Thank you!!! I know you guys aren't making great money off these Solstice vehicle videos, but they are real lifesavers for those of noobs us working on them. Good video work on this one. PS Beautiful car!
Vaughn, I want to thank you for this very informative and very detailed video on replacing the Solstice steering wheel. I been wanting to replace the steering wheel on my Solstice with one similar to yours but was somewhat apprehensive especially having to deal with an explosive airbag. Your video gave me the confidence to tackle the job myself following your step-by-step video. I ordered a wheel very similar to yours and just finished installing it. It looks great! Too bad I can’t seem to post a picture here. Thanks again for all your help.
Your car really looks Great. What kind of things did you do under the hood and to the exhaust. I just bought a 08 with 3K miles and a one owner car. Since your ride looks that good, I;m sure what you did under the hood is what I would want to do to my 08. Can you help me Vaughn?
Thanks for the video, my cruse control stopped working but no other lights or codes so I am thinking it may be the on/off switch on the wheel. Am I correct from watching your video that I will have to remove the airbag to get to the bolt that holds the switch cluster in place?
Awesome video I'm following it as I attempt to swap my steering wheel out for a flat bottom D shape just like you did. However the nut holding the actual steering wheel on is so hard to remove I'm stuck I can't move forward.. any suggestions ?
its the APR Performance AS-105957 Wing (GTC Drag). I just got it from Amazon www.amazon.com/dp/B000GVKGJS/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_K4SK1J8WKHW15HY7ZA4R?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Looks great. You are missing out not having the manual trans. These cars are so fun going thru the gears. They rap really nice and rev pretty far. I dont know what id do with an auto... Hang my arm out the window i guess. Turn on the stereo.
Great job, dude. Thanks for the video. It looks badass!!

Nice informative video! Sweet car too.
I also like how your Solstice has the Martini striping, it's pretty nice looking make me think of the old Jazz cartoon Porsche
thanks for that! Dude, you need to tag your vids so they show up in a more general serch for Solstice content!
Thanks. PunisheR thanks you too. Punisher | Page 126 | Pontiac Solstice Forum
A note, it is important to keep from turning the clockspring ( the twisty thing the wires are comming out of). or it will be damaged.

Too bad you can't get carbon fiber over the airbag and buttons as well. That would complete the look for sure.
Nah would way rather have the autobot logo. To much carbon is a problem
