box size and colour in the fusion settings if you so desire

    • @LisaMurphy
      @LisaMurphy 4 года назад

      @@ThatModernDude Unfortunately that won't help me see the CONTROL POINT. The control point is microscopic and I can't even get it to light up half the time! I had my partner try and he couldn't do it either. Is there a way to make the control point larger? Also I could not find a way to change the color of the tracker or the size in Fusion Settings. I looked hard and could find no settings for that.

    Can you do that, but with the blur mask, not the title? Second thing is, I have a problem. I need blurise for example three faces on the picture, but all masks must to be connected (match moved?) to one/the same tracker made one the background. This three faces are moving, each to the other way.

    If you´r good at tracking, any idea how to track a plane when it leaves the frame? THX

    • @ThatModernDude

      Should just be able to find the frame the plane leaves the image and track backwards
