The cigarettes are probably there because Vince Gilligan was a writer for X-Files before he wrote Breaking Bad. Very cool Easter egg.
The episode of X-Files that Vince Gilligan wrote also starred Bryan Cranston. That’s how they met.
What's crazy is I didn't catch that on my first watch through.
Sir, i put off watching Better Call Saul for many years. I can tell as a fan that you love catching camera easter eggs and hidden meanings. Its just as good of a show, and lets you learn so much rich information. Please don't commit the disservice of overlooking it
I personally think bcs is better!
If you think bcs is better you’ve been taking Walter’s product
19:32 She was also Mary on "227". Opposite Jackée Harry
Enjoy the burgers, work out, eat healthy too. You can't have time if you don't make time, and self defense starts with you defending yourself from yourself. You can't do it with a gun.
I am one of the very few thinking this movie was unnecessary. To me the ending of the series, with Walt's fate and Jesse driving into the night was the perfect ending.
I feel Todd is more like Dexter but less….artistic..?
Remember this movie came out in 2019 6 years after the ending of breaking bad!
God, I don't remember it being THAT long. Why the wait?
Another reason it shouldn’t have been made
Yeah, the actor playing Todd had gained a bunch of weight for another role (he starred in a season of Fargo), and it took him several years to slowly get back down to his "Todd" weight.
I just saw him in a new trailer for something and he lost weight
I think he just gained weight, like many of us do. Otherwise, why not lose weight for this role?
@@orangewarm1 because he was doing Fargo... which had him gain weight.
@@Wintertidal he didn't gain it FOR fargo lol, he just gained weight IRL
@orangewarm1 coz he's a male. Hollywood clearly allow that for men!
I honestly think you may end up liking BCS better than BB.
I do so far lol..
yeah you're gonna love better call saul
He might not
It starts off really slow before it gets really good I just hope he has the patience to see it through
@@BIGxBOSSxx1 I think he’ll appreciate the cinematography either way
Todd is a very decent portrayal of a clinical sociopath. Many people, including doctors, have reacted to him and attested the same
watching you from 🇰🇪 Kenya . your consistency is immaculate! you the few among I watch on RUclips , Love you MrLboyd
I agree with you about this movie. It was a nice goodbye sort of finalization, but indeed they could have trimmed it some more. BCS will definitely touch on Break Bad, but expect it to more be about Sauls life. He became one, if not the most popular side character in Breaking Bad. To some degree I may like him more then anyone else. ESpecialyl after BCS.
Walters bald cap 😂
9:32... I didn't even know this existed, seems so far like a montage of unused scenes/clips put together to make a "movie" or sumn, why waste it all when u can make a bunch of money off it? I could be wrong tho, just seems like it so far...
\O>
Suzuki Samurai's are garbage. 😂😂 My family had one. It's how I learned to drive a manual. Those things are not safe.
If you used to be a bodybuilder, you’ve prob still got a lot of that muscle underneath. I suggest carnivore or at least high-protein and low carb along with 3-4 hrs /wk of strength training.
Todd (Jesse Plemons) is married to Kirsten Dunst in real life. If you think Jesse looks different after 4 years. Try another 7.
Great reaction. another series that would be great for you to react to is FARGO.. Watch the movie first.
Will you do the Walking Dead? It’s the only thing that can compare
I'd love to see a old pic of you, never would have guessed you used to be a body builder.
8:20 my friend has one and you are right. We went mountain offroading and it's really good
bro u skipped todd singing, the best scene in the movie
Better Call Saul PLEASE sir🙏 I'm sure you looked great with all those muscles but you are still beautiful, your wife is lucky!😃 I think the word you were searching for is console tvs🤣
Yes, they were called "console televisions". Some of them had stereos & record players integrated into the console.
"El Camino" is just a good send off to the characters. Its a nice shutting of the door. Sure BCS went on for a few more years but this was a good end to the franchise and leaves atleast me content and with no other real questions cause it just ends so well
3:38 Yessir, the location they used for Los Pollos Hermanos is really called Twisters. Great burritos.
But yeah, this was a great bit of closure for Jesse, after all he's been through, how things buttoned up for him after his escape at the end of the series.
Judging by Todd's recent weight gain I call B.S. on him only having soup in the apt
Campbell's Chunky
Thanksfor taking this journey with us.
Beef and broccoli?
Not a great OV edit, imo.
Thank you
jessie made a dumb move not going to Alaska and starting over and instead went to go be rat
Child poisoning doesn't sit well with people with functioning brain cells
I thought he was just an angry non-rat who wouldn’t listen to reason.
Seriously though, if Jesse had just gone with the vacuum cleaner guy and gone to Alaska the first time, Andrea would still be alive.
@@jg2977 thank you , Jessie just lost reason and now Andrea died because Jessie tried to escape
Suzuki Samurai's were well known for tipping over very easily back in the day. I haven't heard or thought of them in many years.
HYPE AF
El Camino is easily my favorite piece of Breaking Bad
What? Haha thats an embarassinng statement
@@anatos1722 what an embarrassing reply
@@RCScorchCore how so? BB is greatest series ever made, nothing El Camino did was better than any scene from BB , ur just clueless,or poor judge of quality, its all good my g it is what it is
That's actually the hallmark of antisocial PD (sociopaths/psychopaths) that make it to adulthood. They blend in unless you're unfortunate enough to be too close
I enjoy this film. It’s a nice epilogue to Breaking Bad and I like actually knowing what happened to Jesse after Breaking Bad rather than just guess whether he made it out, got arrested or was killed somehow, somewhere. May not be exactly necessary, but I’m glad this film exists. Obviously people talk about Jesse Plemons the weight gain, since after Breaking Bad, he did other parts that required him to gain weight and since El Camino was shot in as much secret as possible, him losing the amount of weight to be back to where he was Todd in Season 5 wouldn’t have been very possible since they needed to get everyone on board and then shoot it all while doing their best to ensure people didn’t really suspect anything was going on with Aaron Paul, Jesse Plemons and the other cast members being back in ABQ. They wanted this to be a surprise prior to the announcement of it releasing in theaters for a limited time and streaming. Great reaction man, take care!
Oh, you're spoiling us, dude, RIGHT to El Camino? Cheers!
4:09 - That’s stone cold crazy, ya know?! “Prefer him to be in captivity”??
You know Vince Gilligan, the creator if this show was the co producer of the x files right? Him and chris carter or whatever his name was So
Obviously that's why the morleys are there
The most touching sentiment in this movie was Skinny saying Jesse's his hero. That was so unexpected.
Todd's apartment isn't exactly gorgeous, but it's not terrible.
I'm surprised Jack didn't keep Todd a lot closer. Todd clearly has notable... gaps in his personality. As bad as Jack was, Jack still wasn't a sociopath. He understood and used normal emotions.
That's pretty sad though. Jesse's life isn't a success story.
You don't know enough about Jack to say that.
@@orangewarm1 Lol, I don't know enough about Jack to say what? I literally said nothing against him other than he's got some negative traits. My statement would have been valid against Abraham Lincoln or Mother Teresa.
Jack and all his goons are completely sociopaths.
My theory about the disappearer is that he wasn't really holding $1800 over Jesse... he was seriously spooked that Jesse showed up out of the blue like he did.
Ed's activities are extremely legal and Jesse was the most wanted man in the planet at this point. I think Ed thought Jesse might be wired.
1:32 "Learn to love a moose"... I don't think that's a prerequisite.
Wow. I didn’t expect this so soon. Yeay
Can't wait for Better Call Saul.
Im so glad you appreciated this movie than most other breaking bad fans!
People didn’t like this.. huh I loved its!
Better Call Saul is next! Can't wait.
I ate at that twisters, it wasn’t half bad
our boy grew up on us haha
now you have to watch The Walking Dead its in the same world as Breaking Bad lol
Please say this is a joke
a couple easter eggs doesn't put it in the same universe
?
