Assalamu Alaikum Brothers, As a foodie myself, I have been following your videos for some time now. As a retired chef, when it comes to traditional authentic desi food, it is very hard to impress me. I have been to many traditional afghani restaurants within London surroundings. I don't care paying extra if the food is amazing. One restaurant is on my top list for quality, taste, service and value for money. The restaurant is called CHARSI KARAHI in Norbury, London Road, SW16 4AD. The food is fresh and cooked to order. The mixed platter with khabuli rice and the lamb Charsi karahi are amazing. Three chapli kebabs for £10.00, wow. They do whole/half or leg of Afghani roast lamb (advance notice required). Traditional simple afghani floor seating, nothing fancy. I highly recommend you guys go there and do a review. The main Chef is Azim Ullah, He cooks with passion, he can adjust the spice level according to your taste, that should help your Bengali friend lol. They can be very busy during peak times. I truly believe you wont be disappointed. Who knows, on the day I might end there with you guys lol.
Shofique great to hear from you amazing feedback, you make us want to go to charsi karahi, i think this will have to go on the list! thanks for the info and who knows we might see you there? Retired!? sounds like you still got fire in your belly for great food!
Boys, try Taste of Peshawar in Wembley for their chapli kababs- you can see boss get his meat fresh from the butchers next door whenever he runs out, and Shahre Naw in Southall for their lamb kebabs, they’re seasoned simply with salt like turkish çöp şiş and they’re just amazing. Shahre Naw’s tajik style pulao is amazing too
Going to have to try it
So they actually charged you £ 200 for recording? Wth
they were asking us to pay o record
Great to see
This is in my local area and I ate there once and never went there again as the food was bad and I became sick for several days.
Living in Bethnal Green for over 20 years for food it has never been the most ideal place. But recently there has been some improvements because of the trendy and fusion food boom on social media especially to the younger generation.
These are some of the decent places you can eat in when you happen to come Bethnal Green:
1. For Turkish food - Adana (4.3 based on 353 reviews)
2. For grill food - Grillfellaz Peri Peri (4.6 based 161 reviews)
3. For Chinese food - Wok & Go (4.9 based on 671 reviews)
4. For Chinese food - Kung Pao Panda (4.9 based on 119 reviews)
4. For Smash burgers - Mo's Shack (4.9 based on 68 reviews)
5. For Pakistani food - Chaskaas (4.6 based on 110)
6. For fish and chips - Regal Fish Bar (4.2 based 228 reviews). Don't eat anything else there other than fish and chips because they can't be trusted with their chicken or meat being halal even though Turkish people are running it.
Thanks this is a brilliant list
Can you review some Buffet places in London ? I think it would be a good series , thanks Halal Hangouts
I could really feel Altaf’s disappointment in the lack of rice 😂
They told us they had rice, then they told us no, was overalll disappointing
Iaqbals moustache looks sick! Food looked ok👴🏾
Iqbal is sick
4:54 the disappointment was real
For real man they let the whole team down!!
We have been a few times, and this time was the worst, the mixed herb chips was the nail on the coffin
Another eatery closed following a HH review!
Up your game people - they’re coming!😊
Straight out of crumpets, we are coming for any below par restaurant, but also the good ones, we don’t normally give v bad reviews we would rather not, but it is important to let the people know
@@halalhangouts yes very important -
Red camel in leyton
Check our review was definitely banging
Not gunna lie , ive eaten alot of grim places even when i could see the shop was hygiene was bad when it came to rubbish disposal etc.
Pakhtoonkhwa on green Street
What’s their best dish?
Guys these guys must have been trolling you. First no kabuli pilau in a Afghan restaurant and then they are kicking you in your middle leg by sprinkling coriander on chips?? And calling it mixed herb chips lmao. Joke place
Lads check out Ariana restaurant in Mile End. It’s Afghani food, cheap and large portions
Nice, that sounds amazing, is it better than this?
@@halalhangouts can’t compare as I’ve never been to Afghan Grill. But I ordered the lamb’s shoulder with rice and their wings with green sauce. Its soo good
🐐
