Thank you for using osb for this build. The 3/4 birch plywood that all the other channels use is at least $80 right now. Finally a project I can afford to build 😊
Complimenti davvero!
Hi, thank you so much for words 🙏 the top is Valchromat. It's like MDF but is colored and much more resistent to impact and moister than regular MDF. There are many colors available to choose from.
OSB never looked so good! Liked and subscribed. Awesome ideas. I've seriously wanting to put a AutoCAD/Solidworks station on the wall. Smart move. Less paper, and note taking for sure.

Hi Chris, thanks for your comment, please subscribe to the channel 😉 unfortunately i don't have the plan in English with Imperial measurements. But you have two options: use a conversion tool from metric to imperial, or buy a metric tape measure. In my opinion the second option is the easiest and most effective way to use this plan. Hope you find a way to do this, it would be great to know that someone has build one like mine.
@@WoodYouDoIt ok. Sounds like an option. Do you have plans other than the video? I saw the cut list on your website, but had trouble finding plans. I am a very novice woodworker so plans are often helpful.
@@CGYT16 Totally understand that. i don't have detailed plans, but you can find on my website some prints of the cabinets ond drawers with measures and i think they're pretty easy to understand. Just scroll down on the miter station project page and you'll find them. I think the prints and the cut list are intuitive and enough to build this project.
Has the shelf you used for the mitre saw been strong enough? I have that saw and I'm not sure if 18mm thick material will be enough. It's a heavy saw. Thanks
@@SuperTim1965 you can use it with tong and groove, it's ok. Just try to use it on the back of the cabinets or in the back of the drawers. Or you can cut it and lose just a couple of centimeters.
Very nice work and editing. Do you recommend OSB as a material for shop furniture? With the price of plywood these days, I'm thinking about using that material for my miter station. What was the gray material you used for the tops of your station? Thank you.
Hi Larson, thanks for your comment. OSB is a nice alternative to plywood. For me is more than enough for furniture shop. The grey material is Valchromat.

@@WoodYouDoIt I've never built drawers and cabinets with OSB because I don't really like its edge. It looks rugged and I'm concerned about wear over time and use. What's your opinion now you've build it ? Thanks
@@davidm1551 Wear and tear won't be a concern if we take good care of it. In addition, there is always the possibility of applying varnish which prolongs durability. On the other hand, any piece of a drawer is also easily changed if it is damaged with use because no glue were used on the drawers.

No issues with the OSB chipping?
Hi Robbie, no issues so far.
Nice station. What was your thinking with the pull-out cupboard with the 3 shelves? What do your put in there?
It's for all kind of paint cans, varnish cans, sprays and glue cans and stuff like that.
Nice build. How has the OSB held up? What thickness OSB did you use?
Thanks for your comment. OSB it's ok and will last for many years. . I've used 18mm thickness
How has this held up over the time?
All OK so far 👍

Yes they hold well 👍
